An anti-glare member prevents reflection of external light by surfaces of displays or screens without causing reduction of contrast and glare of displayed images. The anti-glare member has an anti-glare layer comprising microparticles and a transparent binder wherein the microparticles are black microparticles having a value (n), obtained by dividing absolute value of complex index of refraction of the black microparticles by index of refraction of the transparent binder, of 0.95 to 1.05. The arithmetical mean roughness (Ra) according to JIS B0601:2001 of surface of the anti-glare layer is 0.3 to 1.0 &#x3bc;m.

Anti-glare member, display and screen using the same

A method for manufacturing a thin functional member having no base material, which exhibits a special function and is free from curling caused by the base material. The method includes the following steps (1) to (4): (1) filling a functional layer comprising an ionizing radiation curable resin between a base material and a mold having a predetermined concavo-convex pattern, (2) irradiating the filled functional layer with ionizing radiation to half-cure the functional layer, and then delaminating the functional layer and the base material from the mold, (3) adhering an adhesive sheet to a part of the functional layer, and delaminating the functional layer from the base material starting from a portion to which the adhesive sheet is adhered, and (4) irradiating the functional layer with ionizing radiation again to further cure the functional layer.

Method for producing a functional member having no base material

A sheet for providing an ink-receiving layer comprising a peelable substrate provided with an ink-receiving layer and an adhesive layer laminated thereon in this order or a sheet for providing an ink-receiving layer comprising a peelable substrate provided with an adhesive layer laminated thereon, which adhesive layer has ink-receiving property. Provided is an ink jet recording material comprising a substrate and an ink-receiving layer provided on at least one surface of the substrate, wherein the ink-receiving layer comprises a water-soluble photosensitive resin. The ink jet recording material shows excellent water resistance without sacrificing ink-receiving properties and requiring no or only a simple post-treatment.

Ink jet recording materials

A recording material comprising a transparent substrate which has a recording layer on one side and a peelable hiding layer on the other side is provided. By using the recording material of the present invention, a solid image portion in white or other color, in particular, with hiding property, can be formed on a transparent substrate with easy operation.
