The invention aims at providing a forced cooling rotary electric machine capable of bringing temperature distribution close to a designed temperature distribution and avoiding becoming a larger size, and employs a wedge formed with ventilation grooves and a wedge not formed with the ventilation grooves to regulate the flow rates of cooling gas passing through air ducts, so that the cooling gas supplied to a part of a stator core, in which temperature is low, can be caused to flow positively to a part in which the temperature is high and the temperature distribution in the axial direction of the stator core can be uniformized. As a result, the temperature distribution in the axial direction of the stator core can be brought close to a designed temperature distribution, and a forced cooling rotary electric machine that need not be made larger in size with a margin can be obtained.

Forced cooling rotary electric machine

A rotor for a rotary electrical device to be arranged to face to a stator, comprises a rotor iron core extending axially and including a plurality of slots arranged with a predetermined circumferential interval, a rotor coil contained by the slots, a coil support member of electrically insulating property arranged between parts of the rotor coil at an axial end of the rotor coil, and a retaining ring covering the coil support member and the axial end of the rotor coil, the coil support member has two fitted portions and a connecting portion connecting the fitted portions to each other to form H-shape of cross section and to form a space between the rotor coil and each of opposite sides of the connecting portion, and the coil support member further has a communicating path communicating to the spaces.

Rotary electrical device having particular coil support structure

In a rotor of a rotary-electric machine, in order to improve a cooling performance of a rotor winding on an end portion of the rotor in an axial direction, the rotor winding being held by a retaining ring of the rotor winding formed by laminating conductors in slots of a rotor iron core extending in an axial direction and having slots formed at predetermined intervals in a peripheral direction, ventilation channels through which cooling air flows are formed in the surfaces of the conductors along a longitudinal direction. The ventilation channels have air inlet holes which guide the cooling air and exhaust holes which exhaust the cooling air, the conductors are laminated to constitute the rotor winding, and the conductors include openings of the air inlet holes in bottoms of the conductors on a side opposite to a side on which the ventilation channels are formed.

Rotor of rotary-electric machine

A computer system of a multi-operation-system (multi-OS) has a main memory having a memory area for a first OS and a memory area for a second OS, both the areas being independent from each other, and a plurality of I/O devices divisionally allocated to the first OS and the second OS. The first OS is loaded in the first OS memory area, and thereafter when the first OS is operated, the second OS is loaded in the second OS memory area and initialized. When the first OS is operated, the first OS hardware resources and the second OS hardware resources are registered by the first OS. Thereafter when the first OS is operated, the first OS inhibits the registration of an interrupt number already allocated to the second OS I/O device. In response to an interrupt request from a second OS I/O device, the second OS starts operating.

Multi OS configuration method and computer system

In a rotor of a rotary-electric machine, in order to improve a cooling performance of a rotor winding, in a rotor winding on an end portion of the rotor in an axial direction, the rotor winding being held by a retaining ring of the rotor winding formed by laminating a plurality of conductors in slots of a rotor iron core extending in an axial direction and having a plurality of slots formed at predetermined intervals in a peripheral direction, ventilation channels through which cooling air flows are formed in the surfaces of the conductors along a longitudinal direction. The ventilation channels have air inlet holes which guide the cooling air and exhaust holes which exhaust the cooling air, the conductors provided with the ventilation channels which are formed in the surfaces of the conductors along the longitudinal direction and through which the cooling air flows are laminated to constitute the rotor winding, and the conductors include openings of the air inlet holes in bottoms of the conductors on a side opposite to a side on which the ventilation channels are formed.

An armature winding includes a plurality of strand groups each having strands transposed and bound in at least two rows and multiple tiers, and a main insulator for covering the strand group. The strands belonging to a strand group on one side of a central strand group has a cross-sectional area smaller than that of the control strand group, and the strands belonging to the strand group on the other side of the central strand group has a cross-sectional area larger than that of the central strand group.

When molding reinforced fiber layers of a creepage block which is in contact with a field winding in a rotor of a rotary electric machine, a layer containing organic fibers made from polybenzoimidazole, polyparaphenylenebenzobisoxazole, aromatic polyamide, polyarylate, and aromatic polyester is integrally molded on that side of the creepage block which is for contact with a field winding. The rotor thus formed stabilizes a slippage between the field winding and the creepage block caused by thermal expansion of the field winding in the rotor during the operation and thereby minimizes the amount of bending of a rotor shaft.
