A hybrid vehicle drive apparatus, including a prime-mover-output-shaft, a transmission-input-shaft and a motor-rotor provided therebetween, each rotatable around an axis-line, a first-clutch arranged radially inward of the rotor to connect/disconnect the output-shaft and the motor, a second clutch arranged radially inward of the rotor axially in tandem with the first-clutch to connect/disconnect the motor and the input-shaft, and a cover-member having a radially extending first, second-sidewall-members and a substantially cylindrical connection-member connecting the first, second-sidewall-members, integrally rotatable with the motor, forming a clutch-chamber enclosing the first, second-clutches by means of the first, second-sidewall-members and the connection-member, and formed with an oil-discharge-port connecting the clutch-chamber and a drain-oil-chamber sideward of the clutch-chamber, wherein the cover-member has first, second-cover-members axially disassemblable at the connection-member and each having a fitting-member fitted integrally rotatable with each other.

A control apparatus for an automatic transmission that selectively engages a plurality of frictional engaging elements for shift control includes a shift instruction device, a temperature calculator, an engageability determiner, an engagement delay device, a load calculator, a cumulative load calculator, and a threshold temperature changer. The engageability determiner is configured to determine whether at least one of the plurality of frictional engaging elements is engageable or not based on a comparison between a temperature of the at least one of the plurality of frictional engaging elements calculated by the temperature calculator and a predetermined threshold temperature in a case where the shift instruction device outputs a shift instruction. The threshold temperature changer is configured to change the predetermined threshold temperature in a case where a cumulative load calculated by the cumulative load calculator reaches a value greater than or equal to a predetermined value.

Control apparatus for automatic transmission and control method for automatic transmission

A control device for an automatic transmission includes a speed change controller configured to generate a speed change instruction. A temperature calculator is configured to calculate a temperature of at least one frictional engagement element among frictional engagement elements. A rotation difference calculator is configured to calculate a rotation difference between an input and an output of the at least one frictional engagement element. A determining unit is configured to determine whether the frictional engagement element is engageable or non-engageable based on the temperature and the rotation difference of the frictional engagement element and a pattern of the speed change instruction. The delay unit is configured to delay engagement until the determining unit determines that the frictional engagement element is engageable, if the determining unit determines that the frictional engagement element is non-engageable when the speed change controller generates the speed change instruction.
