A beach cleaner that is simple in configuration and light in weight and can be manufactured at a low cost. The beach cleaner is easy with regard to maintenance and inspection and can efficiently reclaim various kinds of refuse scattered on a beach. A beach cleaner includes a traveling body with ski members disposed at four corner portions of a frame having a substantially quadrangular shape. The beach cleaner is towed along a surface F of sandy soil by a traction vehicle R. A bar-like scraper is provided at a lower portion of a front portion of the traveling body and extends in a widthwise direction of the traveling body through a scraper supporting member for scraping up refuse on the sandy soil while the traveling body is operating. A refuse reclamation section is provided on the traveling body rearwardly of the bar-like scraper for collecting pieces of refuse scraped up and thrown rearwardly by the bar-like scraper onto a net member.

Beach cleaner

A beach cleaner for recovering waste while moving in a towed state by a traction vehicle. A grating-like portion scoops up waste present in front of the beach cleaner as the beach cleaner is moved and a reticulate portion that is formed behind the grating-like portion to hold waste. As the beach cleaner is moved, waste present in front of the beach cleaner is scooped up onto the grating-like portion and is held with the reticulate portion formed behind the grating-like portion. Sand that is scooped up together with the waste is allowed to drop through the gaps in the grating-like portion.

A waste recovery station for a beach cleaner for recovering waste raked up by a beach cleaner. A waste recovery station for a beach cleaner includes a pair of station members arranged in parallel with each other through a required spacing. Each station member is provided with a pair of support posts with a foot such as, for example, a circular or square flat plate fixed to a lower end of each support post and is also provided with a guide member fixed to upper ends of the support posts. In the guide member, a longitudinally intermediate portion is formed as a horizontal portion and front and rear end sides are formed as slant portions and are bent downwardly at an obtuse angle. A beach cleaner for recovering waste while traveling in a towed state by a traction vehicle. A grating-like portion scoops up waste present in front of the beach cleaner as the beach cleaner is moved. A rotor is disposed on an upper side of the grating-like portion and is adapted to rotate so that a lower portion thereof moves rearwardly. The rotor is mounted on a rotary shaft extending in the transverse direction of the beach cleaner. Waste is delivered rearwardly between the rotor and the grating-like portion. With travel of the beach cleaner, waste present in front of the beach cleaner is scooped up onto the grating-like portion and sand which is scooped up together with the waste is allowed to drop through gaps in the grating-like portion.

A beach cleaner for traveling on sandy soil while being towed by a traction vehicle for recovering waste such as empty cans scattered on the sandy soil. The beach cleaner is provided with a travel body. The travel body includes a plurality of longitudinal members arranged in a hurdle shape spacedly and extending in a travel direction and also having in a front portion thereof a portion to be pulled by the traction vehicle. A flat plate-like scraper for scraping up waste together with sand during travel of the beach cleaner is provided in the front portion of the travel body. A net for separating waste from a mixture of sand and waste scraped up by the scraper and for storing the thus-separated waste thereon is stretched on an upper surface of the travel body.

A beach cleaner for recovering waste while being towed by a traction vehicle. The beach cleaner includes a grating-like portion for scooping up waste present in front of the beach cleaner as the beach cleaner is moved. The grating-like portion is inclined so that the front side thereof assumes a lower position. A rotor is disposed on an upper side of the grating-like portion and for rotation so that a lower portion thereof moves rearwardly. The rotor is centered on a rotary shaft extending in the transverse direction of the vehicle. The rotor delivers the waste rearwardly between the rotor and the grating-like portion. A reticulate portion is formed behind the grating-like portion. The reticulate portion is inclined so that the rear side thereof is located at a lower position to hold waste. With movement of the beach cleaner, waste present in front of the beach cleaner is scooped up onto the grating-like portion and sand which is scooped up together with the waste is allowed to drop through gaps in the grating-like portion.

