A terminal includes: a flat surface portion; an extending portion continuous with the flat surface portion; a branch portion continuous with the extending portion and extending in a direction different from that in which the extending portion extends; and rotation stop portions continuous with the branch portion. When the terminal is attached to a bolt protruding from a fixing member and including a seat separated from the fixing member, the flat surface portion contacts the seat, the rotation stop portions extend from the branch portion toward a base end of the bolt in a protruding direction of the bolt, and at least a pair of the rotation stop portions are positioned to sandwich the seat in a direction intersecting the protruding direction to prevent rotation of the terminal with respect to the bolt.

Terminal and terminal fixing structure

A terminal fitting includes a fastening portion and a wire connection portion. The fastening portion is formed with an installation insertion hole through which a fixing member is inserted. The wire connection portion extends from a peripheral edge portion of the fastening portion. A notch is provided in the fastening portion so as to extend along the peripheral edge of an opening of the installation insertion hole and between the installation insertion hole and the wire connection portion. A through hole or a thin recessed portion is formed on the notch at an intersection portion between the notch and an axis in an extending direction of the wire connection portion.

A connection method for a terminal fitting, in which the terminal fitting includes a terminal body and a plurality of terminal connection portions extending from the terminal body, and a pair of fastening caulking pieces of each of connection terminals connected to end portions of electric wires are caulked and connected to a pair of fastened caulking pieces formed in a corresponding one of the terminal connection portions, the connection method includes folding open end portions of the fastened caulking pieces inward respectively to form folded portions and a space between the folded portions so that open end portions of the pair of fastening caulking portions enter the space, and crushing the pair of the fastening caulking pieces to caulk the pair of the fastened caulking pieces so that the open end portions of the pair of the fastening caulking pieces enter the space.

Connection method for terminal fitting and connection structure of terminal fitting

An exterior member end cap, to be attached to an end portion of a tubular shaped exterior member from which at least one conductive path is withdrawn, is provided. The exterior member end cap includes a cap main body and a first sealing member. The cap main body is inserted into the exterior member from the end portion so as to be disposed on an outside of the conductive path. The first sealing member has a elasticity, is disposed on an outside of the cap main body in close contact with an outer peripheral surface of the cap main body, is close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the exterior member, and has a continuous bubble structure.

A connection structure of a terminal fitting includes the terminal fitting including a terminal body, and a plurality of terminal connection portions extending from the terminal body and connection terminals connected to end portions of electric wires. Each of the connection terminals includes a pair of fastening caulking pieces which erects on opposite side portions of a terminal bottom portion. The pair of the fastening caulking pieces are caulked with opposite side portions of a corresponding one of the terminal connection portions from outside so that the connection terminal is caulked and fastened to the terminal fitting. A terminal fitting includes a terminal body and a plurality of terminal connection sections. A connection terminal is connected to an electric wire. The connection terminal has a holding space defined by a pair of fastening caulking pieces provided on both side sections of the connection terminal and upper end sections of the pair of fastening caulking pieces which are folded back inwardly. A pair of caulked pieces is provided so as to stand upright on both side sections of the terminal connection section and is configured to be accommodated in the holding space. A provisional engaging mechanism that is detachably engaged with the pair of fastening caulking pieces when the pair of caulked pieces is accommodated in the holding space and is provided between the pair of caulked pieces and the pair of fastening caulking pieces.

Connection structure of terminal fitting and connection method of terminal fitting

A terminal fitting includes a terminal body and terminal connection parts extended from the terminal body. Connection terminals each has a pair of caulking pieces, and each of the connection terminals configured to be connected to an end part of an electric wire. In each of the terminal connection parts, the connection terminal is caulked to the terminal connection part so that the pair of caulking pieces enfold outsides of a pair of caulked pieces provided on the terminal connection part in a state that a bottom face between the pair of caulking pieces faces an opening between ends portions of the pair of caulked pieces. The present invention relates to a connection structure for a terminal fitting (). The connection structure includes a terminal fitting () including a terminal body () to be fastened and fixed to a grounding surface and a plurality of terminal connecting portions () extended from the terminal body; and a junction terminal () electrically connected to ground wire (D) and electrically connected to the terminal connecting portions (). This connection structure enables a plurality of ground wires to be electrically connected all together to a grounding surface in a space-saving manner.

