A control unit is provided in a wearable terminal mounted on a head of an occupant of a vehicle, and controls a display unit that is positioned immediately before an eye of the occupant when the wearable terminal is mounted on the head and can display a plurality of types of object images, and the control unit decides whether or not to display a specific object image that is a predetermined object image on the display unit based on at least one of information on a line of sight of the occupant and information on a swing of the occupant.

Vehicle display control device

The storage unit stores first feature point information of the AR glasses obtained by photographing the AR glasses with a camera (tracking camera or camera) and extracting features. Further, the specifying unit combines second feature point information obtained by photographing the AR glasses brought into the car with a tracking camera and extracting features with the first feature point information stored in the storage unit. The position of the AR glasses brought into the vehicle is determined based on the verification results.

Vehicle control device

An extraction unit of a mobile terminal extracts a plurality of feature points from within a shooting range of a camera, based on shooting results of the camera provided on AR glasses. A determination unit determines a boundary between a first region corresponding to an inside of a vehicle cabin and a second region corresponding to an outside of the vehicle cabin within the shooting range of the camera based on discontinuity of movement vectors of the feature points when a vehicle moves. A specifying unit specifies a position of the AR glasses based on a determination result by the determination unit.

In AR glasses, an incident angle calculation unit calculates first and second angles of incidence of first and second markers, respectively, to an imager relative to a reference line in the real world in accordance with image plane coordinates of the first and second markers in the image captured by the imager. A separation distance calculation unit calculates a camera-to-marker distance, which is a distance from the imager to the first marker, in accordance with the calculated first and second angles of incidence, and an inter-marker separation distance between the first and second markers along the reference line in the real world. A display adjustment unit adjusts a projection position and size of the AR image with respect to the first marker in the image plane coordinates in accordance with the camera-to-marker distance.

Image display system

A lever operation device includes an operation lever which rotates integrally with a steering wheel of a vehicle and receives operations at least in upward and downward directions and around which a predetermined region is set so as to prevent the operation lever from contacting with a leg of a user seated in a driver's seat when the steering wheel is rotated to a maximum steering angle, and an operation portion that is arranged on the operation lever so as not to be located out of the region and includes plural operating positions each assigned an executable function.

Lever operation device

A switch device includes a switch body, which is attached to and rotated integrally with an irregularly-shaped steering unit, and a lever unit, which is held pivotally about a switch body. The lever unit includes a lever shaft including a base, which extends in a direction intersecting the steering shaft, and an arm, which is formed integrally with the base and extends in a direction that differs from the direction in which the base extends. The lever unit also includes a lever head at the distal end of the lever shaft, and the lever head extends from the lever shaft in the width direction, which intersects an axial direction.

Switch device

An image display system includes a display configured to be attached to the head of a user who is an occupant of a vehicle, to display a subject image to be superimposed on a field of vision of the user; a SLAM camera fixed to the display to capture a SLAM image of surroundings of the display; one or more light on-vehicle displays disposed within a vehicle cabin to emit light that serves as an AR marker; and an image controller configured to determine a display position of the subject image based on the SLAM image including the AR marker.

Image display system and image controller

An image display system includes a wearable device including a display configured to display an image in a field of vision of a user and a first sensor configured to detect an absolute movement of the display, and a mobile terminal including a second sensor configured to detect an absolute movement of the vehicle. The image display system further includes an image controller including a computer installed in the mobile terminal to display a subject image on the display in an AR display mode. The image controller is configured to determine a display position of the subject image on the display based at least on the absolute movement of the display detected by the first sensor and the absolute movement of the vehicle detected by the second sensor.

AR glasses include: a display unit that displays a virtual image within a field of view of a wearer such that an actual view right in front of the wearer is able to be seen; and a liquid crystal panel that is able to partially change a transmittance of external light. An AR glasses control unit sets a transmittance of external light of a portion of the liquid crystal panel corresponding to the virtual image to be lower than a transmittance of external light of another portion.

AR glasses

A switch device includes a switch body, which is arranged at the back side of a steering unit, and a lever unit, which is attached to the switch body to allow for switching by a pivotal operation about a first axis, which extends in the axial direction of a steering shaft. The lever unit includes a lever shaft, which extends in a direction intersecting the first axis of the pivotal operation, a lever head, which is arranged at the distal end of the lever shaft and has a larger dimension than the diameter of the lever shaft, and a push operation unit, which allows for switching by a push operation. The push operation unit is arranged so that the operation direction of the push operation is directed toward the first axis.

An onboard display device that includes: a display that includes a display region at a front passenger seat side of a vehicle width direction center position at a front face side of a vehicle cabin, and that is capable of displaying a picture in the display region; and a display controller that converts a second image captured by a second image capture section to a point-of-view-converted image viewed as if from a hypothetical point-of-view at an installation position of a first image capture section, that stitches a first image captured by the first image capture section with an image from a range in the point-of-view-converted image not overlapping with the first image to generate a composite image, and that controls the display so as to display the composite image in the display region as the picture.

Onboard display device, control method for onboard display device, and control program for onboard display device

A display apparatus for a vehicle is provided with a display unit and a display position control unit. The display unit is capable of displaying information at plural different display positions. In an autonomous driving state of the vehicle, the display position control unit detects a position of a steering wheel and an eye position of a driver. When the display position control unit determines that information displayed by the display unit is obscured by the steering wheel as seen by the driver, the display position control unit causes the information to be displayed at a display position that is visible to the driver.

Display apparatus for a vehicle

A vehicle steering column support structure efficiently supports a steering column. A steering support bracket that supports a steering column is fixed to instrument panel reinforcement disposed along the vehicle width direction between left and right front pillars. A floor brace spans between a side portion of a first support member of the steering support bracket and a side wall portion of a floor tunnel portion. A steering brace spans between a side portion of the first support member and a lower portion of the front pillar. Up-down vibration of the steering column can accordingly be supported by axial force of the floor brace and the steering brace.

Vehicle steering column support structure

A vehicle instrument panel reinforcement capable of raising ease of vehicle installation is provided. The instrument panel reinforcement is formed with a cross-section profile of square shaped closed cross-section profile from an upper member and a lower member, is disposed along a vehicle width direction at the inside of a vehicle instrument panel. Plural first protruding portions are formed to one end portion of the upper member, and plural first projection portions are formed to another end portion thereof. Similarly, plural second protruding portions are formed to one end portion of the lower member and plural second projection portions are formed to another end portion thereof. The first protruding portions and the second projection portions, and the first projection portions and the second protruding portions, are projection welded together at plural points simultaneously.

Vehicle instrument panel reinforcement

Vehicle instrument panel reinforcement and a passenger seat airbag device attachment structure employing the vehicle instrument panel reinforcement are provided that are capable of securing the strength and rigidity to support for example a reaction force imparted during deployment of a passenger seat airbag device, and are also capable of achieving a reduction in both cost and weight. Instrument panel reinforcement formed with a quadrilateral shaped closed cross-section profile from an upper member and a lower member is disposed along the vehicle width direction inside a vehicle instrument panel. A circular cylinder shaped collar is disposed inside a closed cross-section portion of the upper member. A passenger seat airbag device is fastened and fixed to the instrument panel reinforcement by a bolt and weld nut, employing the collar.
