A pump includes: a housing in which a pump chamber accommodating an inner rotor and an outer rotor is formed in a pump chamber formation surface, and an O-ring groove is formed around the pump chamber; an O-ring that is placed in the O-ring groove; and a plate that is attached to the pump chamber formation surface and closely contacts the O-ring to close the pump chamber. Inter-hole grooves connecting to an outer edge of the pump chamber formation surface are formed around the O-ring groove.

Pump

An electric pump unit for a transmission, which supplies a hydraulic pressure to the transmission, includes: a pump which takes in and discharges oil; and a pump driving electric motor including a motor shaft connected to the pump, a motor rotor fixedly provided on the motor shaft, and a motor stator disposed around a circumference of the motor rotor. The pump and the electric motor are integrated with a lid that tightly closes an opening in a recess portion which is formed on a transmission housing of the transmission and into which the oil is introduced, and are accommodated within the recess portion.

Electric pump unit

A pump includes a second housing member in which a suction-side groove and a discharge-side groove are formed at a predetermined interval in a circumferential direction of a bottom of a pump chamber so as to be recessed in the bottom of the pump chamber. Fitting portions that are fitted to bosses are formed on an outer surface of the second housing member. A protruding portion, which overlaps with the bosses in a thickness direction, is formed so as to protrude from a surface of the housing on which the fitting portions are formed. A relief valve is provided in the protruding portion, and the relief valve discharges fluid from the discharge-side groove when pressure in the discharge-side groove is equal to or higher than predetermined pressure.

A rotor of an electric motor is provided in which a permanent magnet holding member can be assuredly fixed to a rotor main body and the rotor main body can be easily worked and inexpensively manufactured. In the rotor, a plurality of permanent magnetsare held in a permanent magnet holding membermade of a synthetic resin and fixed to an outer peripheral part of a cylindrical rotor main body. An outer peripheral surface of the rotor main bodyis a cylindrical surface. An electric pump unit includes: a unit housing; a bearing unit provided within the unit housing; a rotary portion; and a motor stator fixed to the unit housing. The rotary portion includes: a pump driving motor shaft supported by the bearing unit such that an axial position of a center of gravity of the rotary portion falls within an axial range of the bearing unit, and a motor rotor. The motor rotor includes: a disc portion which extends radially outwards from an axial end portion of the motor shaft; and a cylindrical portion which extends from an outer circumferential portion of the disc portion towards the other axial end side and surrounds an outer circumference of the bearing unit.

There are provided a tubular stator core having a plurality of tooth portions which protrude radially inwards and slots which are defined between the respective tooth portions and coils which are disposed on circumferences of the tooth portions. An insulator is attached to the stator core from an axial direction thereof for isolating the coils from the stator core. A radius of curvature of a corner portion of the insulator around which the coil is wound decreases continuously as the tooth portion extends from a root portion to a distal portion thereof.

The invention provides an electric motor including a tubular insulator that insulates coils of each of U, V, and W phases that makes a rotor rotated by an electromagnetic force, and a stator core around which the coils are wound; and a plurality of busbars that are fixed to the insulator to relay feed of power to the coils that constitute each phase. Ring-shaped terminals directly connected to an external driving circuit board for controlling a driving current leading to each phase of the coils, without via separate connecting members, are integrally formed in the busbars, respectively.

In an electric pump unit, communication between arcuate ports provided in correspondence with a discharge side and a suction side of an internal gear pump is selectively permitted and prohibited in correspondence with movement of a spool of a relief valve. If fluid pressure at the discharge side of the internal gear pump becomes greater than or equal to a predetermined value, the spool moves across an inner arc of one of the arcuate ports corresponding to the suction side of the internal gear pump and from a position at which the spool prohibits the communication between the arcuate ports to a position at which the spool permits the communication. As the spool moves away from the position at which the spool blocks the communication between the arcuate ports, the opening degree of the relief valve changes in accordance with a downward convex curve.

Plate-shaped projections are provided on a front insulator in such a manner as to project towards a front housing. In addition, projecting pieces are provided on a surface of each projection which confronts an inner circumferential surface of a stator housing. The projecting pieces are provided on each projection in such a manner as to form three rows which are parallel to an inner circumferential direction of the stator housing. Spaces between the respective rows constitute guide paths by which the transition wirings which connect between the coils are disposed on the projection in such a manner as to be spaced apart from each other.

A method of producing a busbar structure includes a busbar arranging step for arranging a plurality of the busbars at predetermined positions in a cavity which is formed between a fixed mold and a movable mold which can be clamped and opened with respect to the fixed mold, and clamping the two molds, a resin filling step for filling molten resin into the cavity in which the busbars have been arranged, and a busbar fixing step for hardening the molten resin which has been filled thereby to fix the busbars at predetermined positions with the hardened resin, and opening the two molds. Interposed pins to be interposed between the busbars which are arranged in close proximity to each other are detachably disposed in an engaged part of the movable mold, and removed from a molded product when the two molds are opened.

The invention relates to an internal gear pump including: a rotor member including an outer rotor provided with inner teeth to which a torque supplied from a driving device is transmittable; an inner rotor provided with outer teeth engageable with the inner teeth of the outer rotor so to be driven by a rotation of the outer rotor, wherein a rotation axis of the inner rotor is eccentric with respect to a center of the rotor member; a pair of housings provided on opposite sides of the rotor member and the inner rotor to support the rotor member and the inner rotor; and at least one rolling bearing provided between at least one of the housings and the rotor member.

In a method of operating an electric motor which drives an auxiliary oil pump for supplying a hydraulic pressure of an ATF to a transmission, only at an idle stop of an engine via a rotation shaft pivotally supported by ball bearings, the electric motor is rotated at a very low speed or in an intermittent manner when an automobile is traveling and the auxiliary oil pump is not used. According to the configuration, the electric motor is slightly rotated during when the automobile is traveling, whereby impressions are prevented from being formed on the ball bearings.

An electronic controlled coupling including a wet-type multiple disc clutch, a coupling case, a hydraulic chamber, an oil pump, an electric motor, an electric control unit, and a supply passage for supplying hydraulic pressure. The coupling case accommodates the wet-type multiple disc clutch and contains oil. The oil pump driven by the electric motor is connected to the coupling case. The outlet of the oil pump is connected to the hydraulic chamber of the wet-type multiple disc clutch with the supply passage therebetween. The electric control unit controls the speed of rotation of the electric motor through a motor driver so that the pump discharge pressure is equal to an operating pressure required for the wet-type multiple disc clutch.
