Disclosed is a display control device mounted in a vehicle and including: an irradiation control unit for controlling an irradiating unit that irradiates a road surface with reference light; and a projection control unit for controlling a projecting unit that projects an image onto a reflecting unit that reflects the image, in which the irradiation control unit instructs the irradiating unit to perform irradiation with the reference light, the irradiation corresponding to set irradiation distance information, and the projection control unit instructs the projecting unit to perform projection of an image in such a way that a virtual image corresponding to the irradiation distance information is visually recognized by an occupant of the vehicle, and also controls either a projection position or a projection size of the image projected by the projecting unit on the basis of an instruction of the occupant.

Display control device

According to a navigation device of the invention, at the time of performing turning guidance for a user who drives a vehicle, it is possible to perform the guidance in a way easy-to-understand for the user. Namely, a presentation of a preceding vehicle is made using an actual image or a graphic image of a vehicle that is the same as the actually seen vehicle, so that the user who drives the vehicle in traveling will understand that he/she only has to follow the preceding vehicle actually traveling ahead. This results in such route guidance that does not cause misunderstanding of a turning point and is very easy-to-understand.

Navigation device

Onboard information device mounted on vehicle to provide information for supporting passenger includes voice acquisition unit that continually detects and acquires voice the passenger utters while the onboard information device is operating; voice recognition unit that recognizes speech contents of the voice the voice acquisition unit acquires; vehicle state detector that detects vehicle state including environmental state in the vehicle, surrounding state of the vehicle or operating state of the vehicle; output controller that creates display data or voice data from the speech contents recognized by the voice recognition unit according to the vehicle state the vehicle state detector detects, and that controls output of the display data or voice data; and output unit that outputs the display data or voice data the output controller creates. It can perform effective conversation support in real time according to recognition result obtained by continually recognizing speech contents of the passenger.

Speech recognizing apparatus

A voice recognition system used for onboard equipment having a genre database (DB) that stores search target vocabularies in accordance with respective genres. It has a mikefor outputting speech sounds as spoken data; a first voice recognition dictionaryfor recognizing words of search target genres in the genre DB; a second voice recognition dictionaryfor recognizing words outside the search target genres; a voice recognition unitfor recognizing the speech sounds by collating the spoken data delivered from the mike with the vocabularies contained in the first and second voice recognition dictionaries; an interactive control unitfor outputting, when a word delivered from the voice recognition unit as a recognition result is a word obtained using the second voice recognition dictionary, a message so stating as presentation information; and a presentation unitfor presenting the presentation information to an outside.
