A cosmetic case containing a replaceable inner case which can be easily removed or inserted, and which is specifically structure to maintain the cosmetic material contained therein in a fresh and useable condition. The invention is comprised of an outer case with a floor area and inner peripheral wall defining a space for an inner container, an outer cover attached by a hinge to the outer case, a main latch employed to hold the outer cover closed, a replaceable inner container providing a cosmetic holding space, an inner container cover capable of opening or closing over the cosmetic holding space, and a sub-latch employed to hold the inner cover closed against the inner container. The inner case is equipped with a hinge part to allow opening and closing of the inner cover, the hinge part fitting into a cutout section on the peripheral wall of the outer case so as to expose the hinge and thus allow wide angle opening of the inner case cover. Inner case installation is aided by small protruding ribs formed within the outer case with the purpose of indexing and securing the inner case. An orifice is provided in the floor of the main case to allow the inner case to be pushed up and removed by finger pressure applied from below. The cosmetic case is characterized by a push-type latch mechanism which opens the outer and inner case covers simultaneously in one movement, an effective sealing mechanism between the inner case and cover, and specific inner cover structures to inhibit the fall of condensation droplets onto the cosmetic surface.

Cosmetic case

A cosmetic case containing a replaceable inner case which can be easily removed or inserted, and which is specifically structured to maintain the cosmetic material contained therein in a fresh and useable condition. The invention is comprised of an outer case with a floor area and inner peripheral wall defining a space for an inner container, an outer cover attached by a hinge to the outer case, a main latch employed to hold the outer cover closed, a replaceable inner container providing a cosmetic holding space, an inner container cover capable of opening or closing over the cosmetic holding space, and a sub-latch employed to hold the inner cover closed against the inner container. The inner case is equipped with a hinge part to allow opening and closing of the inner cover, the hinge part fitting into a cutout section on the peripheral wall of the outer case so as to expose the hinge and thus allow wide angle opening of the inner case cover. Inner case installation is aided by small protruding ribs formed within the outer case with the purpose of indexing and securing the inner case. An orifice is provided in the floor of the main case to allow the inner case to be pushed up and removed by finger pressure applied from below. The cosmetic case is characterized by a push-type latch mechanism which opens the outer and inner case covers simultaneously in one movement, an effective sealing mechanism between the inner case and cover, and specific inner cover structures to inhibit the fall of condensation droplets onto the cosmetic surface.

A container is capable of containing a plurality of creamy substances and of simultaneously extruding the plurality of creamy substances through holes formed in an upper wall. The container includes a tubular case provided with a plurality of chambers for containing the plurality of creamy substances, a tubular member disposed in each chamber for axial movement, a hollow cylinder rotatably fitted over the tubular member and having longitudinal teeth on its outer surface, the hollow cylinder being interlocked with the tubular member by means of screw threads, an extrusion plunger, fitted in each chamber for axial movement and including a plate member fitted in the chamber in a liquid-tight manner and a tubular boss projecting downwardly from the plate member, the latter being fitted between the tubular member and the hollow cylinder, and an operating member capable of simultaneously rotating the two hollow cylinderes. The operating member is moved to turn the hollow cylinders by a predetermined angle so that the extrusion plungers are raised simultaneouly by a predetermined distance in the chambers to extrude the creamy substances.

Creamy substance container

A make-up tool and holder assembly includes a holder body substantially in the shape of a plate, a plurality of cavities formed in the holder body through the entire thickness thereof, and a plurality of tools each having at one end thereof a make-up head and having a dimension capable of being accommodated in a respective cavity. The tools are arranged to be secured in the cavities in a detachable manner so that any desired tool can be separated from the holder body for use alone.

Make-up tool and holder assembly

A vanity case comprises a main container having a receptacle and a cover, and a tray for detachably holding the main container therein. The receptacle has a space in which a pair of sliding pieces are disposed for an engagement with a projection of the cover. The sliding pieces are connected together in such manner that the inner ends approach each other to hold the projection therebetween when the outer ends are located away from each other and projected beyond the side walls of the receptacle by an elastic means. A means is provided for maintaining the cover in the closed position and upon rearward movement of the main container with respect to the tray, for releasing the closed position of the cover.

Vanity case

A retractable-type cosmetic container includes a holder having a cosmetic projecting-retracting means and adapted to be mounted on a manipulating member provided separately from the holder, and a cap closure. An inner tube of the holder is provided at its lower end with an opening of angular shape within which a hollow projection of the manipulating member is detachably engaged for unitary rotation of the member and the inner tube.
