Provided are an internal combustion engine control device and control method in which a multi-injection process comprises performing an intake synchronized injection and an intake asynchronous injection to inject a required injection amount of fuel by operating a port injection valve for injecting fuel into an intake passageway. A variable process includes variably setting an injection timing for the intake synchronized injection on the basis of at least two of three parameters. The injection timing for the intake synchronized injection is expressed by the rotation angle of a crank shaft of an internal combustion engine. The three parameters include a rotational speed of the crank shaft of the internal combustion engine, a valve-opening start timing of an intake valve, and a temperature of an intake system of the internal combustion engine.

Internal combustion engine control device and control method

An on-vehicle motor-driven compressor includes a compression unit, an electric motor, and an inverter device. The inverter device includes an inverter circuit and a noise reducer. The noise reducer includes a common-mode choke coil and a smoothing capacitor. The common-mode choke coil includes a loop-shaped core, a first winding wound around the core, a second winding wound around the core, the second winding being spaced apart from and opposed to the first winding, and a loop-shaped conductor that covers the core while extending over the first winding and the second winding. The core includes an exposed portion that is not covered with the conductor. Parts of the conductor that are opposed to each other between the first winding and the second winding are spaced apart from each other.

On-vehicle motor-driven compressor

An ECU outputs an ignition signal and a discharge waveform control signal. An ignition device performs a closing operation of an ignition switching device while the ignition signal is input into the ignition device. The ignition device adjusts a current flowing through a primary coil to a discharge current command value determined based on the discharge waveform control signal, by performing an opening-closing operation of a control switching device in a period in which the discharge waveform control signal is input into the ignition device after an input of the ignition signal into the ignition device is stopped. The ECU sets the discharge current command value that is a command value for a discharge current of a spark plug to a higher value as a rotation speed is higher, and prolongs a duration, in which discharge controller controls the discharge current, as the rotation speed is lower.

Control device for internal combustion engine

In a placement face of which a general face is configured with a circular cone shape, restriction faces are formed. When a sensor ball rolls along an axial direction of rotating shafts, the sensor ball accordingly contacts one of the restriction faces or another of the restriction faces. From this state, in order for the sensor ball to roll further along the axial direction of the rotating shafts, the sensor ball has to rise up the one of the restriction faces or the other of the restriction faces that respectively have a larger angle of incline than the general face. By contrast, in order for the sensor ball to roll in directions orthogonal to the axial direction of the rotating shafts as seen in plan view, the sensor ball only has to roll over the general face.

Webbing take-up device

A shaft portion formed at a vertical wall of a sensor housing is formed in a circular column shape, and an abut portion is formed facing a support wall, below the shaft portion. A width dimension of the abut portion is the same as the diameter dimension of the shaft portion as seen in plan view, and the abut portion is formed so as to overlap entirely with the shaft portion as seen from the opposite side of the shaft portion to the abut portion. Foreign objects such as dirt or dust that fall onto the circular column shaped shaft portion therefore readily slide over the shaft portion and fall down from the shaft portion, and foreign objects such as dirt or dust do not stay on the abut portion.

A resin board that consists of at least one of a mixture of a plurality of types of resins having different degrees of susceptibility to erosion by an ozone solution, and a resin having, in a molecule, a plurality of types of components having different degrees of susceptibility to erosion by the ozone solution is treated with ozone water to form a reformed layer, and a catalyst metal is adsorbed by the reformed layer so as to form a resin-metal composite layer, on which a plating process is performed. In the resin board, a component or components that is/are likely to be eroded on by the ozone solution dissolves into the ozone solution, and pores or clearances on the order of nanometers are formed between the component(s) and a component or components that is/are less likely to be eroded by the ozone solution. With the plating deposited in the pores or clearances, the adhesion strength is improved due to an anchoring effect. Thus, the adhesion strength of the plating film is improved even where the resin-metal composite layer has a thickness of 10 to 200 nm.

Resin board to be subjected to ozone treatment, wiring board, and method of manufacturing the wiring board

The apparatus of the present invention corrects a control target value of ignition timing using a multipoint learned value AGdp(n) for compensating for a change amount of the ignition timing caused by time-dependent change of the engine and a basic learned value AG(i) for compensating for a change amount of the ignition timing caused by a factor other than the aforementioned time-dependent change of the engine. In a multipoint learning range n in which the time-dependent change of the engine influences the ignition timing to a great extent, the control target is corrected using the multipoint learned value AGdp(n) and the basic learned value AG(i). In ranges other than the multipoint learning range n, the control target is corrected using only the basic learned value AG(i). Normally, only the learning of the multipoint learned value AGdp(n) is permitted in the multipoint learning range n, and only the learning of the basic learned value AG(i) is permitted in the ranges other than the multipoint learning range n. When it is determined that there is a possibility that fuel has been fed to a fuel tank, the learning of the multipoint learned value AGdp(n) is prohibited for a subsequent predetermined period (if NO in step Sor step S).

