A harness slack take-up structure for a steering gear enables a harness case to be compact and the harness to be a standard round harness. The harness slack take-up structure employs a movable part and a fixed part to restrict the movement of the slack of the harness somewhat and to take-up the slack, thereby minimizing the size of the harness case.

A structure for wiring a wiring harness for an automobile between an electronic control unit and devices (-) is disclosed. The wiring structure is provided with a housing member () including a first portion () having a first connector for connection with the devices (-), a second portion () housing the electronic control unit and a third portion () being formed in a slim shape and interconnecting the first portion () and the second portion (), and a wiring harness housed in the third portion (), the wiring harness interconnecting the first connectors and the electronic control unit. The housing member () is arranged along a steering member () of the automobile in a manner that the third portion () is housed between a control module () of the automobile and the steering member ().

An assembly body has a vent duct arranged below an instrument panel of a vehicle and a glove compartment is provided. This duct assembly body includes of two panels divided into an upper-half and a lower-half, which are formed by resin injection molding, and a lower-half of the vent duct and the glove compartment are integrally molded in the lower-half panel.

The self-locating connector assembly includes a first connector receiving one of internal and external terminals. The assembly includes a second connector receiving the other one of external and internal terminals. The assembly includes a locator for slidably inserting first connector thereinto in an axial direction of the internal and external terminals. Respecting one of the first connector and the second connector are slidably locked with corresponding one of supporting members vertically and horizontally. Before the first and second connectors are mated with each other, the first and second connectors automatically correct a displacement between axes thereof. The first connector includes a recess, the recess including an oblique face for facilitating to mate with the second connector, the recess including at least a pair of parallel faces with an axial dimension and joined to the oblique face. The second connector includes a parallel face corresponding to the recess of the first connector. During mating operation of the first connector and the second connector, parallel faces of the first connector and the second connector automatically corrects the displacement before the internal and external terminals are mated with each other.
