A projector includes an adjustment mechanism adjusting a light axis of the optical member. The adjustment mechanism includes a first member, a second member attached to be movable in a first direction orthogonal to the light axis of the optical member with respect to the first member, a third member holding the optical member and attached to be rotatable around a rotation center axis parallel to the light axis with respect to the second member, a first adjustment portion moving the second member in the first direction with respect to the first member, and a second adjustment portion rotating the third member around the rotation center axis with respect to the second member, and an operation portion of the first adjustment portion and an operation portion of the second adjustment portion are placed at the same side.

Lens adjustment mechanism and projector

In addition to reflective light modulation devices, reflective polarization plates, a color combining optical device, and support bodies, a projector is provided with connection members fixed to the color combining optical device and for supporting the support bodies. Support positions of the support body by the connection members are disposed on the opposite side to the disposition position of the reflective light modulation device with respect to a plane including a polarization split surface of the reflective polarization plate.

A prism structure that includes: a plurality of liquid crystal devices each include a liquid crystal panel and a light emitting-side optical element, and generate an image light through modulation of any of a plurality of color lights in accordance with image information; and a cross dichroic prism that combines the image lights coming from the liquid crystal devices. In the prism structure, each of the liquid crystal devices further includes: a fixture member that is fixed to the cross dichroic prism; a retention member that keeps hold of the liquid crystal panel, and is fixed to the fixture member; and a light emitting-side optical element retention member that keeps hold of the light emitting-side optical element, and is rotation-adjustable about an illumination axis. The light emitting-side optical element retention member is rotation-adjusted about the illumination axis before fixation to the retention member.

To provide an optical device by which the ease of assembly, and image quality and cooling performance an optical device includes light modulators and a light combining device to combine optical images includes fixing members opposing located to the luminous flux incident end surfaces of the light combining device and fixed to the light combining device and holding members provided to the fixing members to hold the light modulators. The fixing members and the holding members are formed to have C-shaped sections having base portions formed of rectangular plates in which opening portions to transmit luminous fluxes and pairs of standing pieces standing from the outer peripheral edges of the base portions and are opposed to each other. Optical device and projector

A wind velocity measuring device is used in an electronic apparatus including cooled objects and cooling fans for cooling the cooled objects and measures a wind velocity of air blown to the cooled objects. The wind velocity measuring device includes a wind velocity measuring unit that measures a wind velocity of air, and an air circulating unit that circulates a portion of the air blown to the cooled objects. The air circulating unit includes barrier portions that extend to cross a circulation direction of the air at a front stage side of the circulation direction of the air, and an exhaust port that discharges inner air to the outside and is formed at a rear stage side of the circulating direction of the air, and the wind velocity measuring unit measures a wind velocity of the air between the barrier portions and the exhaust port in the air circulating unit.

Wind velocity measuring device and electronic apparatus

A light source device which can reliably prevent the displacement of its reflector and a projector including the light source device includes a housing. The housing of the light source device includes: a cover member attached to cover a reflecting portion of a reflector from its front side in a light beam launching direction. The housing also includes a housing body to cover the reflector from its rear side in the light beam launching direction. The cover member and reflector are secured by clip-shaped fixing members to pinch and hold the flange portion of the reflector and the abutting face of the cover member abutting against the flange portion. The fixing members are disposed between the slanted face portions of the housing body and the cover member, and pinched and held therebetween.
