A vehicle headlamp including a body having a rounded portion which may be, for example, rounded sideways. The headlamp includes a light source and a reflector disposed in the body with its opening being substantially directed forward. A dummy portion extends from the opening of the reflector up to the rounded portion, and a light guide is disposed along the front of the dummy portion. A cutout portion of the dummy portion is formed close to the opening of the reflector. An incident edge portion of the light guide is so positioned as to correspond to the cutout portion, and by making light from the light source incident upon the incident edge portion of the light guide, the light is made to spread throughout the light guide so that the whole light guide is caused to illuminate.

Vehicle headlamp

A vehicular headlamp wherein aiming adjustment of two reflectors can be conducted accurately regardless of the positional relation between aiming screws operating in conjunction with each other. The headlamp includes first and second reflectors mounted in a lamp chamber defined by a lamp body opening at its front and a lens covering the front opening of the lamp body, the reflectors each being tiltable by turning of an aiming screw of a corresponding aiming mechanism that supports the corresponding reflector in a tiltable manner relative to the lamp body. A belt mechanism rotationally couples the two aiming screws for allowing the first aiming screw for tilting the first reflector and the second aiming screw for tilting the second reflector to be turned in conjunction with each other.

Lamp having reflectors independently adjustable in the horizontal direction and concurrently adjustable in the vertical direction

A vehicular lighting device has a vertical-diffusion type reflecting surface, a bulb cap enclosing a bulb is formed with vertically extending steps thereon for light diffusion, and an outer lens formed with horizontally extending light diffusion steps thereon. The vehicular lighting device may be provided wih a colored inner lens in the shape of globe which covers the lamp bulb in sealed relation, and an outer lens provided at the outer surface side of the colored inner lens. The colored inner lens is formed with a lens-cut on the side surface thereof to direct light toward the side rear of the vehicle.
