Provided are sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate crystals capable of long-term storage that have improved stability of sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate, which is effective as an oxidizing 5 agent or bactericide, in the vicinity of normal temperatures, and a method for producing the same. The sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate crystals are such that peaks appear at the locations of the angles of diffraction described in Table 1 of claimover a range of 10&#xb0;&#x2264;2&#x3b8; (angle of diffraction)&#x2264;65&#xb0; as measured by powder X-ray diffraction using a Cuk&#x3b1; radiation source.

Sodium hypochlorite pentahydrate crystals and method for producing same

A shower head comprises a hot-water treating mechanism accommodated in a water passage formed in a shower head case of the shower head. The hot-water treating mechanism has coral sand and active carbon fiber, and has calcium sulfite if necessary. These materials are arranged serially along a water-flow direction in the shower head. For example, these materials are arranged concentrically, through which hot water is made to flow from the center to the periphery. In order to realize this concentrical arrangement of these materials, these materials are made to be a sheet structure, and are overlaid and wound to form a sheet roll. Acrylic active carbon fiber can be used as the active carbon fiber. The shower head can effectively remove chlorine from a large flow rate of hot water having a temperature of about 40 degrees of centigrade. Further, it is possible to reduce in weight of the shower head having a hot-water treating mechanism below 300 grams.

Described is a beam index type color cathode ray tube in which at least one of tricolor phosphor stripes, that is the red, blue and green stripes, is different in width from the other color phosphor stripes, and m index stripes are associated with n sets or triplets of the color phosphor stripes. The widthwise center-to-center distance between the adjoining color phosphor stripes is set to a constant value. A control system for a beam index cathode ray tube momentarily gates or turns off all beam current at the transition from one color modulating signal to another. The resulting dip in the electron beam density, as it scans across an index phosphor stripe located between adjacent color phosphor areas, produces a substantially corresponding dip in the index signal derived from excitation of the index phosphor stripe by the electron beam. The dip in the index signal is detectable as an indication of the phase of the index signal substantially independent of differences in the amplitude of the electron beam current.
