This centrifugal blood pump apparatus includes an impeller () provided in a blood chamber (), and a plurality of coils () provided in a motor chamber () for driving the impeller () to rotate with a dividing wall () interposed therebetween. A flexible substrate () in the shape of a strip is arranged to surround outer circumferences of the plurality of coils (), and is connected to the plurality of coils () and a connector (). A driving voltage (VU, VV, VW) is externally supplied to the plurality of coils () via the connector () and the flexible substrate (). Thus, assembling workability, productivity and reliability are improved.

An electric vehicle includes a motor unit configured to drive a wheel, the motor unit including motor coils; a control system including an inverter; a temperature sensor configured to sense temperature of the motor coils or the inverter; and a limiter configured to, if the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor is equal to or greater than a motor coils temperature threshold, reduce a motor current of the motor unit until a derivative dTmc/dt of the sensed temperature with time drops to zero or below, or to, if the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor is equal to or greater than an inverter temperature threshold, limit a current command to the inverter until a derivative dTic/dt of the sensed temperature with time drops to zero or below. The limiter is further configured to stop reducing a motor current of the motor or limiting the current command to the inverter.

In a diagnostic device and a diagnostic method for a motor unit of an electric vehicle, an oil degradation/others detection unit is provided which is configured to detect at least any one detection item of a contamination degree, a degradation degree, and an oil amount of an oil used for cooling a motor unit or a reduction gear unit during a non-traveling period when the vehicle is powered on. An abnormalities-time control unit is provided which is configured to send notice of abnormalities of an oil supply system or not permit start of rotation of the motor unit when a detection value detected by the oil degradation/others detection unit is out of a setting range.

Diagnostic method for motor

A remote-controlled actuator assembly includes a distal end member fitted to a tip end of a spindle guide section for alteration in attitude, a tool rotatably provided in the distal end member, a tool rotation drive source for rotating the tool, and an attitude altering drive mechanism for operating the attitude of the distal end member. The spindle guide section has a rotary shaft for transmitting a rotation of the tool rotation drive source to the spindle and an attitude altering member to alter the attitude of the distal end member. A slip-responsive controller causes, if it is determined that the acceptable angular acceleration is exceeded, a motor controller to reduce a drive torque of the motor unit(s).

Electric vehicle control device

In this centrifugal blood pump apparatus, one permanent magnet is provided in one surface of an impeller, a second permanent magnet is provided in an inner wall of a blood chamber, a third permanent magnet is provided in the other surface of the impeller, and a fourth permanent magnet and a rotor for driving the impeller to rotate are provided, with an diaphragm being interposed. A centrifugal blood pump apparatus includes an impeller provided in a blood chamber, first and second permanent magnets provided in one surface and the other surface of the impeller respectively, a third permanent magnet provided in an inner wall of the blood chamber, and a magnetic element and a coil for driving the impeller to rotate with a diaphragm being interposed. First and second grooves for hydrodynamic bearing different in shape and depth from each other are formed in the inner wall of the blood chamber facing the impeller, and third and fourth grooves for hydrodynamic bearing different in shape and depth from each other are formed in the diaphragm facing the impeller. The second and fourth grooves for hydrodynamic bearing generate high hydrodynamic pressure when the impeller is activated to rotate, while the first and third grooves for hydrodynamic bearing generate high hydrodynamic pressure when the impeller steadily rotates.

An insertion device of a coil includes a delivery wire driving unit, a secondary catheter driving unit, and a control circuit. A platinum coil for coil embolization is attached to the tip of a delivery wire. The delivery wire driving unit is provided in the proximity of the entrance of a Y connector such that the delivery wire is advanced and moved back. The secondary catheter driving unit is provided in the proximity of the entrance of a Y connector such that the secondary catheter is advanced and moved back. The control circuit controls the delivery wire driving unit so as to insert the delivery wire by a predetermined insertion force. If the delivery wire cannot be inserted, the control circuit controls the secondary catheter driving unit such that the secondary catheter is advanced after being moved back, and then controls the delivery wire driving unit so as to insert the delivery wire.

Insertion device and insertion method of coil

To provide a motor driving system for an electrically powered automotive vehicle, in which the drive motor is rotationally controlled to increase the reliability, the use is made of an angle sensor for detecting the relative rotational angle between a stator and a rotor of a drive motor for driving the electric vehicle and a controller for controlling the rotation of the drive motor on the basis of the relative rotational angle detected by the angle sensor. The angle sensor is provided in a plural number. The controller includes an angle sensor switching unit operable to select and activate one of the plurality of the angle sensors and then to switch over to an activation of another one of the angle sensors in the event that the one of the angle sensors is determined abnormal.

Motor driving system for electric vehicle

An inverter is provided with a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the inverter. A plurality of threshold values are set up for the temperature detected by the temperature sensor, electric current restricting conditions different from each other are set up for each of the temperature regions sorted out by each threshold value, and an inverter restricting unit for applying a restriction to an electric current command applied to the inverter in dependence on the electric current restricting condition of the temperature region, in which the detected temperature is included. Without the drivability of an automobile being disturbed, by means of a temperature control of the inverter, not only are any change in characteristic and impairment, resulting from an overheating thereof, prevented, but also an undesirable reduction of the life of the inverter is avoided.

Electric vehicle

An electric vehicle is proposed which can achieve early detection of abnormal short-circuit of motor coils, thus avoiding various driving problems. The electric vehicle includes a motor unit configured to drive a wheel. The motor unit includes a synchronous motor with three-phase motor coils. The three-phase motor coils include a first motor coil, a second motor coil and a third motor coil of different phases. One end of the first motor coil, one end of the second motor coil and one end of the third motor coil are connected with each other at a neutral point in a star connection. The electric vehicle also includes an abnormal short-circuit monitor configured to detect an abnormal short-circuit of the motor coils, and also includes an abnormalities-responsive disconnection unit configured to electrically disconnect the motor coils from the neutral point.
