An object is to suppress disproportionation in a refrigerant comprising HFO-1132(E). Provided as a means for a solution is a method for suppressing a disproportionation reaction of HFO-1132(E), the method comprising operating a refrigeration cycle using a composition comprising a refrigerant, the refrigerant comprising trans-1,2-difluoroethylene (HFO-1132(E)), trifluoroethylene (HFO-1123), and difluoromethane (R32).

The invention provides a powder that is easily redispersible in a liquid medium such as water. The powder contains a fluoropolymer. The fluoropolymer contains at least one group A selected from the group consisting of &#x2014;SOY, &#x2014;COOR, &#x2014;SOX, &#x2014;SONR, and &#x2014;COOX, wherein Y is a halogen atom; R is a C1-C4 alkyl group; X is Mor NR, where M is a hydrogen atom or an L-valent metal, the L-valent metal being a metal in group 1, group 2, group 4, group 8, group 11, group 12, or group 13 of the periodic table; and Rs are each individually a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group. The powder exhibits a dispersion of 50% or higher. The dispersion is calculated by filtering a composition obtainable by mixing the powder with water through a mesh having an opening of 20 &#x3bc;m.

The present invention provides a fluoropolymer electrolyte material which has improved processability and which is easily produced. The electrolyte emulsion of the present invention comprises an aqueous medium and a fluoropolymer electrolyte dispersed in the aqueous medium. The fluoropolymer electrolyte has a monomer unit having an SOZ group (Z is an alkali metal, an alkaline-earth metal, hydrogen, or NRRRR, and R, R, R, and Reach are individually a C1-C3 alkyl group or hydrogen). The fluoropolymer electrolyte has an equivalent weight (EW) of 250 or more and 700 or less and a proton conductivity at 110&#xb0; C. and relative humidity 50% RH of 0.10 S/cm or higher. The fluoropolymer electrolyte is a spherical particulate substance having an average particle size of 10 to 500 nm. The fluoropolymer electrolyte has a ratio (the number of SOF groups)/(the number of SOZ groups) of 0 to 0.01.

The present invention provides an electrolyte having high conductivity even under high-temperature low-humidification conditions (e.g. at a temperature of 100 to 120&#xb0; C. and a humidity of 20 to 50% RH) and thereby makes it possible to realize a higher performance fuel cell. This slide switch includes: a casing formed in a hollow box shape with an open top; several fixed contacts on the bottom surface of the casing and several terminals connected to them extending to the outside of the casing; a cover mounted to close the open top of the casing, formed with a hole opposed to the fixed contacts; and a slide member disposed inside the casing, which has a control portion protruding out through the hole in the cover and a movable contact portion made of a resilient electrically conducting material which bears against the internal bottom surface of the casing and thereby produces a biasing force on the slide member to impel it in the direction towards the cover. The movable contact portion of the slide member, according as the control portion of the slide member is moved from outside the casing, selectively connects together a combination of the fixed contacts. The movable contact is mounted to the slider so that movement of the contact within a plane parallel to the bottom surface of the casing is solely restricted to the sliding direction of the slider.

A slide switch has a switch operating member at its upper surface which is slid back and forth for operating the slide switch. An adapter is provided for operating this slide switch from the side, and has a main body which has a base and clamp members extending from opposite sides of the base to define a space between them, the clamp members being adapted to grip the slide switch between them so as to secure the adapter on the top of the slide switch with the slide switch being held at least partly in the space between the clamp members. The adapter has an actuator pivotally fixed to the main body, and this actuator has a lever portion which protrudes out from the main body to the side and an actuation portion which, with the slide switch held between the clamp members, engages with the switch operating member of the slide switch, so as to slide it as the actuator is pivoted with respect to the main body. As a result, the slide switch, which ordinarily is for operation from its top, can be converted to be operated from its side.

This slide switch includes: a casing formed in a hollow box shape with an open top; several fixed contacts on the bottom surface of the casing and several terminals connected to them extending to the outside of the casing; a cover mounted to close the open top of the casing, formed with a hole opposed to the fixed contacts; a slide member disposed inside the casing, which has a control portion protruding out through the hole in the cover and a movable contact portion made of a resilient electrically conducting material which bears against the internal bottom surface of the casing and thereby produces a biasing force on the slide member to impel it in the direction towards the cover; and a seal member interposed between the inside of the cover and the side of the slide member facing it, the seal member being squeezed between the slide member and the cover, a seal between the inside of the casing and the outside thereby being produced. The movable contact portion of the slide member, according as the control portion of the slide member is moved from outside the casing, selectively connects together a combination of the fixed contacts. By this seal member being provided, a good sealing performance for the switch is available, and therefore, when the switch is soldered to a printed circuit board and a cleansing fluid is thereafter used for cleansing off solder residue, no contamination is introduced into the slide switch.
