A working machine may include: a first blade; a second blade overlapping with the first blade in an up-down direction; and a holding unit configured to hold the first blade and the second blade overlapping each other in the up-down direction. The first blade may be configured to reciprocate in a direction perpendicular to the up-down direction with respect to the second blade. The first blade may include a first elongated hole having a longitudinal direction along the reciprocating direction. The second blade may include a second elongated hole having a longitudinal direction along the reciprocating direction. The holding unit may include: a holding part inserted in the first elongated hole of the first blade and the second elongated hole of the second blade; and an outer sleeve having a cylindrical shape and supported by the holding part such that the outer sleeve is rotatable around the holding part.

Working machine and blade unit

A working machine may include: a conversion mechanism configured to convert motion of a prime mover; a first blade connected to the conversion mechanism; a second blade overlapping with the first blade in an up-down direction and facing a first facing surface of the first blade; a sealing member engaged with a first non-facing surface of the first blade that is opposite to the first facing surface, wherein the sealing member includes a first sealing surface facing the first non-facing surface in the up-down direction; and a cover member facing a second sealing surface of the sealing member that is opposite to the first sealing surface of the sealing member. The sealing member may be disposed forward of the conversion mechanism and configured to suppress the object cut with the first blade and the second blade from moving toward the conversion mechanism between the first blade and the cover member.

Reciprocating blades with sealing member for motion conversion mechanism

An impact tool includes a motor, a rotating shaft rotationally driven by the motor, a swinging member that swings in an axial direction of a tool bit by rotation of the rotating shaft, a tool driving mechanism connected to an end region of the swinging member in a direction transverse to the axis of the rotating shaft. The tool driving mechanism is moved rectilinearly in the axial direction of the tool bit by swinging movement of the swinging member thereby rectilinearly driving the tool bit. A vibration reducing member reduces vibration caused in the axial direction of the tool bit during operation of the tool bit. The vibration reducing member is disposed on an opposite side of a rectilinear working axis of the tool bit from the rotating shaft and connected to a connecting part between the swinging member and the tool driving mechanism so as to be driven.
