An optical connector includes a first attachment area for receiving and permanently attaching to an optical waveguide. A light coupling unit is disposed and configured to move translationally and not rotationally within the housing of the connector. The light coupling unit includes a second attachment area for receiving and permanently attaching to an optical waveguide received and permanently attached at the first attachment area. The light coupling unit also includes light redirecting surface. The light redirecting surface is configured such that when an optical waveguide is received and permanently attached at the first and second attachment areas, the light redirecting surface receives and redirects light from the optical waveguide. The optical waveguide limits, but does not prevent, a movement of the light coupling unit within the housing.

Optical ferrule and connector

An optical connector includes a first attachment area () for receiving and permanently attaching to an optical waveguide (). A light coupling unit () is disposed and configured to move translationally and not rotationally within the housing of the connector. The light coupling unit includes a second attachment area () for receiving and permanently attaching to an optical waveguide received and permanently attached at the first attachment area. The light coupling unit also includes light redirecting surface (). The light redirecting surface is configured such that when an optical waveguide is received and permanently attached at the first and second attachment areas, the light redirecting surface receives and redirects light from the optical waveguide. The optical waveguide limits, but does not prevent, a movement of the light coupling unit within the housing.

Electrical connector for suppressing crosstalk

A connector protective cover is provided which has a pair of cover members (and) to be joined together and which, using the pair of cover members (and), protects a latch lever that is operated to retain a pair of connectors (and) in engagement with each other, wherein the latch lever has an operating portion and an engagement effecting portion, and when the operating portion is operated, the engagement effecting portion is moved between an engaging position where the pair of connectors are retained in engagement with each other and a disengaging position where the pair of connectors are released from the engagement, and wherein the pair of cover members (and) joined together in an inseparable manner covers the operating portion and is fixed to the operating portion of the latch lever.

Connector protective cover

The present invention relates to an insulation displacement connector. One embodiment includes an insulation displacement terminal in which wire insulation displacement portions, to be electrically connected to wire, are formed by cutting and folding, a connector housing for holding the insulation displacement terminal therein and having a holder opening in an area in which the wire insulation displacement portion of the insulation displacement terminal are located, and a wire holder having a pair of upper and lower covers capable of being assembled together by being mounted to the holder opening, wherein the lower cover includes a rotary piece rotatable inward about a proximal end thereof when the lower cover is assembled with the upper cover to clamp or to provide strain relief for the wire in association with the upper cover.
