A transformer includes a bobbin having a cavity, a primary winding wound around the bobbin, and a secondary winding wound around the bobbin and magnetically coupled with the primary winding. In the transformer, at least one of the primary winding and the secondary winding is divided into at least two portions which include a portion wound at an inside region of the transformer and a portion wound at an outside region of the transformer. Also, at least a portion of the other one of the primary winding and the secondary winding is wound between said at least two portions obtained by dividing the one of the primary winding and the secondary winding, and at least a portion of the cavity of the bobbin is used as a space to dispose another member therein.

Transformer, loudspeaker device, loudspeaker network, and loudspeaker system

A speaker includes a disk-shaped base. A substantially hemispherical surface vibrator is fitted into a substantially circular groove formed in the base to be bonded therein. Terminals are attached to electrodes located on both surfaces of the vibrator. The edge portion of the vibrator is bonded with a first adhesive, and further, its circumference is bonded with a second adhesive. The first adhesive has a sufficient bonding strength between the vibrator and the base. The second adhesive has a lower elastic modulus than the first adhesive.

Speaker

A speaker has a semi-spherical vibration section and a ringed plate-like base section. The vibration section and the base section are formed as a single, unitary piezoelectric body. Driving electrodes are located on the single unitary body comprising the vibration section and the base section. The driving electrodes are connected with lead electrodes and the lead electrodes are connected with connecting terminals.

A method of making a speaker with a semi-spherical vibration section and a ringed plate-like base section is disclosed. The vibration section and the base section are formed as a single, unitary piezoelectric body. Driving electrodes are located on the single unitary body comprising the vibration section and the base section. The driving electrodes are connected with lead electrodes and the lead electrodes are connected with connecting terminals.

Method of making a piezoelectric speaker with a unitary body comprising a base section and dome shaped vibrating section

A speaker includes a disk-shaped base. A substantially hemispherical surface vibrator is fitted into a substantially circular groove provided in the base and bonded therein. Terminals are attached to electrodes provided on both surfaces of the vibrator. The terminals, passing through the terminal grooves provided in the base, are led out in a direction that is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the base. Further, a horn as a separate member may be attached to the outer surface side of the vibrator.

Speaker having a hemispherical vibrator

Four piezoelectric elements are formed on both surfaces of a plate-shaped vibrating body. Two piezoelectric elements are formed to be opposite to each other at one side of the longitudinal center portion of the vibrating body. Another two piezoelectric elements are formed to be opposite to each other at the other side of the longitudinal center portion of the vibrating body. In one embodiment a weight is formed at the center portion of the vibrating body. In another embodiment, weights are formed at both longitudinal ends of the vibrating body. By applying a signal to the piezoelectric elements, the vibrating body is vibrated in a longitudinal direction. In this time, the vibrating body is vibrated in such a manner that longitudinal expansion and contraction take place simultaneously in a part of the vibrating body. By using such vibration, both longitudinal ends are not displaced in spite of the vibration of the vibrating body. The vibrating body can be used as an acceleration sensor by measuring the output voltages from the piezoelectric elements of the vibrating body.

Piezoelectric vibrator and acceleration sensor using the same

An acceleration sensor includes a vibrator having a vibrating member which has a node portion of vibration and vibrates in a longitudinal direction of the member. A support member is provided in one end portion along the length of the vibrating member for supporting the vibrator. A weight is provided at the other end portion along the length of the vibrator, for increasing the flexing of the vibrating member due to acceleration. A first connection section is provided between the weight and the other end of the vibrating member and a second connection section is provided between the weight and the node portion of the vibrating member.

A vibrator 12 includes a regular triangular prism-shaped vibrating body 14. Center portions of two supporting members 18a and 18b are fixed to the vibrating body 14. One supporting member 18a includes a linear intermediate portion 20a extending in a widthwise direction (y-axis direction) of the vibrator 12, and two linear leg portions 22a and 22a bend downward from both ends of the intermediate portion 20a. In this case, a distance W' between tips of the two leg portions 22a and 22a is expanded wider than a length W of the intermediate portion 20a. Similarly, the other supporting member 18b also includes a linear intermediate portion 20b and two leg portions 22b and 22b, a distance between tips of which is expanded.
