A fluid machinery such as helical compressor includes a sliding mechanism comprising one side member composed, in combination, of a metallic base member having a sliding surface and a lubrication film formed on the sliding surface in a close contact thereto, and a counterpart side member containing fluorocarbon resin in an amount of at least 50 wt. %. The lubrication film includes a solid lubricant having a self-lubrication property and a binder of resin material.

A fluid machinery includes a helical mechanism connected to a driving mechanism, which is driven via a crank shaft. The helical mechanism includes a cylinder defining an inner space, a roller disposed inside the cylinder so as to be rotated in an eccentric manner, the roller being formed with a plurality of helical grooves on an outer peripheral surface, and at least one seal ring groove between respective helical grooves, a plurality of helical blades fitted to the helical grooves so as to be disposed between as inner peripheral surface of the cylinder and the outer peripheral surface of the roller, and at least one seal ring fitted to the seal ring groove so as to tightly seal the inner space as a plurality of operation sections. In a helical compressor, a helical compression unit is accommodated in the case. The compression unit has a cylinder, a roller eccentrically disposed in the cylinder and a helical blade disposed between an inner surface of the cylinder and the roller for separately forming a plurality of compression chambers therebetween along an axial direction of the roller. A motor unit is accommodated in the case and is operatively connected to the helical compression unit through a rotating shaft for eccentrically rotating the roller in the cylinder through the rotating shaft. According to the rotation of the roller, compressive fluid sucked into a lower compression chamber is moved along an axial direction of the rotating shaft while being sequentially compressed. The helical compression unit and the motor unit is arranged so that the helical compression unit and the motor unit are partially overlapped to each other along the axial direction.

Helical compressor and method of assembling the same

A fluid compressor comprises a sealing case, an oil reservoir formed to an inner bottom portion of the sealing case, in an installed state, for storing an lubricating oil and a compression mechanism having a helical blade structure housed in the sealing case. The compression mechanism comprises a cylinder, a rotating member arranged in the cylinder so as to perform eccentric motion and a helical blade interposed between the rotating member and the cylinder for defining a plurality of partitioned compression chambers. The fluid compressor further comprises an electric motor unit housed inside the sealing casing in operative connection to the compression mechanism. The compression mechanism has a vertical structure in which the fluid is compressed and transferred in a perpendicular direction in the installed state. The compression mechanism is provided with a sucking portion for the fluid to be compressed to a portion below the rotating member, the rotating member is provided with an end surface located on the side of the sucking portion for defining a thrust surface which is supported by a bearing, and the thrust surface of the rotating member is immersed in the lubricating oil supplied from the oil reservoir.

Fluid compressor

A fluid compressor has a sealed case, an electric motor section, and a compression section. Both sections are provided in the sealed case, with their axes extending substantially horizontally. The sealed case is filled with lubricant. At the start of the compressor, the rotational speed N of the electric motor section is gradually increased, but maintained at least once at a prescribed value for a predetermined period. At the stop of the compressor, the rotational speed N is gradually decreased, but maintained at least once at a prescribed value for a predetermined period.

A fluid compressor includes a piston which has a vertical longitudinal axis. A plurality of working chambers are provided between a cylinder and the piston, and are constituted by upper working chambers and lower working chambers which separated from each other by a center portion of the piston. A fluid compressor having a rotational force transmitting mechanism. The mechanism comprises an Oldam portion, an Oldam ring and a second cylinder gearing. The Oldam portion is integral with a piston. The Oldam ring has a first pair of key grooves and a second pair of key grooves. The key grooves of the first pair extend at right angles to those of the second pair. The second cylinder bearing is fitted in the cylinder and has two projections fitted in the key grooves of the second pair. The Oldam ring is made of silicon nitride ceramic.

The dimensions of the parts of the compressor are determined such that an upward thrust force acting on the piston is substantially equal to or slightly greater than the total weight of rotational parts including the piston and a cylinder. A fluid compressor having a cylinder, columnar rotating body, first and second spiral grooves, first and second recessed grooves, first and second spiral blades slidable in a radial direction of the columnar rotating body and fitted in the first and second spiral grooves. A drive means is provided for causing a rotational movement of the cylinder and the columnar rotating body synchronously with each other. Stoppers extend from the cylinder into first and second recessed grooves whose wall portions are located adjacent to a respective first turn of the second and first spiral grooves and advanced by 180.degree. from a respective second and first spiral grooves. The first and second stoppers engage respective end portions of the spiral blades during the rotational movements of the cylinder and the columnar rotating body. With this arrangement of the wall portions of the first and second recessed grooves, interference between adjacent first and second grooves is prevented and refrigerating gas compressed in an operating chamber does not leak or return to a first suction port provided in a central portion of the columnar rotating body.

A fluid compressor comprises a cylinder and a columnar rotating body synchronously rotated by a drive means, The rotational movement of the cylinder and the columnar rotating body is supported by a pair of roller bearing assemblies. A clearance is provided between the roller bearing assemblies and bearing members to allow fluid from the compression chambers to pass into an interior of the casing of the compressor. With the arrangement of roller bearing assemblies at the ends of cylinder and columnar rotational body combinations, a large diameter of the cylinder is possible and thus high compression efficiency of the fluid compressor is achieved.

There is provided a fluid compressor having a horizontal rotation axis. An oil reservoir for a lubrication oil is provided within a sealed casing. A cylinder having both end opening portions rotatably supported by bearings is housed within the casing. A rotor piston is eccentrically supported within the cylinder. A helical blade is wound around the outer periphery of the piston such that it can project from and retreat in the outer periphery of the piston. The cylinder and the piston are coupled by an Oldham mechanism. A gas is taken in a compression chamber defined by the cylinder, piston and blade, and it is compressed. The compressor is provided with a pump member, e.g. a trochoid pump, actuated by the rotation of the piston. The lubrication oil is sucked from the oil reservoir and supplied to slide portions.

A fluid compressor including a sealed case having an oil bank in which oil is held, a cylinder arranged in the sealed case, a rotation body eccentrically arranged in the cylinder, a main shaft and a sub-shaft formed at each of axial end portions of the rotation body, a spiral groove formed on a periphery thereof such that a pitch of the spiral groove gradually decreases from the sub-shaft side to the main shaft side, a spiral blade engaged with the groove such as to be able to project therefrom or retreat therein, a main bearing and a sub-bearing for eccentrically supporting the cylinder and the rotation body, and a suction hole provided in the rotation body for allowing an operation fluid having a low pressure before compression to flow from the main shaft side to the sub-shaft side so as to introduce the fluid into an inner space of the cylinder, the cylinder and the rotation body rotated relatively with each other so as to transport the operation fluid from the sub-shaft side to the main shaft side for compression.
