A fuel injection controller has terminals which can be connected to the coil of the fuel injector. A first valve-open control portion supplies the valve-opening voltage to the terminals for opening the fuel injector. The first valve-open control portion stops supplying the electric supply to the coil before the fuel injector is positioned at a full-open position. Before the fuel injector is fully closed, a small injection quantity can be obtained. A demagnetization portion forms a demagnetization circuit for demagnetizing the magnetism remaining in the coil. A normal-injection portion controls the fuel injector at full-open position.

A foreign matter sensing device includes a first determiner that determines whether there is a foreign matter in a foreign matter detection range based on an image imaged by an imaging portion, and a second determiner that determines whether there is a foreign matter in the foreign matter detection range based on a temperature sensed by a temperature sensor. The second determiner executes determining whether there is a foreign matter in the foreign matter detection range while electric-power is transferred between a vehicle-side coil and an out-of-vehicle coil, when the first determiner determines that there is no foreign matter after the imaging portion images the image of the foreign matter detection range in response to a start demand instructing to start transferring electric-power.

Foreign matter sensing device and non-contact electric-power transfer system

An electronic device includes: a substrate having multiple terminal lands and multiple through holes; an electric element including multiple terminals coupled with respective terminal lands and a body on the substrate; and an auxiliary member for assisting fixation between the electric element and the substrate. The auxiliary member includes a base fixed to the body and multiple leg portions extending from the base and inserted into respective corresponding through holes. The leg portions include a pair of locking parts, each having a latch and a spring. The latch is disposed on an insertion end of the leg portion, and is latched around the through hole on the substrate. The spring is deformable when the latch is inserted into the through hole. The pair of locking parts are inserted into two different through holes, respectively.

A retaining member includes at least a leg portion having a latch portion, a coupling portion and a spring portion. When the spring portion is displaced, the coupling portion is twisted. Then, the latch portion and the coupling portion are inserted into the opening so that an electric component is retained on a main face of the substrate. In this state, a part of the latch portion is disposed at the periphery of the opening on a rear face of the substrate, a part of the coupling portion is disposed in the opening, and the spring portion is disposed on the main face of the substrate. Therefore, the retaining strength of the electric component to the substrate can be improved, and damage of a side wall of the opening can be decreased.

The casing houses the printed circuit board and a part of the connector in such a manner that the other part of the connector protrudes to an outside of the casing. The casing has a casing-side recess portion and a casing-side protruding portion that are connected each other to have a loop shape. The housing has a connector-side protruding portion and a connector-side recess portion that are connected to each other to have a loop shape. The connector-side protruding portion is fitted into the casing-side recess portion through the sealing member and the casing-side protruding portion is fitted into the connector-side recess portion through the sealing member.

An electronic component mounting structure includes a board and an electronic component mounted on a surface of the board. The board includes lands. The electronic component includes a body and terminals extending from the body. Each terminal is electrically connected to a corresponding one of the lands of the board. The terminal has a first terminal portion extending along the surface of the board and a second terminal portion extending toward the surface of the board. Each land includes a land portion electrically soldered to the first terminal portion and a blind hole for receiving the second terminal portion. The first terminal portion is soldered to the land portion in a reflow process under the condition that the second terminal portion is inserted in the blind hole.

The housing has a housing-side fixing part and a housing-side engaging part. The case-side fixing part engages with the housing-side fixing part for fixing the housing to the case. The case-side engaging part engages with the housing-side engaging part for restricting the portion of the case adjacent to the opening portion from separating from the housing.

An electronic apparatus is disclosed that includes a board and an electronic component having a body. The board has multiple through-holes and multiple lands covering multiple through-holes. The electronic component has multiple terminals. The terminals are respectively coupled with the lands while a part of each terminal being inserted into a through-hole. A shape of the through-hole is generally circular and different from a part of the land on a back surface of the board. The part of the land on the back surface has a width and the width is different in directions.

A ball grid array includes: a semiconductor chip having multiple pads; and an interposer for mounting the semiconductor chip on a first surface. The interposer includes multiple wirings on the first surface and multiple ball terminals on a second surface opposite to the first surface. Each wiring is connected to a corresponding pad of the semiconductor chip, and is electrically connected to a corresponding ball terminal. At least one of ball terminals providing a power supply terminal or a ground terminal provides a common ball terminal for connecting to at least two of the pads of the semiconductor chip through two wirings.

In a knock sensor signal processing apparatus, a first apparatus which receives an engine knock sensor signal performs A/D conversions of the signal with a predetermined period and transmits successive pluralities of A/D values in parallel, by serial data communication, to a second apparatus in response to respective commands received from the second apparatus. The number of communication lines provided for transmitting the A/D values is made greater than those for transmitting commands from the second apparatus to the first apparatus, so that a high A/D conversion frequency together with low data rate of transmitting the A/D values can be achieved, thereby reducing communication-generated noise.
