A motorcycle includes a seat, side covers covering the periphery of the lower side of the seat and formed in curved shapes to gradually decrease in width toward the rear side of the vehicle. Rear blinkers mounted to left and right portions in the vehicle width direction of the side covers. Each of the rear blinkers includes a base member mounted to the side cover, a bulb and a lens covering the bulb. The left and right rear blinkers are disposed at recesses provided in the side covers. Each of the left and right rear blinkers is mounted to the side cover in such a manner that the lens is substantially entirely exposed from the recess to not overlap with a curved surface of the side cover in plan sectional view as viewed from the upper side of the vehicle, the section containing the optical axis of the bulb.

Turn signal device for saddle-ride type vehicle

On a pivot bolt which rotatably and pivotally supports a side stand bar on a vehicle-body-side bracket, a switch unit which is constituted of a base and a rotary made of a resin and detects a rotational position of the side stand bar is mounted. A first engaging mechanism which is constituted of a groove and a projection is arranged between a cylindrical portion formed on the rotary and an engaging shaft and, at the same time, a second engaging mechanism which is constituted of a groove and a projection is arranged between the base and the cylindrical portion. The rotary on which a movable contact formed of a leaf spring is mounted allows a positioning pin which is formed on one end portion thereof to be engaged with a pin hole formed in a pivot portion and hence, the rotary is integrally rotated with the side stand bar.

Side stand switch

A saddle type vehicle including at least one trunk provided with a lid, an opening/closing mechanism for permitting and rejecting the opening and closing of the lid, and a radio signal receiving unit which receives a radio signal for remotely operating the opening/closing mechanism, whereby the radio signal receiving unit is disposed on top of the trunk. A rear trunk is mounted on a rear portion of a body of the vehicle, a lid having a projection formed outside on top of the trunk, and a radio signal receiving unit is disposed inside the projection.

Saddle type vehicle having a remote control type trunk

The invention provides a display device for vehicles capable of quickly and reliably displaying high-priority and high-emergency information, while maintaining sufficient display space for other information. The vehicles may be of the type including a trunk provided with a cover. The display device has a display section in which display patterns are used. The display device includes an open position detecting device which detects that the cover of the trunk is open. A warning design pattern producing device generates a warning design pattern which visually expresses a warning when the cover is open. A warning display priority device displays the warning design pattern, prior to other information, on the display section when the cover is detected to be open.

Display device for vehicles

A pair of right and left headlights are fitted with a front cowl. Each headlight has two lamps laterally arranged. A laterally inner one of the two lamps is a discharge lamp functioning as a low-beam emitting lamp, and a laterally outer one of the two lamps is a halogen lamp functioning as a high-beam emitting lamp. The halogen lamp is higher in position than the discharge lamp. Each headlight further has a reflector surface for the low beam and a reflector surface for the high beam. The reflector surface is larger in size than the reflector surface. A lens is provided on the front side of the reflector surfaces, and the width of a laterally inner portion of the lens is larger than the width of a laterally outer portion of the lens. The low beam emitted from the discharge lamp is reflected on the larger reflector surface to illuminate a wide area, and the high beam emitted from the halogen lamp is reflected on the smaller reflector surface to illuminate a spot area at a distant point.

Headlight unit for a vehicle

A remote control type vehicular trunk is provided which includes a plurality of trunks each having a lid whereby the lids are locked and unlocked by a remote controller. The trunks have a pop-up device, which opens at least one of the lids in response to a predetermined remote control. The controller includes a first actuator for locking or unlocking each of the lids, and a second actuator for unlocking the at least one of the trunks provided with the pop-up device and actuating the pop-up device.
