A polyester film includes a polyester (A) composed mainly of polybutylene terephthalate and a polyester (B) composed mainly of polyethylene terephthalate, wherein a mass ratio (A/B) between the polyesters (A) and (B) is 70/30 to 55/45, a dry heat shrinkage rate (B) through heat treatment at 200° C. for 15 minutes is 35% or less in any of four directions (0°, 45° 90° and 135°) on the film surface, a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of these dry heat shrinkage rates is 5% or less, a thickness variation in the four directions is 10% or less, and a crystallization index shown in DSC measurement is 25 to 55 J/g.

Polyester film and method for producing same

A polyester film comprises a polyester (A) composed mainly of polybutylene terephthalate and a polyester (B) composed mainly of polyethylene terephthalate, wherein a mass ratio (A/B) between the polyesters (A) and (B) is 70/30 to 55/45, a dry heat shrinkage rate (A) through heat treatment at 160° C. for 30 minutes is 20% or less in any of four directions on a film surface (0°, 45°, 90° and 135°), a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of these dry heat shrinkage rates is 5% or less, a dry heat shrinkage rate (B) through heat treatment at 200° C. for 15 minutes is 35% or less in any of the four directions, a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of these dry heat shrinkage rates is 5% or less, and a thickness variation in the four directions is 10% or less.

Provided is a polyamide film which is a stretched film including a polyamide resin composition containing 1 to 10% by mass of a polyester thermoplastic elastomer, wherein the polyamide film satisfies all of the following conditions (A) to (C): (A) elastic moduli in MD and TD of the film are each 1.0 to 2.3 GPa; (B) a ratio between the elastic moduli in MD and TD of the film (MD/TD) is 0.9 to 1.5; and (C) a haze of the film is 7% or less.

A biaxially stretched polyester film, being a biaxially stretched film including a modified polybutylene terephthalate (modified PBT) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET), wherein a mass ratio (modified PBT/PET) between the modified PBT and PET is 20/80 to 5/95, the modified PBT is a PBT containing 5 to 20% by mass of a polytetramethylene glycol unit having a molecular weight of 600 to 4,000, the amount of tetrahydrofuran (THF) generated by heat treating the biaxially stretched film in a helium gas atmosphere at 180&#xb0; C. for 30 minutes is 50 &#x3bc;g/g or less, and the biaxially stretched film has tear linearity in a lengthwise direction thereof.

Biaxially stretched polyester film and method for producing same

Disclosed is a polyamide film coated with a vinylidene chloride copolymer mixture, wherein: on at least one side of a biaxially stretched polyamide film, a vinylidene chloride copolymer mixture layer in which no thermal crosslinking agent is copolymerized is formed by coating without through an intermediary of a primer layer; the vinylidene chloride copolymer mixture is a mixture including two or more vinylidene chloride copolymers; and one of the vinylidene chloride copolymers has a crystal melting point of 170&#xb0; C. or higher and 210&#xb0; C. or lower and is contained in an amount of 25 to 45 parts by mass in relation to 100 parts by mass of the vinylidene chloride copolymer mixture.

Polyamide film coated with vinylidene chloride copolymer mixture and method for producing the same

Disclosed is a highly adhesive polyester film having a highly adhesive primer layer disposed on at least one side of a substrate polyester film. The substrate polyester film is a stretched film having linear tearability and formed of a mixed polyester resin containing polyethylene terephthalate and a modified polybutylene terephthalate, and the highly adhesive primer layer contains a polyester resin (A) having an acid number of 20 to 60 mg KOH/g and a hydroxyl number of 30 to 150 mg KOH/g, and having an oligomer content of 2.0% by mass or less, and substantially contains no crosslinking agent component.

Highly adhesive polyester film and packaging material using the same

Disclosed is an easy adhesion film which attains sufficient adhesiveness in various processings without using any crosslinking agent such as a melamine resin to possibly pollute the environment and has a primer layer excellent in high-temperature hot water resistance. In the easy adhesion film, a coating film including a polyester resin and a crosslinking agent component in a content of 0.1% by mass or less, inclusive of 0% by mass, is formed on at least one side of a substrate film. The sum of the acid number and the hydroxyl number of the polyester resin is 50 to 200 mg KOH/g, wherein the acid number is 20 to 60 mg KOH/g and the hydroxyl number is 30 to 150 mg KOH/g. The amount of the oligomers contained in the polyester is 2.0% by mass or less. The thickness of the coating film is 0.001 to 0.5 &#x3bc;m.

Easy adhesion film

Disclosed is a coating material for forming a gas barrier. The coating material includes a polyalcohol polymer, a polycarboxylic acid polymer, and a divalent or higher-valent metal compound whose surface is coated with a poorly water-soluble component, or alternatively a monovalent metal compound whose surface is coated with a poorly water-soluble component and a divalent or higher-valent metal compound whose surface is coated with a poorly water-soluble component. By applying this coating material to a plastic substrate layer, a gas-barrier multilayer body having a gas-barrier layer formed thereon is obtained.
