A connector includes: a housing, which includes a hole portion extending forward from an insertion slot into which an object is to be inserted; a plurality of terminals, which are arranged in the hole portion; a conductive shell, which is configured to at least partially cover the housing; a grounding spring pieces, which are electrically connected to the conductive shell, and is formed at a position apart from a terminal group toward a right side or a left side so that the grounding spring pieces are brought into contact with a grounding pad of the object; and a partition wall, which extends between the terminal group and the grounding spring pieces along a front-and-rear direction, and is configured to partition the terminal group and the grounding spring pieces.

Connector

A connector, which can mate with an opposing connector in a mating direction, is provided with a first alignment member, a second alignment member, a plurality of first contacts, a plurality of second contacts, a ground member, and a holding member. The first alignment member aligns the first contacts in a pitch direction, and the second alignment member aligns the second contacts in said pitch direction. The ground member has a main section, a locking spring section, and a connecting section. The locking spring section has a locking part that locks to a locking-target part on the opposing connector. The connecting section connects the main section to the locking spring section. The holding member holds the first alignment member, the second alignment member, and the ground member together such that the main section of the ground member is positioned between the first alignment member and the second alignment member.

A connector comprises a pair of contacts of the same shape disposed adjacent to each other and an adjacent contact disposed adjacent to the pair of contacts. The pair of contacts and the adjacent contact have, at their one end, contact portions which are arranged parallel to each other at regular intervals and, at their other end, connecting portions which are arranged parallel to each other at regular intervals. Further, the adjacent contact has a deformed portion at an intermediate portion between the contact portion and the connecting portion so as to be partially away from the pair of contacts. Alternatively, the pair of contacts each may have a deformed portion at an intermediate portion between the contact portion and the connecting portion so as to be partially away from the adjacent contact.

Connector with differential pairs

A connector includes a contact and a shell. The shell includes a tubular shell body portion having a slit portion formed to extend over its entire region in a connector insertion direction, an insertion opening formed at one end of the shell body portion, a locking portion provided on the inner periphery side of the shell body portion, and a shell joining portion formed at a position more on the forward side of the connector insertion direction than a position of the locking portion and joining together opposed portions of the shell body portion divided by the slit portion.

Connector and connector unit

A connector capable of suppressing crosstalk between adjacent different pairs of signal lines on a printed circuit board, and facilitating impedance matching. The connector includes first signal contacts each including a signal terminal portion, second signal contacts each including a signal terminal portion, first ground contacts each including bifurcated terminal portions, second ground contacts each including a terminal portion, and a housing which holds these contacts. Each signal terminal portion, bifurcated terminal portion and terminal portion are mounted on a printed circuit board. Virtual lines connecting terminal portions forming each first terminal portion group form a quadrangle. Virtual lines connecting terminal portions forming each second terminal portion group form a triangle. The first and second terminal portion groups are arranged along a predetermined direction in an alternating manner.
