A photoelectric converter apparatus suitable for use as an optical pattern reader is disclosed. A CCD image sensor receives light reflected from a text having characters or graphic patterns marked thereon and stores charges proportional to the intensity of the reflected light. Unnecessary charges are transferred from the CCD image sensor to the shift register and are swept out during a time period other than a readout period for necessary data. The readout data which exactly reflects the data on the text is produced with a reduced sweep-out period.

Photoelectric converter apparatus

A facsimile apparatus of analog type is disclosed, in which, in order to shorten the transmission time, continuous white lines of the white background of the original are read variably in number during each scanning line period. The information thus read is transmitted to the receiver in synchronism with the scanning line period. At the receiving end, the recording paper is rapidly fed for the scanning line period corresponding to the number of lines representing the received information.

Facsimile system

A photoelectric converter apparatus suited for use in optical pattern reader system comprises a plurality of charge storage type photoelectric conversion elements disposed in a linear array for receiving light reflected from an original such as slip or a bill carrying characters, figures or the like, and storing quantities of electric charges in proportional dependence on the intensity of the reflected light. An additional photoelectric conversion element is also provided for receiving light from a light source illuminating the original and converting the received light into a corresponding electrical signal which is integrated in synchronism with the initiation of the charge storage of the charge storage type photoelectric conversion element assembly. When the integrated signal value has attained a predetermined level, the stored charges are outputted from the charge storage type photoelectric conversion elements. Thus, a stabilized output signal can be obtained even when the luminance of the used light source undergoes variation, because the stored charges are outputted only when the quantity of irradiation light has attained a predetermined reference value. The photoelectric converter apparatus can be implemented in a simple structure.

In recording information patterns on the surface of an article conveyed by a conveyer, a distortion of recorded patterns occurs when the speed of the conveyer varies. In the present invention, the speed of the conveyer is detected to control the collection of dot-forming ink droplets thereby preventing the occurrence of the distortion of the recorded patterns.

Ink jet recording method and apparatus

In the case of writing information on a writing medium, such as the crown cap of a bottle, by the use of an ink drop writing apparatus, the information cannot be written at one selected position because the height of the writing medium varies with the height of the bottle and due to other factors. In emitting and deflecting charged ink drops to effect a writing on a writing medium whose position may vary somewhat, this invention detects the position of the writing medium in the deflecting direction of the charged ink drops with photoelectric means and increases or decreases the amount of deflection of the ink drops in accordance with the detected position of the writing medium. It is, accordingly, possible to write the desired information at precisely the correct position on the writing medium at all times.

Ink drop writing apparatus

An ink jet recording apparatus for recording information pattern on articles transported by a conveyer, by an ink jet recording method. The recording apparatus includes means for preventing the articles from undergoing defective recording even when the transport of the record medium is unexpectedly stopped.

Ink jet recording apparatus

An optical picture recording system is constructed such that the lens is a linear lens, and the linear lens or the cathode ray tube is moved so as to confront the electron beam from the cathode ray tube with the linear lens at all times while, when recording one frame, the recording paper is moved in synchronism with movement of the linear lens or the cathode ray tube.

To prevent a picture of cathode-ray tube, which picture is projected through an optical lens system from being imaged with a deformed shape on a flat plane because of the curved phosphor screen of cathode-ray tube, an optical lens system is provided having imaging characteristics such that the central portion of an image formed thereby is convex toward the optical lens system.

Cathode-ray tube picture projection apparatus

An electrophotographic apparatus in which photosensitive paper travels through a substantially U-shaped path, comprises a base and a frame assembly provided on the base in a freely openable and closeable manner. Those components which require higher accuracy in mutual positioning, such as a paper feeding device, an exposure device, a cathode ray tube, a cathode ray tube optical device, a format and a format optical apparatus, are mounted on the frame assembly, and those components which require less accuracy in mutual positioning, such as a developing device, a motor and the like, are mounted on the base. The respective images from the format and the cathode ray tube are focused on an exposure plane of the exposure device in superimposed relation.
