A vehicle wiper device includes a wiper arm, a wiper blade, a nozzle body, a hose, and a cleaning fluid supply section. A leading end side portion of the wiper arm is configured by an arm piece, and the wiper arm swings back and forth. The nozzle body is attached to the arm piece, is disposed on an outward movement side of the wiper blade, and jets cleaning fluid toward a windshield. The hose conveys cleaning fluid under pressure. The cleaning fluid supply section is at an opposite side of a rubber holder from the windshield, extends from the nozzle body so as to extend across the rubber holder from the outward movement side toward a return movement side of the wiper blade, is connected to the hose, and supplies cleaning fluid to the nozzle body.

Vehicle wiper device

A wiper arm includes an arm main body having a blade joining portion at a distal end side in a length direction of the arm main body; a first nozzle portion disposed at a proximal end side from the blade joining portion in the length direction of the arm main body; a second nozzle portion disposed at a distal end side from the first nozzle portion in the length direction of the arm main body; a first line hose; and a second line hose, wherein the second nozzle portion jets washing fluid toward a wiping direction forward side when the arm main body moves toward an upper turning position, and the first washer nozzle portion jets washing fluid toward a wiping direction forward side and further toward the proximal end side than a length direction center of the wiper blade when the arm main body moves toward a lower turning position from the upper turning position.

Wiper arm and vehicle wiper apparatus equipped therewith

A wiper arm comprising an arm main body; a first nozzle portion disposed at a first predetermined position in a length direction of the arm main body; a second nozzle portion disposed at a second predetermined position in the length direction of the arm main body, and jets washing fluid toward a position that is different from an impact point of the washing fluid jetted from the first nozzle portion; a first line hose accommodated in the arm main body and connected to the first nozzle portion; a second line hose accommodated in the arm main body side-by-side with the first line hose and connected to the second nozzle portion; and a hose retention unit attached to the arm main body and that comprises: a first hose retention portion retaining the first line hose; and a second hose retention portion provided integrally with the first hose retention portion and retaining the second line hose.

A wiper device that includes: a wiper motor that uses a wiper to perform a wiping operation; and a controller that controls the wiper motor such that a wiping operation by the wiper is performed during a first wiping period for a plurality of cycles in a case in which a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed detection section is below a specific speed and a washer switch is switched ON to instruct a washer pump to eject washer fluid, and controls the wiper motor such that a wiping operation of a plurality of cycles by the wiper begins by starting during a second wiping period that is longer than the first wiping period in a case in which the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detection section is the specific speed or greater and the washer switch is switched ON.

Wiper device and wiper motor

A wiper device includes: a pivot shaft that rotates back and forth within a predetermined angular range; an arm head that is fixed to the pivot shaft; a cover that is mounted to the arm head; and a wiper arm that is pivotally supported on the arm head to come into and out of contact with a surface to be wiped. The wiper arm includes an engagement concave portion that extends in a longitudinal direction of the wiper arm at a side portion in a pivot direction of the wiper arm. The cover includes an engagement convex portion that extends in the longitudinal direction of the wiper arm. Relative movement of the wiper arm and the cover is restricted by engagement between an engagement wall portion of the engagement concave portion and the engagement convex portion.

Wiper device

A wiper blade for connection to a wiper arm for wiping a surface to be wiped while swinging to-and-fro between a wiper stop position and a reversal position. The wiper blade includes a lever member configured to be coupled to the wiper arm, and a blade rubber retained by the lever member. The lever member includes first and second retaining hooks projecting toward the surface to be wiped and arranged at an interval in the longitudinal direction of the lever member. The blade rubber includes accommodating grooves, which are open toward a wiping direction. A leaf spring member is mounted in each accommodating groove. The first and second retaining hooks retain the blade rubber while preventing the leaf spring members from falling out of the accommodating grooves. The lever member further includes fall-off preventing protrusions arranged between the first and second retaining hooks in the longitudinal direction of the lever member. The fall-off preventing protrusions project toward the surface to be wiped. The fall-off preventing protrusions are arranged on the rear side of the blade rubber with respect to a direction in which the blade rubber moves from the wiper stop position toward the reversal position. The fall-off preventing protrusions permit movement of the blade rubber in the direction perpendicular to the surface. When the blade rubber moves from the wiper stop position toward the reversal position, the fall-off preventing protrusions receive the blade rubber so as to prevent the leaf spring members from falling out of the accommodating grooves.

Wiper blade

A first lever is rotatably supported by a first support shaft connected to a vehicle body. The first lever has a first connection spaced away from the first support shaft. The first lever is reciprocally swung about the first support shaft by a driving force transmitted from a motor. A second lever is rotatably supported by a second support shaft connected to the vehicle body. The second lever has a second connection. A third lever is rotatably connected to both the first connection and the second connection. The third lever has an arm support shaft arranged at an offset position offset from a line connecting between the first connection and the second connection. A wiper arm is secured to the arm support shaft. A wiper blade is connected to a distal end of the wiper arm.
