This invention provides a triblock copolymer useful as a compatibilizer for biodegradable polymers, such as polylactic acid, and general-purpose polymers. Namely, this is a triblock copolymer represented by the below general formula (i), wherein each Ris independently selected from the group consisting of H, &#x2014;CH, &#x2014;CH, and &#x2014;CHCH(CH), n is an integer of 10 to 1000, and A represents a polyester block obtained by subjecting one or more cyclic esters selected from the group consisting of lactides, glycolides and lactones, to ring-opening polymerization. 

Triblock copolymer having biodegradable polymer blocks and method of producing the same

A polyesterified block copolymer represented by the general formula (1), (2) or (3) (for example, polyolefin/polyolefin block copolymer of the following general formula (1)), obtained by an esterification reaction between a terminal maleated polymer and a terminal hydroxylated polymer. An amphiphilic functional substance with lipophilicity, affinity for supercritical CO, and if necessary hydrophilicity comprising an oligoolefin chain and a perfluoroalkyl group(s) at a single end thereof or at both ends thereof with or without the intervention of a poly(oxyalkylene) chain, which enables the utilization of supercritical COas a reaction medium; a photopolymerizable functional substance comprising an oligoolefin chain and a reversible photopolymerization/dissociation group(s) at a single end thereof or at both ends thereof and a functional substance comprising a photo- and/or thermodissociable polymer obtained by photopolymerization of the aforementioned photopolymerizable functional substance, which can be utilized as recycle polymers; a hydrolyzable functional substance comprising a polymer obtained by chain-elongating plural oligoolefin chains through ester linkages, which can be utilized as a recycle polymer; and a functional substance capable of forming a microphase separation structure comprising a polymaleimide comprising an oligoolefin chain and a polydimethylsiloxane chain which are bonded to form an imide linkage, which can be utilized as a functional product such as an electronic material. There is also provided novel oligo(1-butene) containing a terminal vinylidene group, which is useful as a raw material in producing the group of functional substances described above.

Functional substances derived from oligoolefins having functional groups at the ends

There is also provided novel oligo(1-butene) containing a terminal vinylidene group, which is useful as a raw material in producing the group of functional substances described above.

There is provided a method of removing acids from the surface and interior of an acetate film produced by deterioration during storage. Such methods are characterized by extracting and removing the acids from the surface and interior of the acetate film, and the extraction treatment includes solvent extraction or evacuation (heating). This method suppresses the deterioration process in the storage of the acetate film.

Resin composition, thermoplastic resin laminate, and production methods thereof

A resin composition of the present invention comprises a polymer having functional groups and a metal oxide surface modified to form functional groups at a surface of the metal oxide and dispersed uniformly in the polymer. The functional groups of the polymer and the functional groups of the metal oxide are ionically bondable to the metal oxide and the polymer, respectively, so that the polymer and the metal oxide are bonded by ionic bonds to each other.
