According to one embodiment, an x-ray tube includes a cathode and an anode. The cathode includes a filament coil and a focusing electrode that includes a valley bottom part, a first inclined plane rising from the valley bottom part and inclined in the direction of the anode, a first focusing groove, and a first receiving groove. The anode includes a target surface. &#x3b8;&#x3e;0&#xb0;. The filament coil, the first receiving groove, and the first focusing groove are positioned more to a third extended line side than a first reference plane. One end part of the first receiving groove is closer to the first reference plane than the other end part.

X-ray tube

According to one embodiment, an X-ray tube includes a cathode including a filament, an anode target, and an envelope. The cathode includes a metal lead wire supporter which is exposed outside the envelope, which is configured as a part of the envelope, and to which a lead wire as a power supplier to the filament is attached such that the lead wire passes both inside and outside of the envelope, and a metal filament supporter fixed on the lead wire supporter, being in contact with the lead wire supporter, and supporting the filament.

X-ray tube including support for latitude supply wires

An X-ray tube device in one embodiment has an X-ray tube and a container storing the X-ray tube, filled with insulating oil, and having an X-ray emission window. The X-ray tube includes a cylindrical glass envelope holding an anode and a cathode opposite to each other and keeping them in vacuum, and an insulating tube fit over the glass envelope and having an X-ray transmission section. The insulating tube has a base section attached to the container. The base section defines a space communicating between the X-ray transmission section of the insulating tube and the X-ray emission window of the container, and has a container-side end fixed to the container in a liquid-tight manner.

X-ray tube device

An X-ray tube has a cathode, an anode target to emit X-rays, and a vacuum envelope which houses the cathode and the anode target. The vacuum envelope has a first metal member connected to the anode target, a second metal member which is connected to the first metal member and has a coefficient of thermal expansion lower than that of the first metal member, and an electrically insulating annular ceramic member connected to the second metal member and the cathode. In addition, the X-ray tube has a cooling system which is connected to the first metal member and forms a cooling passage. Furthermore, the X-ray tube has an adapter which is in contact with the first metal member, surrounds the second metal member and has a thermal conductivity higher than that of the second metal member, and a heat-transfer medium placed between the ceramic member and the adapter.

According to one embodiment, a distance from an X-ray tube central axis to an outer side surface of a cathode electron gun in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of a filament coil is made less than a distance from the X-ray tube central axis to an outer side surface of the cathode electron gun in the longitudinal direction of the filament coil, and a distance from the X-ray tube central axis to an X-ray radiation window in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the filament coil is made less than a distance from the X-ray tube central axis to an X-ray radiation window in the longitudinal direction of the filament coil.

An X-ray tomograph comprises an X-ray generator having a function of moving the focal position and radiating X-rays toward a subject, an X-ray image receiving element for receiving transmission images created by X-rays radiated from the X-ray generator, and an image processing section for creating a tomographic image by processing the transmission images of the subject received by the X-ray image receiving element. A stereoradioscopic image constructing equipment comprises the X-ray tomograph and a stereoradioscopic image constructing section for creating a stereoradioscopic image by subjecting the created tomographic images to image processing. By using the X-ray tomograph, a tomographic image can be created without providing any high-precision movable mechanism, and a tomographic image of even a soft subject can be correctly created.

X-ray tomograph and stereoradioscopic image construction equipment

An x-ray tube () irradiates an electron beam from a cathode () to impact a target () and emit x-rays. When the x-ray tube () operates, the magnet portion () is rotated every fixed time period and positioned at a prescribed rotation position. Due to the rotation of the magnet portion (), the magnetic field formed by the permanent magnets () changes and the irradiation position on the target () of the electron beam moves. As a result, the electron beam is irradiated at a new position on the target () and the same amount of x-ray as the initial performance is generated.

X-ray equipment

An X-ray generator comprises a cathode electrode (), a grid electrode () for controlling an electron beam (e) generated by the cathode electrode (), a focus electrode () for focusing the electron beam (e), and an anode target () for emitting X rays by the collision of the electron beam (e). A bias voltage (Vb) is impressed between the cathode electrode () and the grid electrode () from a bias voltage generating section (). A tube voltage (Vt) is impressed on the anode target () from a tube voltage generating section (). A voltage dividing section () divides the tube voltage (Vt) to generate a focus voltage (Vf). The effect of a variation in voltage on the formation of a focal point of the electron beam is suppressed by impressing such a focus voltage (Vf) on the focus electrode ().
