There is provided a muffler structure of a saddle-type vehicle. The muffler structure is disposed at a downstream side of an exhaust pipe extending from an exhaust port of a cylinder head. A pipe is connected to the exhaust pipe and inserted into a muffler main body. The pipe is provided with an expansion chamber having an inner diameter that is larger than an inner diameter of the exhaust pipe. At least a part of the expansion chamber is disposed in the muffler main body, and a plurality of through holes are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the expansion chamber disposed in the muffler main body.

Muffler structure of saddle-type vehicle

There is provided a muffler structure of a saddle-type vehicle. The muffler structure is disposed at a downstream side of an exhaust pipe extending from an exhaust port of a cylinder head. A pipe is connected to the exhaust pipe and inserted into a muffler main body. The muffler main body includes a cylindrical portion and a reduced diameter portion joined to a downstream side end portion of the cylindrical portion and having a diameter reduced toward the downstream side thereof. The pipe includes a center pipe passing through the cylindrical portion, and a tail pipe disposed in the reduced diameter portion. An expansion chamber is formed by a space in the reduced diameter portion in the vicinity of the tail pipe.

An installation structure of an exhaust gas sensor includes: two exhaust pipes on a downstream side of a multi-cylinder engine; a collecting pipe configured to collect the two exhaust pipes; and an exhaust gas sensor installed in the collecting pipe. Outlets of the two exhaust pipes are connected to the collecting pipe so as to be adjacent to each other. In the collecting pipe, the exhaust gas sensor is installed at a position away from the outlets of the two exhaust pipes in a direction orthogonal to a direction in which the outlets of the two exhaust pipes are adjacent to each other in a sectional view.

Installation structure of exhaust gas sensor

A vehicle exhaust device includes a muffler body that has an interior space divided into a plurality of expansion chambers by a partition wall, and an exhaust control valve that switches an exhaust passage in the muffler body. The exhaust passage includes a first exhaust passage and a second exhaust passage. The first exhaust passage connects an upstream end and a downstream end of the muffler body straight. The second exhaust passage passes through the plurality of expansion chambers via a connecting pipe that connects the plurality of expansion chambers. A center of the first exhaust passage is located above a center of the muffler body in a vehicle upper-lower direction, and the second exhaust passage is located below the first exhaust passage.

Vehicle exhaust device

There is provided an exhaust device. An exhaust pipe is connected to an engine for a vehicle. A chamber is connected to a downstream side of the exhaust pipe. At least two catalysts arranged in a vehicle front-rear direction in the chamber. A connection pipe connects the two catalysts with each other. The connection pipe is provided with punching holes.

Exhaust device

An exhaust control device for engine configures an exhaust system by joining exhaust pipes at a collecting pipe. The exhaust pipes are coupled to a plurality of respective cylinders. At least two types of exhaust valves are configured to perform an exhaust control at different parts in the exhaust system. The exhaust control device for engine includes first exhaust valves, a second exhaust valve, and an actuator. The first exhaust valves are mounted to a plurality of communicating pipes and communicating the predetermined exhaust pipes. The second exhaust valve is mounted to the collecting pipe. The actuator is configured to drive to open and close the second exhaust valve. The first exhaust valves are configured to be driven to open and close corresponding to an actuating region of the second exhaust valve.

Exhaust control device for engine

An exhaust gas sensor arrangement structure includes a catalyst which purifies exhaust gas of an engine; and exhaust gas sensors which detect an exhaust gas component of the engine; the catalyst is provided under the engine; and the exhaust gas sensors are provided within a width of the engine in a front/rear direction so that the catalyst is provided between the exhaust gas sensors at front and rear sides of the catalyst.

Exhaust gas sensor arrangement structure

An exhaust pipe valve system of an internal combustion engine includes: a plurality of exhaust pipe valves; and an actuator unit being an operation unit which performs an opening/closing operation of the exhaust pipe valves, wherein: the operation unit includes a first pulley and a second pulley being at least two operation parts which are connected to the plural exhaust pipe valves via wire cables respectively to open/close the exhaust pipe valves; and at least one of the operation parts has a non-operating area in which the operation part does not cause the corresponding cable to work in a predetermined operating range of the operation unit.
