To provide an endoscope or the like that can reuse an image sensor or the like. An endoscope includes: an imaging unit including an image sensor and an optical component that forms an image of light incident from a first end surface on the image sensor; a cable inserted into an insertion portion and having a first end connected to the imaging unit; an exterior cylinder covering a connected portion between the imaging unit and the cable; and a distal tip piece in which a housing portion having a shape fitted with a shape of the exterior cylinder is provided and which is arranged at a distal tip of the insertion portion.

An endoscope has an insertion portion with a simple configuration. The endoscope is an endoscope having an insertion portion and an operation unit connected to one end of the insertion portion. The insertion portion includes a tube provided with a plurality of channels penetrating in a longitudinal direction, an operation unit connected to one end of the tube, and a distal tip that covers another end of the tube and smoothly communicates with a part of the plurality of channels.

A single use endoscope device which is inserted inside a subject includes: a distal end portion which includes at least an imaging element; an operation unit which operates an operation of the endoscope device; a curved portion which can be curved inside the subject by operating the operation unit; a fractured portion which detaches the distal end portion from the curved portion; and a soft portion which is extended from the operation unit to the curved portion. The distal end portion, the curved portion and the soft portion are inserted in the subject, the operation unit, the curved portion, and the soft portion are discarded after use of the endoscope device, and the distal end portion and at least the imaging element included in the distal end portion are reused.
