To provide a molded product which is excellent in impact resistance, flexibility and bending resistance without impairing the characteristics (heat resistance, mechanical properties, etc.) of a polyaryletherketone, and has little appearance defects, and a resin composition, whereby it is possible to obtain such a molded product. This resin composition comprises a polyaryletherketone and a fluorinated elastomer. The ratio (MFR/MFR) of the melt flow rate MFRof the polyaryletherketone at a temperature of 372&#xb0; C. under a load of 49 N to the melt flow rate MFRof the fluorinated elastomer at a temperature of 372&#xb0; C. under a load of 49 N is from 0.2 to 5.0, and the proportion of the volume of the polyaryletherketone in the total of the volume of the polyaryletherketone and the volume of the fluorinated elastomer is from 60 to 97 vol %.

Resin composition, molded product and its use

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a laminate being excellent in chemical resistance, wear resistance, vibration absorption properties and flame resistance, and having high mechanical strength; and a method for its production. A laminatecomprises a fiber-reinforced resin layerwhich comprises a reinforcing fiber base material and a resin component containing at least 50 vol % of a specific fluororesin, wherein the ratio of the reinforcing fiber base material to the total volume of the reinforcing fiber base material and the resin component is from 0.30 to 0.70, and a specific substrate, wherein at least one outermost layer is the fiber-reinforced resin layer, and the ratio of the total thickness of the fiber-reinforced resin layerto the total thickness of the substrateis from 1/99 to 30/70.

This fluorinated copolymer composition comprises a thermoplastic resin A being a melt-moldable heat-resistant thermoplastic resin and a fluorinated elastomer B being a fluorinated elastic copolymer, wherein the fluorinated elastomer B is dispersed in the thermoplastic resin A, the number average particle diameter of the fluorinated elastomer B is from 1 to 300 &#x3bc;m, the volume ratio of the thermoplastic resin A to the fluorinated elastomer B is from 97:3 to 55:45, and the fluorinated copolymer composition has a flexural modulus of from 1,000 to 3,700 MPa.

To provide a prepreg excellent in storage stability and capable of obtaining a fiber-reinforced molded product excellent in impact resistance, and a method for its production, as well as a fiber-reinforced molded product excellent in impact resistance. The prepreg comprises reinforcing fibers and a matrix resin, wherein the matrix resin comprises a thermoplastic resin (but excluding the following fluororesin) and a melt-formable fluororesin having a melting point of from 100 to 325&#xb0; C. and having functional groups of at least one type selected from the group consisting of carbonyl group-containing groups, hydroxy groups, epoxy groups and isocyanate groups, and in 100 mass % of the total of the thermoplastic resin and the fluororesin, the proportion of the thermoplastic resin is from more than 30 to 99 mass % and the proportion of the fluororesin is from 1 to less than 70 mass %.

Prepreg, method for its production, and fiber-reinforced molded product

To provide a prepreg excellent in storage stability and capable of obtaining a fiber-reinforced molded product excellent in impact resistance, chemical resistance and inter-member (interlayer) adhesion and a method for its production as well as a fiber-reinforced molded product excellent in impact resistance, chemical resistance and inter-member (interlayer) adhesion. The prepreg comprises reinforcing fibers and a matrix resin, wherein the matrix resin comprises, as a resin component, only a melt-moldable fluororesin having a melting point of from 100 to 325&#xb0; C. and having functional groups of at least one type selected from the group consisting of carbonyl group-containing groups, hydroxy groups, epoxy groups and isocyanate groups, or the fluororesin and a thermoplastic resin (but excluding the fluororesin), and in 100 mass % of the total of the fluororesin and the thermoplastic resin, the proportion of the fluororesin is from 70 to 100 mass % and the proportion of the thermoplastic resin is from 0 to 30 mass %.

Prepreg, method for its production and fiber-reinforced molded product

An insulated electric wire comprising a conductor and an insulating layer covering the conductor, wherein the insulating layer comprises a fluorinated copolymer (A) having units based on tetrafluoroethylene and units based on a perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether, the content of the units based on a perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether is from 0.1 to 1.9 mol % to the total units in the fluorinated copolymer (A); MRF of the fluorinated copolymer (A) as measured by the method in accordance with ASTM D-3307 is at least 0.1 and less than 15; the melting point of the fluorinated copolymer (A) is at least 260&#xb0; C.; and the ratio of the thickness Di of the insulating layer to the diameter Dc of the conductor (Di/Dc) is less than 0.5.

Fluorinated insulated electric wire

A fluorinated resin composition includes a copolymer (A); and a copolymer (B). A mass ratio (A/B) of the copolymer (A) to the copolymer (B) is from 60/40 to 99/1, and a volume flow rate is from 0.5 to 100 mm/sec. The copolymer (A) comprises: units derived from a monomer (a) which is tetrafluoroethylene; units derived from a monomer (b) which is at least one member selected from ethylene, hexafluoropropylene and a perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether). The copolymer (A) has carbonyl groups. The copolymer (B) comprises: units derived from the monomer (a); units derived from the monomer (b); and units derived from the monomer (c) having two or more polymerizable carbon-carbon double bonds. A content of the units derived from the monomer (c) is from 0.1 to 2 mol % based on total units in the copolymer (B).

Fluorinated resin composition

To provide a fluorinated elastomer composition which is excellent in heat discoloration resistance and moldability, and a molded product, cross-linked product and covered electric wire, using such a fluorinated elastomer composition. A fluorinated elastomer composition comprising a fluorinated rubber (a) and a fluorinated copolymer (b), wherein the fluorinated copolymer (b) has units (A) derived from tetrafluoroethylene and units (B) derived from ethylene in a molar ratio [(A)/(B)] of the units (A) to the units (B) of from 25/75 to 80/20; the fluorinated copolymer (b) has a crystallization temperature of from 100 to 210&#xb0; C. and a melt flow rate of from 0.1 to 1,000 g/10 min.; and the mass ratio [(a)/(b)] of the fluorinated rubber (a) to the fluorinated copolymer (b) is from 80/20 to 20/80.

Fluorinated elastomer composition and method for its production, molded product, cross-linked product, and covered electric wire

The present invention provides an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer composition having a high melt flowability while maintaining satisfactory mechanical properties in the obtainable molded product are maintained. The ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer composition (C) has a melt viscosity of from 80 to 500 Pa&#xb7;s, preferably from 100 to 300 Pa&#xb7;s and a tensile elongation of from 200 to 500%, preferably from 350 to 450%. The copolymer composition (C) is may be obtained by melt kneading an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (A) having a low melt viscosity of from 60 to 400 Pa&#xb7;s, preferably from 80 to 300 Pa&#xb7;s and an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (B) having a melt viscosity higher than this i.e. from 600 to 10,000 Pa&#xb7;s, preferably from 1,000 to 7,000 Pa&#xb7;s in a mass ratio of (A)/(B)=50/50 to 99/1, preferably (A)/(B)=60/40 to 97/3.
