A grounding terminal fitting (A) includes a base terminal fitting () having mounting holes () and a base-side locking portion (), and a combined terminal fitting () separate from the base terminal fitting () and to be fixed while being overlapped on the base terminal fitting () by being locked to the base-side locking portion (). The combined terminal fitting () includes at least one wire connecting terminal fitting () formed with a through hole () to be aligned with the mounting hole () for the passage of a bolt (). A wire connecting portion () for connecting a grounding wire () and a combining locking portion (). When the combining locking portions () are locked together, the wire connecting terminal fittings () are overlapped and fixed and the through holes () are aligned with one another.

Battery terminal

A joint connector () for electrically connecting a plurality of terminal fittings () mounted on ends of a plurality of ground wires (W) of a vehicle includes a pair of terminal holding portions (A,A) for holding a pair of the terminal fittings (). A pair of locking lances () deflectable with respect to each other and configured to suppress the withdrawal of the pair of terminal fittings () by locking the pair of terminal fittings () are arranged back to back with each other via a deflection permitting space () between the pair of terminal holding portions (A,A).

It is aimed to provide a ground connection fitting capable of enhancing the reliability of connection of a ground wire to ground sections and a ground connection device using the same. A first ground connection fitting () connects a ground wire (E) to a first bolt (B) and a second bolt (B), which a plurality of ground sections provided on a wall surface of a vehicle. The first ground connection fitting () includes a wire connecting portion formed by a wire-side terminal portion () to be mounted on an end of the ground wire (E), and a ground-side terminal portion () formed with a first bolt connection hole () connectable to the first bolt (B) and a second bolt connection hole () connectable to the second bolt (B).

Ground connection fitting and ground connection device using same

A conductive plate () for grounding a plurality of first ground wires (W) to a body of a vehicle includes a conductive plate main body () with a body-side grounding portion () to be grounded to the body by being bolted to the body. Terminal connecting portions (B) are on one end of the conductive plate main body () and are to be connected to wire-side terminals () electrically connected to the respective first ground wires (W). A first rib group () and a second rib group () project from the conductive plate main body () in a thickness direction of the conductive plate main body () and set the rigidity of the conductive plate main body () to be low at a position close to the body-side grounding portion () and high at a position distant from the body-side grounding portion ().

Conductive plate and joint connector

The present invention provides a water-proofing joint connector capable of electrically interconnecting a plurality of terminals, with a simple structure, irrespective of the number of the terminals. The water-proofing joint connector includes a connection conductor, a housing and a cap member. The connecting conductor has a plurality of fitting portions to be fitted with respective terminals, preliminarily held within the housing. The housing includes a plurality of terminal insertion portions and a cap-member insertion portion which opens to an opposite side of the terminal insertion portions. The cap member has a cap portion to close the cap-member insertion portion and a fit detection portion to come into contact with the terminal locking portion elastically displaced by the terminals failing to be fully fitted, to thereby prevent the cap member from being attached to the cap-member insertion portion.

Water-proofing joint connector

A connector is provided with male terminal fittings (), seals () mountable on the male terminal fittings (), and a housing () formed with cavities () for accommodating the male terminal fittings () with the seals () held in close contact with the inner wall surfaces of the cavities (). Each seal () is mounted on a tab () located before a wire barrel () in the male terminal fitting (). Accordingly, even if water enters through the inside of the wire (), an arrival of the water at mating portions of male and female terminal fittings () can be avoided.

Watertight connector

A terminal () has two high-rigidity portions () for resiliently contacting the inner surface of a through hole (). A low-rigidity portion () spans between the high-rigidity portions () and is compressively deformable along its spanning direction. The low-rigidity portion () has an easily breakable portion () that breaks when a stress acting during the insertion of the terminal () into the through hole () exceeds a resiliency limit. Thus, the terminal () is held resiliently in contact with a large diameter through hole () by resilient forces of the two high-rigidity portions () and a resilient force of the low-rigidity portion (). However, the terminal () is held resiliently in contact with a small diameter through hole () only by the resilient forces of the two high-rigidity portions ().

Terminal

A connector () has a housing () with insertion holes () and terminal fittings () to be pressed into the insertion holes (). Each terminal fitting () has a press-in portion () to be pressed into the insertion hole () while pushing material of the housing () outward. An accommodating portion () is continuous with the press-in portion () and has slanted surfaces (A) narrowing the press-in portion () toward the rear side with respect to the inserting direction. Thus, material pushed out by the press-in portion () returns after the passage of the press-in portion () and engages the accommodat9ing portion (). The width between the rear ends of the slanted surfaces (A) of the accommodating portion () is equal to or smaller than the width of the insertion hole ().

Terminal fitting and a connector

A circuit board terminal () has a board connecting portion () with a pair of resilient contacts () that bulge out with a deformation space () therebetween. A resiliently deformable strut () bridges the facing inner surfaces of the two resilient contacts (). The board connecting portion () can be inserted into a through hole () in a circuit board (). Thus, the resilient contacts () are pressed against the inner surface of the through hole () by a resilient force of the strut () acting in elongating directions and their own resilient forces acting in opening directions.

Circuit board terminal

A lever-type connector electrically detects a connected state of housings and has an improved reliability in its connection detecting function. A magnet ( ) is provided integrally in an operable portion ( ) of a lever ( ), and a lead switch ( ) is provided at the bottom surface of a receptacle ( ). The lever ( ) is operated to engage cam pins ( ) with cam grooves ( ), and female and male housings ( ) are properly connected by the cam action and the lead switch ( ) is turned on by a magnetic force of the magnet ( ). Whether the two housings ( ) are connected properly can be detected electrically by connecting the lead switch ( ) with a detecting circuit or the like.
