A method for removing keratotic plugs capable of sufficiently exhibiting an excellent keratotic plug-removing effect without a burden, such as pam and of irritation, on the skin. The method comprises applying a composition comprising (X) one or more selected from (X1) 2-amino-2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-propanediol, (X2) 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol, and (X3) 2-amino-2-methyl-1,3-propanediol and a nonionic surfactant to the skin.

Method for removing keratotic plugs

Provided is a method for removing keratotic plugs capable of sufficiently exhibiting an excellent keratotic plug-removing effect without a burden, such as pain and of irritation, on the skin. The present invention relates to a method for removing keratotic plugs comprising using a composition comprising (X) one or more selected from the group consisting of (X1) 2-amino-2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-propanediol (X2), 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol, and (X3) 2-amino-2-methyl-1,3-propanediol.

Provided is a surfactant composition which includes high concentrations of a surfactant, has fluidity in a wide concentration range, and does not become clouded when diluted with hard water. This surfactant composition includes component A, component B, and component C described below, wherein a total content of the component A and the component B is 35 to 80% by mass and wherein the component A is at least one sulfonate compound selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyalkane sulfonate and an olefin sulfonate, the component B is a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether, and the component C is water.

Surfactant composition

The present invention provides a surfactant composition which includes a surfactant at a high concentration, while having fluidity over a wide concentration range. A surfactant composition according to the present invention contains the components A, B, C and D described below, and is configured such that: the total content of the components A, B and C is from 30% by mass to 80% by mass (inclusive); the mass ratio of the total content of the components A and B to the content of the component C, namely (A+B)/C is from 20/80 to 80/20; and the mass ratio of the content of the component A to the content of the component B, namely A/B is from 98/2 to 45/55. A: an internal olefin sulfonic acid and/or a salt thereof; B: an anionic surfactant other than the component A; C: a nonionic surfactant; D: water.

The present invention provides the softener composition containing the specific quaternary ammonium salts (I) and (II) each having a bis(polyalkoxyalkanol) structure, represented by the formulae (I) and (II) respectively, at a weight ratio of (I):(II) of 50.1:49.9 to 99.99:0.01.

Thickener

To provide a surfactant composition with an excellent foamability and thickening performance and further an excellent storage stability, it comprises the following components (a) and (b): (a) at least one anionic surfactant selected from (1) sulfonate-type anionic surfactants having amide group or ester group, (2) carboxylate-type anionic surfactants and (3) phosphate-type anionic surfactants and (b) a compound expressed by the formula (I):where RCO&#x2014; is an acyl group having 6 to 24 carbon atoms, Ris an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and Ris an alkylene group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an alkenylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms.