A connection structure for a terminal fitting includes the terminal fitting including a terminal body and a plurality of terminal connection portions extending from the terminal body, and connection terminals connected to electric wires. Each of the connection terminals include a pair of fastening caulking pieces. The pair of fastening caulking pieces are caulked with opposite side portions of a corresponding one of the terminal connection portions from outside so as to roll up the opposite side portions so that the connection terminal is caulked and fastened to the terminal fitting. The terminal connection portion and the connection terminal include an engagement mechanism that prevents the terminal connection portion from detaching from the fastening caulking pieces. The terminal fitting is connected to the electric wires through the connection terminals.

Connection structure for terminal fitting

A connection terminal includes: an electric wire connection part; a terminal connection part formed in a flat-plate shape; an insertion hole provided in the terminal connection part and connected to a mated member by insertion of a bolt; an erect wall located around the insertion hole and provided integrally with and protrusively from the terminal connection part; and a fracture part provided at the terminal connection part between the erect wall and the insertion hole and configured to separate a part of the terminal connection part from the mated member by a pull force in a state where the bolt is inserted. The fracture part includes: a first slit provided so as to be partially curved along the insertion hole between the erect wall and the insertion hole; and a second slit provided so as to continue to the first slit and to reach the erect wall.

Connection terminal

A grounding terminal includes a first grounding terminal including a first bolt insertion portion and a third bolt insertion portion, and a second grounding terminal including a second bolt insertion portion and a fourth bolt insertion portion. In a state that the first grounding terminal and the second grounding terminal are stacked on to each other, the first grounding terminal and the second grounding terminal are fastened and fixed to a fixation target by first and second bolts at first and second fastening portions. In the second fastening portion, the third bolt insertion portion and the fourth bolt insertion portion are stacked on to each other. The third bolt insertion portion has an elliptic shape or an oval shape. The fourth bolt insertion portion is opened and formed to be larger than the third bolt insertion portion.

Grounding terminal

A reel device is assembled with a wire harness routed between a fixed member and a movable member. A casing has a first port to which a fixed first portion of the wire harness is fixed and lead out therefrom, and a second port from a movable second portion of the wire harness is lead out. A roller is rotatably provided in the casing. The roller includes a partition plate for partitioning inside of the casing a first accommodating space and a second accommodating space. A shaft member is formed on the partition plate so as to be located in the first accommodating space, on which the first portion of the wire harness is wound. A reel drum is formed on the partition plate so as to be located in the second accommodating space and having a belt member a first end of which is fixed thereon. The reel drum winds a predetermined length of the second portion of the wire harness thereon together with the belt member the second end of which is attached to the second portion of the wire harness. A notch is formed on an outer periphery of the partition plate, to which a third portion defining a boundary between the first and second portions of the wire harness is engaged. A reel spring is provided in the reel drum for urging the roller toward a direction for taking up the second portion of the wire harness into the casing.

Reel device for wire harness

A waterproof structure for a wire harness having at least one instrument, a plurality of electric wires connected thereto and a plurality of wire connecting parts at which the electrical wires are bundled. The waterproof structure includes a sealant having a viscidity less than 40000 CPS. The sealant is retained by the wire connecting part arranged in the nearest position to the instrument positioned at a tail end in an intruding course of water into the wire harness. Due to its low viscidity, the sealant can be brought easiliy among core lines constituting the wire, whereby gaps among the core lines can be sealed perfectly. Therefore, even if the water intrudes along the core lines through the other wire connecting parts, the flow of water can be checked at the specified wire connecting part thereby to protect the instrument from the immersion of water.

Waterproof structure for wire harness

A protective cover for accommodating an end connecting part of a bundle of wires includes a box-type of casing body provided with a storage chamber to accommodate the end connecting part therein and a lid pivotably connected to the casing body to close the opened upper portion thereof. A bottom wall of the casing body is provided with a stop in the shape of a rectangular plate. With the arrangement, when accommodating the ends of the wires in the casing, the stop intrudes into the wires. Under this condition, even if the wires are pulled outside the casing, the end connecting part of the wires is hooked by the stop, whereby the wires can be retained in the casing without being drawn therefrom.
