A second component (electronic component) includes a second housing, an inner conductor, an outer conductor, and an internal shell. The second housing forms the storage space together with the first housing by being attached to the first housing. The outer conductor has a cylindrical shape and annularly surrounds the inner conductor and extends in the first direction. The internal shell is disposed inside the storage space and electrically connected to the outer conductor. The internal shell has a spring piece that makes elastic contact with the outer conductor.

The connector terminal includes an internal contact section exposed to an interior of the enclosure section shielding body, and an external contact section exposed to an interior of the connector. The enclosure section shielding body is formed of a box-shaped metal shell accommodating the internal contact section in the interior. The connector has a connector section shielding body formed of a tubular metal shell accommodating the external contact section in the interior.

There is provided an imaging apparatus capable of efficiently dissipating heat generated by an electronic circuit unit and eliminating noise. The imaging apparatus includes a housing, which includes an outer frame memberand an inner frame memberthat is made of a metal, a lens unit, which is attached to an opening of the housing, a substrate, on which a heat dissipating wiring line is formed, an electronic circuit unit, which is provided in the inner frame member, and a fixing member, which is made of a metal, is in contact with the heat dissipating metal wiring linein the electronic circuit unitand the inner frame member, and fixes the electronic circuit unitto the inner frame member. The configuration described above achieves not only efficient dissipation of the heat from the electronic circuit unitvia the heat dissipating metal wiring lineand the fixing memberto the inner frame memberbut noise elimination.

To provide an imaging device and an electronic component for the imaging device that are capable of achieving both electromagnetic wave shielding and heat radiation. An external connection connector of a rear housing includes a resin holding portion, and the holding portion includes a case portion connection portion that holds a metal case portion, and a shielding member connection portion that holds a metal shielding member. Accordingly, with a housing including a rear housing, and an imaging device including the housing, heat generated by an electric component can be radiated to the outside effectively with the metal case portion. Furthermore, the metal shielding member can also exert the effect of shielding a pin terminal from electromagnetic waves.

To provide a connector with which a terminal can be easily connected to a substrate without soldering. A connector () is configured such that a contact portion () formed at a terminal () so as to be elastically deformable in the vertical direction is brought into contact with the upper surface of an LED substrate () and is thereby made conductive with the LED substrate (), and such that a locking portion () of each of locking members () is locked to the lower surface of a mounting substrate (), and thereby the contact portion () of the terminal () is held in a state of being in press-contact with the upper surface of the LED substrate (). Thereby, the terminal () can be easily connected to the LED substrate () without soldering, and hence the mounting work of the connector () can be performed very easily.

Connector

An electrical connection terminal for securely retaining a connection object without degrading connection reliability, and a connector using the electrical connection terminal. A first contacting portion adapted to cut into a lead wire of a cable to restrict displacement thereof in a counter-insertion direction is provided in the leading-end corner of a first contact piece of a terminal, and a second contacting portion with which the lead wire slidably makes contact is provided on the leading end of a second contact piece of the terminal. Disconnection of the lead wire is prevented by means of the first contacting portion and securing a sufficient area of connect with the lead wire by the second contacting portion. The second contacting portion is formed by chamfering the leading-end corner of the second contact piece. Accordingly, the leading-end side of the second contact piece need not be bent to form a curved-surface contacting portion.

An electrical connector assembly comprises a flexible flat cable and a coupler. The flexible flat cable has a tip. A plurality of conductors is provided on a section of the tip between ends thereof. The coupler includes a first holding member mated with a second holding member. The flexible flat cable is positioned between the first and second holding members. The coupler is arranged behind the tip such that both sides of the tip are exposed. The coupler has a width longer than the section of the tip provided with the conductors.
