An antenna device includes a casing including an inner surface including connected first and second regions with a corner therebetween. A first antenna opposes the first region with a gap therebetween, and a second antenna opposes the second region with a gap therebetween. A first waveguide extends from the first antenna toward the first region, and a second waveguide extends from the second antenna toward the second region. In a perpendicular projection of an end surface of the first waveguide closest to the first antenna on a plane including the first region, an end surface of the waveguide closest to the inner surface is adjacent to the first corner. In a perpendicular projection of an end surface of the second waveguide closest to the second antenna on a plane including the second region, an end surface of the second waveguide closest to the inner surface is adjacent to the corner.

Antenna device and communication device

A ground plane is disposed on or in an inner layer of a dielectric substrate. Moreover, a feed line is disposed on or in the dielectric substrate. A first antenna element and a second antenna element are supported on the dielectric substrate. The first antenna element and the second antenna element include a first radiating element and a second radiating element connected to the feed line, respectively, and are disposed on a same side when seen from the ground plane. With a height of the ground plane being a reference, a top portion of the second antenna element is located higher than a top portion of the first antenna element. There is provided an antenna device of which the band can be expanded and of which the internal space of the casing can be effectively utilized.

An antenna module includes a base member, an antenna that includes a radiating element disposed in or on the base member, first and second feed lines each of which is connected to the radiating element, and a control circuit that is connected to the radiating element via the first feed line and the second feed line. The control circuit includes a signal processing circuit that is connected to the antenna via the first feed line and the second feed line and an antenna inspection circuit that checks an electrical conductivity of an electrical conduction path connecting the first feed line, the radiating element, and the second feed line to one another.

Antenna module and method for inspecting antenna module

A patch antenna is constituted by a radiation element disposed on a substrate and a ground conductor disposed in the substrate. A dielectric member is disposed to cover the radiation element and a body of a resin material is disposed to cover the dielectric material as viewed from above. The dielectric member is disposed on a side opposite a side on which the ground conductor is disposed as viewed from the radiation element. When a direction of a normal line to the radiation element is assumed as a height direction, a line which links centroids of horizontal sectional surfaces of the dielectric member in the height direction leans with respect to the direction of the normal line to the radiation element.

Antenna device and communication apparatus

A feed element for feeding power is disposed on a substrate. A first parasitic element is disposed at a position different from a position of the feed element as viewed from above and is electromagnetically coupled with the feed element. A dielectric member is disposed at a position at which the dielectric member at least partially covers the feed element and the first parasitic element as viewed from above. A conductive pattern is disposed on a surface of the dielectric member which faces the feed element at a position at which the conductive pattern matches the first parasitic element as viewed from above. The dielectric member is supported by the substrate as a result of the conductive pattern being electrically connected to the first parasitic element.

Antenna device

A patch antenna is constituted by a radiation element disposed on a substrate and a ground conductor disposed in the substrate. A dielectric member is disposed to at least partially cover the radiation element as viewed from above. The dielectric member is disposed on a side opposite a side on which the ground conductor is disposed as viewed from the radiation element. When a direction of a normal line to the radiation element is assumed as a height direction and when an imaginary plane perpendicular to the height direction is assumed as a reference plane, the dielectric member has a side surface which tilts with respect to the reference plane. The dielectric member has no focal point for a radio wave entering the dielectric member in parallel with the height direction.

An antenna device includes a substrate, a first antenna element extending in a direction perpendicular to a first surface of the substrate and functioning as a monopole antenna, a second antenna element provided adjacent to the first antenna element, extending in the direction perpendicular to the first surface of the substrate, and functioning as a monopole antenna, a ground layer provided in or on the substrate, a connection wire provided in or on the substrate and connecting the first antenna element and the second antenna element to each other, a power feeding line provided in or on the substrate and connected to the connection wire, and a first reflector provided in a direction in which the first antenna element and the second antenna element are adjacent to each other and facing the first antenna element and the second antenna element.
