A multi-disk pack hard disk drive includes first and second spindle motor assemblies mounted one over the other on a base post. Each motor assembly may include a compact axial flux motor. The motor wiring for each may be routed within a structural cutout feature of the base post to an electrical connector at the base. A compact threaded disk clamp and motor hub interface may be implemented to further reduce the vertical height of the multi-disk pack assembly.

A hard disk drive (HDD) includes an enclosure base, a first cover coupled to the base, and two separate gasket seals composed of different materials and configured to seal the interface between the first cover and the base. One gasket seal is composed of a material having a low permeability to helium or another lighter-than-air gas contained within the HDD, and the other gasket seal is composed of material having a low water vapor or moisture transmission. By using two separate independent gaskets which have different attributes, the lighter-than-air gas concentration is kept high and humidity is kept low during manufacturing testing, prior to affixing a hermetic second cover over the first cover, and degradation of HDD performance due to change of flying height is ultimately avoided.

The piezoelectric speaker has: a first vibration plate with a periphery; a piezoelectric element placed on at least one face of the first vibration plate; and multiple openings that are provided around the piezoelectric element and penetrate through the first vibration plate in its thickness direction that is a first axis direction. The housing has: a supporting part that directly or indirectly supports the periphery; and a sound introduction port that faces the piezoelectric speaker in the first axis direction. The sound introduction port is provided at a position where it does not overlap, in the first axis direction, a first opening having the largest open area among the multiple openings. The electroacoustic transducer can improve the acoustic characteristics of a piezoelectric speaker.

An electroencephalogram analysis apparatus includes an electroencephalogram acquisition part and a comparison part. The electroencephalogram acquisition part is configured to acquire a first electroencephalogram measured at a first region on a head of a test subject and a second electroencephalogram measured at a second region positioned behind the first region on the head of the test subject. The comparison part is configured to compare a power of the first electroencephalogram in a specific frequency band with a power of the second encephalogram in the specific frequency band.
