A headway control device includes: a delay time receiving unit that receives identification information and a delay time of each train within a control range; a target traveling time calculating unit that identifies a train to be controlled on the basis of the delay time, determines an order in which trains travel in a traveling direction by using the identification information, identifies a preceding train and a following train on the basis of the order, and calculates a target traveling time of the train to be controlled in a travel section in which the train to be controlled travels next by using a normal traveling time, the delay time of the train to be controlled, the delay time of the preceding train, and the delay time of the following train; and a target traveling time transmitting unit that transmits the target traveling time to the train to be controlled.

Headway control device

A train control apparatus includes a setting reception unit that receives setting information regarding a temporary speed limit section and a speed limit. A control unit generates temporary speed limit information for the trains. A communication unit transmits the temporary speed limit information to the trains. If information regarding all temporary speed limit sections cannot be included in the temporary speed limit information, the control unit includes, in the temporary speed limit information, information regarding a specified number of temporary speed limit sections located on a traveling direction side, and changes a speed limit in one or more temporary speed limit sections included in the temporary speed limit information on the basis of a speed limit set in a temporary speed limit section that is adjacent to a temporary speed limit section included in the temporary speed limit information, and is not included in the temporary speed limit information.

Train control apparatus and train control method

A train presence detection apparatus includes an information acquisition unit to acquire position information on a first end point and a second end point located in a first line section formed in a loop and virtual block presence/absence information indicating whether a virtual block indicating a specific position in the first line section is included in a designated section that is any of a first section and a second section in which the first end point and the second end point are located at both ends; a designated section determination unit to determine which of the first section and the second section is the designated section based on the position information on the first end point and the second end point and the virtual block presence/absence information; and a presence determination unit to determine whether a train is present in the designated section.

Train presence detection apparatus

A train position detecting device includes: a GPS position guarantee range calculation part for calculating, based on a result of measurement of a position of a train by GPS signals; a tachogenerator-position guarantee range calculation part for calculating, based on a result of measurement of a position of the train by a tachometer generator that measures a relative distance from a measurement carried out previously; and a position determination part that determines, between an end part of the GPS position guarantee range in the first-direction and an end part of the tachogenerator-position guarantee range in the first-direction, a position of an end part on the positive side of the second direction to be a position of the end part of the train in the first-direction.

Train position detecting device

A next station state estimating unit estimates a preceding train position from information about a stop track circuit of a current train and from a signal aspect table. It estimates the time, at which the preceding train exits the next station and brake pattern before the station is canceled, from information about the preceding train position, from information about the occupied track circuit on which the current train is present and related information between track circuits and a station and information about occupied duration of the station, which are retained in a track database, and from a history of the preceding train position retained in a history retaining unit. The time estimated is sent to a driver's cab by a communication unit.
