A motor includes a rotor including a shaft extending along a central axis, a stator including a coil and opposing the rotor in a radial direction with a gap, and a busbar positioned at one axial-directional side of the stator. The busbar includes a conducting wire-connecting portion connected to a conducting wire extending from the coil. A notch into which the conducting wire is inserted is provided in the conducting wire connecting portion. An inner circumferential surface of the notch includes a bottom surface opposing an opening side of the notch, a first opposed surface extending from the bottom surface towards the opening, and a second opposed surface extending from the bottom surface towards the opening and opposing the first opposed surface.

Motor and method of manufacturing motor

A bus-bar unit includes bus-bars and a bus-bar holder supporting the bus-bars. The bus-bar includes a first and a second bus-bar piece, including a plate. The first bus-bar piece includes a coil wire connecting portion connected to a coil wire drawn from a stator, and a first junction terminal joined to the second bus-bar piece. The second bus-bar piece includes an external connection terminal connected to an external device, a second junction terminal joined to the first bus-bar piece, and a second piece main body connecting them. The second piece main body has a first extension extending from the external connection terminal along a direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the axial direction, a second extension extending from the second junction terminal along a direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the axial direction, and a crank portion located between them and bent in a crank shape in a plate thickness direction.

Bus-bar unit and motor

A motor includes a rotor including a shaft extending along a center axis in a lengthwise direction, the rotor being rotatable about the center axis, a stator opposite the rotor with a clearance between the stator and the rotor in a radial direction, and a housing accommodating the rotor and the stator. The housing includes a tubular portion extending along the center axis, and a bottom portion closing a lower opening of the tubular portion. The tubular portion includes, on its inner peripheral surface, a fitting portion fitted to the stator, and a tapered portion with a diameter gradually decreasing downward and located below the fitting portion. The tubular portion includes, in its outer peripheral surface, a recessed portion with an axial position overlapping the tapered portion and extending in a circumferential direction.

Motor

A motor includes a rotor with a shaft disposed along a central axis, a stator including coils and facing the rotor via a gap in a radial direction, bus-bars electrically connected to the stator, and bus-bar holders on one side in the axial direction of the stator that are distinct members separated from each other. The coils define coil groups having power systems different from each other. Each of the bus-bar holders holds at least one of the bus-bars different from each other. In each of the bus-bar holders, at least one of the bus-bars held on the bus-bar holder includes a connection terminal electrically connected to an electrical component.

A bus-bar unit includes bus-bars and a bus-bar holder supporting the bus-bars. Each bus-bar includes first and second bus-bar pieces. The first bus-bar piece includes a coil wire connection portion connected to a coil wire drawn from the stator and a first joint terminal joined to the second bus-bar piece. The second bus-bar piece includes an external connection terminal connected to an external apparatus and a second joint terminal joined to the first bus-bar piece. At least a portion of the first bus-bar pieces is embedded in the bus-bar holder. The first joint terminal includes a joint surface which faces and is joined to the second joint terminal and an opposite surface facing a side opposite to the joint surface. The joint surface and the opposite surface of the first joint terminal are exposed from the bus-bar holder.

In a motor, busbars each includes a grasping portion to grasp a conducting wire extending from a coil. A pair of arm portions in each of the grasping portions extend from a base portion to a same side in a circumferential direction. A busbar holder includes a busbar holder body, and a cylindrical first central tubular portion centered on a central axis, projecting to a second axial side from the busbar holder body. A bearing holder includes a first central hole portion centered on the central axis, and extending through the bearing holder in an axial direction. The first central tubular portion is fitted in the first central hole portion. One of the bearing holder and the busbar holder includes a hole portion recessed in the axial direction. Another one of the bearing holder and the busbar holder includes a fitting projection portion projecting in the axial direction. The fitting projection portion is fitted in the hole portion. An axial dimension of a portion of the first central tubular portion fitted in the first central hole portion is greater than an axial dimension of a portion of the fitting projection portion fitted in the hole portion.

A motor includes a rotor, a stator surrounding an outer side of the rotor in a radial direction and including a coil, and a bus bar of a wire electrically connected to the coil and having conductivity, wherein the stator is provided with a hole extending in an axial direction, the bus bar includes stretched portions extending in the axial direction, and each of the stretched portions is disposed in the hole.

Motor and electric power steering apparatus

A motor includes a first bus bar including a first extension, a second extension, and a first bus bar body including a first corner to which the first extension and the second extension are connected. A holder includes a support to support the first bus bar body, a pair of first walls, and a pair of second walls. The pair of first walls include wall surfaces that face each other in the first perpendicular direction and are spaced by a gap from each other, and extend in the first direction. The pair of second walls include wall surfaces that face each other in the second perpendicular direction and are spaced by a gap from each other, and extend in the second direction. A first space is provided between the pair of first walls and the pair of second walls. The first corner is provided in the first space.

Motor including a holding member support portion which supports portions of a bus bar

A motor includes a rotor that includes a shaft centered on a central axis extending in an upward and downward direction; a stator that is disposed to face the rotor in a radial direction; a bearing that supports the shaft; a bearing holder that holds the bearing; and a housing that accommodates the rotor, the stator, and the bearing holder, and opens to an upper side. The housing includes a controller accommodating region that accommodates at least a portion of a controller electrically connected to the stator on an upper side from the bearing holder. An inner diameter of the housing in the controller accommodating region is larger than an inner diameter of the housing at a position to which the bearing holder is attached. The bearing holder is held on an inner peripheral surface of the housing by interference fitting.

A bus bar unit includes a bus bar holder and bus bars. The bus bar holder is provided on an upper side of a stator disposed in a ring around a central axis extending in a vertical direction. The bus bars are supported by the bus bar holder and connected to coil wires extending from the stator. The bus bars are plate-shaped conductors and are supported by the bus bar holder with a plate surface facing in the vertical direction. The bus bars include coil connecting portions connected to the coil wires, and a bus bar body portion connecting the coil connecting portions through a radially inner side of the plurality of the coil connecting portions, respectively, and at least one bus bar crosses over an upper side or a lower side of at least one of the other bus bars.

Bus bar unit, motor, electric power steering device

A motor includes a stator including, a rotor to rotate about a central axis extending in a vertical direction, and a first bus bar, a second bus bar, and a third bus bar to which lead wires of the coils are respectively connected. The first bus bar includes a first connecting portion to which two lead wires are connected, the second bus bar includes a second connecting portion to which two lead wires are connected, the third bus bar includes a third connecting portion to which one lead wire is connected and a fourth connecting portion to which one lead wire is connected. The first and second connecting portions are arranged side by side in a circumferential direction, and the third and fourth connecting portions are arranged in the circumferential direction with the first and second connecting portions interposed therebetween.