Ignition timing controller of internal combustion engine

A mold is filled with unsintered SiC particles and a melt of Al or of an Al alloy containing Si is poured into the mold for high pressure casting. Owing to the SiC particles and Si precipitated upon casting, a low expansion material having a low thermal expansion coefficient is produced. A heat transmission path is formed by Al infiltrating spaces between the SiC particles and therefore high heat conductivity is obtained.

Method of manufacturing a low expansion material and semiconductor device using the low expansion material

A plate-shaped composite material has a first member and a second member. The first member is an expanded metal formed of a metal plate. The coefficient of linear expansion of the metal plate is less than or equal to 8&#xd7;10/degrees Celsius. The first member suppresses thermal expansion of the composite material. The coefficient of thermal conductivity of the second member is greater than or equal to 200 W/(m&#xd7;K). The second member maintains the coefficient of thermal conductivity of the composite material. This structure provides a reliable coefficient of thermal conductivity and high strength. The structure is suitable for a cooling substrate on which electronic elements such as semiconductors are mounted.

Composite structural material, and method of producing the same

A low-expansion unit includes a plate member and an iron-nickel layer. Upper and lower surface layers of the plate member each have the iron-nickel layer thereon and/or therein. While the plate member has a relatively large thermal expansion coefficient, the iron-nickel layers, which are formed on and/or in the upper and lower surface layers of the plate member, have a relatively small thermal expansion coefficient. Therefore, thermal expansion coefficient of the low-expansion unit is as a whole restrained to a relatively small value. Also, the plate member includes pure iron whose thermal conductivity is relatively high. Meanwhile, the iron-nickel layers, which are formed on the plate member, are relatively thin. Therefore, the low-expansion unit has a relatively large thermal conductivity in a direction of thickness thereof.

Low-expansion unit, method of manufacturing the same and semiconductor provided with the same

A plate of an expanded metal and two metal plates are overlaid on one another. The expanded metal plate has a plurality of meshes. The linear expansion coefficient of the expanded metal is equal to or less than 8&#xd7;10/&#xb0; C., and the thermal conductivity of the metal plates is equal to or more than 200 W/(m&#xb7;K). Then, the metal plates and the expanded metal plate are subjected to hot rolling to be rolled and joined. The rolling and joining are performed in two stages. In the first stage, the meshes of the expanded metal plate are filled with the material of the metal plates. In the second stage, the rolling and joining are performed such that the composite material has a predetermined thickness. The volumetric ratio of the expanded metal plate to the composite material is in a range between 20% and 70%, inclusive. The composite material, which has an improved thermal conductivity and strength and is suitable for heat dissipating substrate, is manufactured at a reduced cost.

Composite material and method for manufacturing the same

An aqueous solution containing sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide is used for a soft etchant in a soft etching step in a smear removing process performed prior to a catalyst applying process for chemical copper plating after formation of via holes through an insulating layer of a multi-layer substrate by irradiation of laser. The concentration of sulfuric acid is 2.4 times or less than the concentration of hydrogen peroxide. Preferably, the concentration of sulfuric acid is in a range of 9 to 90 g/l, and the concentration of sulfuric acid is lower than the concentration of hydrogen peroxide. More preferably, the concentration of sulfuric acid is in a range of 9 to 18 g/l, and the concentration of hydrogen peroxide is in a range of 33 to 38.5 g/l. As a result, smear can be certainly removed without excessively etching a conductive layer in the smear removing process.

Method of removing smear from via holes

A heat spreader includes an electromagnetic soft iron sheet and a plating layer formed on the surface of the sheet. The plate is made of a rustproof metal. An electronic component is mounted on an aluminum base with an HITT substrate and the heat spreader in between. The heat spreader is manufactured at low cost and has a favorable property as a heat dissipating material.

Heat dissipating material and manufacturing method thereof

A process for filling a powder includes the steps of charging a powder into a cavity of a container and, after the charging step, vibrating a swinging body on the powder which is held in the cavity, thereby filling the powder with a high density. Since the swinging body swings in the cavity, it is possible to fill the powder in the container with a high apparent density being improved much more than conventional processes for filling powders. The process is applicable to an apparatus for filling a powder and a process for producing a composite material.

A process for producing fiber aggregate which comprises the steps of coating a conductive material which is insoluble in a dielectric fluid on the surface of fibers; dispersing the fibers into the dielectric fluid to obtain a fiber suspended fluid; introducing the fiber suspended fluid into an electric field which is generated in a space between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, whereby causing individual fibers to electrostatically and one-dimensionally orient; and aggregating the oriented fibers. The conductive material contributes to charge-transfer, and it causes the fibers in the electric filed to orient stably.
