A scanner controller has an acceleration/deceleration computation unit configured to perform an acceleration/deceleration control for an instructed speed and controls a laser output power depending on the instructed speed and a result of the acceleration/deceleration control. This scanner controller further has a robot deceleration rate computation/determination unit configured to externally output information on a speed after being subjected to the acceleration/deceleration control.

Scanner controller, robot controller, and remote laser welding robot system

A laser machining robot system that simplifies programming of a scanner operation is provided. A laser machining robot system includes a robot controller that controls a robot that performs remote laser machining and a scanner controller that controls a scanner. The robot controller includes: a machining information input unit that inputs machining information; a G-code generation unit that generates a G-code program using the machining information; and a G-code communication unit that transmits the G-code program to the scanner controller. The scanner controller includes a scanner program processing unit that applies the G-code program as a scanner operation program for operating the scanner.

Laser machining robot system

A laser machining system includes: a scanner that scans a laser beam L along a predetermined radiation path and at a predetermined radiation speed; a robot that moves the scanner along a predetermined moving path and at a predetermined move speed; a robot controller that controls the moving path and the move speed of the robot; and a scanner controller that controls the radiation path and the radiation speed of the scanner. The scanner controller determines whether the predetermined radiation path exceeds a radiation range of the scanner within a radiation time of the predetermined radiation path and transmits a determination result to the robot controller as radiation range determination information. The robot controller changes the predetermined move speed to be decelerated on the basis of the radiation range determination information received from the scanner controller.

Laser machining system

A laser machining device includes a scanner head which can scan a laser beam, a movement means for the scanner head, a scanner head control device and a movement control device. In the laser machining device, the scanner head control device controls, based on a machining parameter on a path motion, the scanner head such that the laser beam is scanned in a first direction and a second direction, the scanner head control device includes a distance calculation portion which calculates, from the information of an angle &#x3b8; formed by a normal to an item to be machined from the scanner head and the direction of application of the laser beam and a focal length, a difference between a desired machining distance and an actual machining distance and based on the result of the calculation, the movement control device corrects the feedrate of the movement means or the scanner head control device corrects the machining parameter such that the desired machining distance and the actual machining distance are made equal to each other.

Laser machining device

The gap control axis following speed calculating unit of a numerical controller controlling a laser processing machine calculates a gap control axis following speed based on a displacement amount obtained from a separation distance and a reference distance between a nozzle tip and a workpiece, and a gap control gain. A first determining unit determines that the nozzle tip has entered an approach side when the separation distance becomes smaller than the reference distance. A first changing unit changes the gap control gain continuously in accordance with the displacement amount.
