A data acquisition device includes an integrated circuit and an information processor. The integrated circuit has a first terminal for receiving a master/slave switching signal upon start of data acquisition, an ADC for converting analog input data to digital data, and an output terminal for outputting the digital data. The information processor generates the master/slave switching signal, and has a second terminal connected to the first terminal and for outputting the master/slave switching signal, and an input terminal connected to the output terminal and for receiving the digital data. The information processor operates in the master mode when the integrated circuit operates in the slave mode. The information processor operates in the slave when the integrated circuit operates in the master mode. The integrated circuit outputs the digital data when operating in the master mode according to the master/slave switching signal.

Data acquisition device and biosensor

An internal device () is implanted in a living body (). A control section () causes a communication section () to wirelessly transmit data corresponding to electroencephalogram signals of the living body () which are detected through a group of N (N is 2 or more) electrodes, to an external device (). When the communication section () receives a designation signal designating a group of M electrode(s) (), M being smaller than N, the communication section () is caused to transmit data corresponding to electroencephalogram signals of the living body () which are detected through the group of M electrode(s) (), to the external device () in real time.

Brain-machine interface system capable of changing amount of communication data from internal device, and control method therefor

A voltage source device for low-voltage operation which sources a desired voltage while minimizing variations in output voltage due to changes in temperature. The voltage source device includes a current source circuit having a temperature characteristic of (1/T)-a and a compensation circuit having a temperature characteristic that includes a term of -1/T, which compensates for the temperature characteristic of the current source circuit. The voltage source device also includes a voltage conversion circuit for converting the power supply current provided by the current source circuit into a power supply voltage and outputting it externally.

Voltage source device for low-voltage operation

An active low-pass filter suitable as a 90.degree. phase shifter circuit is provided which requires few external components when formed as an IC. The current resulting from the input signal outputted from a first impedance element is amplified by a first current amplifier, and the resulting output current is converted by a first converting means to a voltage, which is supplied via a second impedance element to a second current amplifier; the output current of the second current amplifier is converted by a second converting means to a voltage, which is outputted as a filter output, while the current corresponding to the output voltage of the second converting means is negatively fed back into the inputs of the first and second current amplifiers; furthermore, at least the current amplification factor of the first current amplifier is made controllable, thereby permitting the cut-off frequency to be varied arbitrarily.
