A connector includes: a casing that has a housing space, a through hole communicating the housing space with an external space, and an electric wire insertion hole, and that holds a connection terminal connected to a counterpart device; a wiring material that has a distal end part inserted into the housing space via the electric wire insertion hole and a conductor part exposed from a covering at the distal end part, the exposed conductor part being curved at a curved part and connected to the connection terminal; and a conductive voltage detection terminal that has a connection part connected to the exposed conductor part at a position closer to the covering than a curved part and a voltage detection part facing the through hole, and that is provided by branching from a conduction path between the connection terminal and the conductor part.

A terminal connecting structure includes a male terminal having a rod-shaped portion, a female terminal having a cylindrical portion, and an elastic member provided in the cylindrical portion. The female terminal has indented portions. A projecting portion is provided on one of the rod-shaped portion and a central portion of the cylindrical portion. A cut-out portion is provided on the other of the rod-shaped portion and the central portion of the cylindrical portion. The projecting portion fits the cut-out portion when the male terminal fits in the female terminal.

Terminal connecting structure

A terminal connecting structure includes a male terminal having a plated columnar rod portion, a female terminal having a cylindrical portion configured to receive the rod portion of the male terminal therein, and an elastic member attached to the cylindrical portion of the female terminal. The elastic member energizes the rod portion toward an inner surface of the cylindrical portion when the rod portion is inserted into the cylindrical portion. The female terminal has a plurality of projection portions protruding inward from respective regions located at both sides of a central portion of the inner surface of the cylindrical portion as seen from a front view. A tip end of each of the plurality of projection portions has a curved surface which is concave toward an outer side of the cylindrical portion.

A connection terminal includes a terminal main body, a contact member, a locking structure, and a position adjustment structure. The terminal main body is electrically conductive and includes a female connector. The contact member is disposed, in a first region of an internal space of the female connector, to face an inner circumferential surface of the female connector. The locking structure holds the contact member at a position thereof after completion of housing of the contact member in the internal space. The position adjustment structure adjusts the position of the contact member in the internal space. The position adjustment structure includes a locked holder disposed in the contact member and a locking holder disposed in the terminal main body.

Connection terminal

A connection terminal includes a terminal main body having a female connector provided with an internal space into which a male connector is inserted and a contact member accommodated into the internal space. The contact member has at least one first locked part and at least one second locked part. The female connector has a first locking part that is arranged on a side in an insertion direction of the male connector and locks the movement of the first locked part in the insertion direction, and a second locking part that is arranged on a side opposite to the side in the insertion direction relative to the second locked part of the contact member after the completion of being accommodated and locks the movement of the second locked part in a removal direction in order to maintain the accommodated state of the contact member.

A connection terminal includes a conductive terminal main body having a female connection body, and a contact member arranged to oppose an inner circumferential surface of the female connection body in one region of an internal space. A first bulging body and a second bulging body protruding from the inner circumferential surface and electrically connected to a male connection body by sandwiching the male connection body with the contact member are provided in the other region of the internal space. The second bulging body has a first guide portion guiding the male connection body while sliding the male connection body, and a second guide portion guiding the contact member while sliding the contact member. Each of the first and second guide portions is formed in a tapered shape.

A female terminal assembly includes: a female terminal body in which a male terminal receiving space is formed internally; and a cylindrical spring contact which is received in the male terminal receiving space from a male terminal insertion side of the female terminal body. A lock portion formed at a male terminal insertion-side end portion of the spring contact is fixed to a male terminal insertion-side end portion of the female terminal body.

Female terminal assembly

A connector includes a housing, a terminal supported inside the housing and having a hollow cylindrical body and a wire connection portion provided on one side of the hollow cylindrical body, an insulating member inserted in the hollow cylindrical body and having, at a front end of the insulating member, a head portion protruding from a front end of the terminal, and a ring attached to a rear end portion of the insulating member protruding from a rear end of the hollow cylindrical body. An outer surface of the rear end portion of the insulating member has a stepped portion on which the ring abuts to restrict a movement of the insulating member in a direction towards the head portion.

Connector

A female terminal includes a conductive terminal body having a cylindrical portion to which a mating male terminal is to be inserted, and a cylindrical elastic contact member configured to apply a contact pressure to the male terminal when the male terminal is inserted into the terminal body. The elastic contact member comprises a plurality of contact portions which are partitioned by slits extending in an axial direction of the cylindrical portion and the plurality of contact portions are curved toward inside the cylindrical portion. A front end portion of the elastic contact member, to which the male terminal is to be inserted, is connected to the cylindrical portion while a rear end portion of the elastic contact member is made a free end.

A connector includes: a female terminal housing provided with a terminal receiving cavity receiving a female terminal; and a male terminal housing retaining a male terminal to be connected to the female terminal. The male and female terminal housings have first and second engagement portions. The male and female terminal housings are fitted in a first fitting position by the first engagement portion. The male and female terminal housings are fitted in a second fitting position by the second engagement portion. The first fitting position is a position in which the locking hole of the female terminal is engaged with the lance of the terminal receiving cavity, and in which the male terminal is not in sliding contact with the female terminal. The second fitting position is a position in which the male terminal is in sliding contact with the female terminal.

There is provided a press-connecting tool by which the deformation of a sheath of a wire, as well as the loosening of a conductor of the wire, is prevented at the time of the press-connecting operation so as to keep the conductor in good contact with a press-connecting blade, thereby increasing a wire holding force and also stabilizing a contact resistance. In the press-connecting tool of the invention, a pair of opposed crush prevention walls for preventing the wire from being crushed in the press-connecting direction during the press-connecting operation extend downwardly from each of opposite lower ends of the arcuate pressing portion. The crush prevention walls and the arcuate pressing portion, which jointly form a wire pressing groove for receiving the wire, can contact a sheath of the wire at least over a half of an outer peripheral length of the sheath.