Waste scattered on a sandy beach is recovered in a clean and efficient manner by using a beach cleaner of a simple structure. In a first waste recovery step, a first beach cleaner A is allowed to travel on a sandy beach while being towed by a self-traveling vehicle R, whereby waste G such as string-like waste and other elongated waste is caught on rakes and conveyed to a waste recovery area. In a waste recovery station the first beach cleaner A is lifted to recover the waste. In a second waste recovery step, while a second beach cleaner is allowed to travel by the self-traveling vehicle, waste such as cans which have not been recovered in the first waste recovery step are scooped up in a waste conveying section, and are then collected in a waste collecting section by means of scraping blades and are recovered in a waste recovering area. In a third waste recovery step, while the first beach cleaner A is allowed to travel at a high speed by the self-traveling vehicle R, small waste such as cigarette butts popped up with sand which is scraped up by the scraper are allowed to drop and collected onto a waste catch net, and the waste thus collected is recovered in the waste recovery area.

Method for recovering waste in sandy beach

A four-wheel drive vehicle having straddle-type seating. A power train is located beneath the seat and between the footpegs of the vehicle, the engine employs parallel output shafts located on either side of the crankshaft to drive power transmission means to the front and rear axles. A speed change mechanism is contained within the engine case along with the output shafts and includes a first transmission shaft between the crankshaft and one of the output shafts. The arrangement of the frame is such that the upper portion of the frame is narrower than the lower portion of the frame for appropriate rider comfort and footpeg location. The wheels are located such that the front and rear tracks are substantially the same and diagonals between the wheel centers cross close to the center of gravity of the vehicle. The cushion assemblies of the vehicle are inclined to increase cushion stroke and the steering assembly is arranged with crossing tie bars for maximum steering control with minimum mechanical complexity.

Four-wheel drive vehicle

A frame for a motorcycle having a sealed cavity located within the down tube assembly. The down tube assembly includes two parallel down tubes with two cross members joining same. An inlet and outlet are associated with the cavity thus formed and are placed into communication with the exhaust and intake for lubricant to the engine. Thus, a lubricant supply reservoir is formed. A breather port is also included with the down tube assembly for exhausting gases from the lubricant reservoir. Additional frame construction is disclosed including frame joints, a rear carrier, a rear fender assembly and cross members therefor.

Motorcycle lubrication system

A front and rear wheel drive vehicle having straddle-type seating. A power train is located beneath the seat and between the footpegs of the vehicle. The engine employs parallel output shafts located on either side of the crankshaft to drive power transmission means to the front and rear axles. A speed change mechanism is contained within the engine case along with the output shafts and includes a first transmission shaft between the crankshaft and one of the output shafts. In one embodiment, the cylinder block of the engine is illustrated as being inclined toward the speed change transmission such that the cylinder block, cylinder head and head cover do not extend laterally outwardly beyond the engine case. To employ both output shafts, sprockets are arranged on each shaft with a coupling chain. The orientation of the output shafts provides for a narrower engine profile.

Power train for front and rear wheel drive vehicle

An air cleaner system for motorcycles employing the hollow interior of a main frame member. A U-shaped cavity facing forwardly of the motorcycle in the fuel tank allows access to the air cleaner assembly positioned within the main frame member. An inlet opening is provided on the upper surface of the main frame member while outlet openings on the lower surface thereof extend to carburetors. The inlet opening of the main frame member is reinforced and a baffle is positioned between the air filter assembly and the intake passages to the carburetors.

Air cleaner system for motorcycles

The present invention is directed to a V-type multi-cylinder internal combustion engine mounted on the middle portion of a vehicle body having front and rear wheels. The internal combustion engine has a supercharger comprising an exhaust turbine provided in an exhaust passage of the engine and a compressor provided in an intake passage of the engine and arranged to be driven by the turbine. In the present invention, an expansion chamber is interposed in the intake passage so as to be positioned between an outlet opening of the compressor and respective intake pipes extending from respective intake ports of the cylinders of the engine. The expansion chamber is placed in a space defined by a V bank of the engine.
