A vibration gyroscope includes: a mass part supported to be displaceable in a first direction and a second direction; an exciter vibrating the mass part in the first direction; and a detector detecting a displacement amount of the mass part in the second direction. The first direction and the second direction are orthogonal to each other. A resonance frequency of the mass part in the first direction coincides with a resonance frequency of the mass part in the second direction. A Q-factor of vibration of the mass part in the second direction is smaller than a Q-factor of vibration of the mass part in the first direction.

An output circuit may be provided with: input and output terminals; a ground terminal shared by both an input side and an output side; a first switching element of n-channel type having first positive and negative electrodes, and a first gate; a second switching element of the n-channel type having second positive and negative electrodes, and a second gate; a diode; and a resistive element; in which the first positive electrode is connected with a power source, the first negative electrode is connected with the output terminal, anode of the diode is connected with the first negative electrode, cathode of the diode is connected with the first gate, the resistive element is connected between the source and the first gate, the second positive electrode is connected with the first gate, the second negative electrode is connected with the ground terminal, and the second gate is connected with the input terminal.

Method for producing catalyst ink, and catalyst composite

The present application discloses a deflector including a substrate portion, a movable portion, a reflective portion, a support portion, and a moving mechanism. The movable portion is supported by a first end of the support portion. A second end of the support portion is supported by the substrate portion. An end of the movable portion is capable of coming into contact with the substrate portion. The reflective portion is formed on the movable portion. The moving mechanism is capable of driving the movable portion so as to bring the movable portion into at least any one of a first state, a second state, a third state, and a fourth state.

A method for producing a fuel cell catalyst layer, which is able to allow an ionomer to sufficiently penetrate to the inside of the fine pores of a support with fine pores. The method is a method for producing a fuel cell catalyst layer in which a catalyst is supported on the support with fine pores and is coated with an ionomer, the method comprising: hydrophilizing a surface of the support by use of nitric acid, and dispersing the support, the catalyst and the ionomer by use of a ball mill after the hydrophilizing, wherein the amount of acidic functional groups per specific surface area of the support is set to 1.79 &#x3bc;mol/mor more in the hydrophilizing.

Method for producing fuel cell catalyst layer

Teaching disclosed herein is an apparatus comprising a support layer. The support layer may be adapted for supporting a heat generator, wherein the support layer includes a flow passage. The flow passage may seal working fluid therein. The flow passage may extend along a thickness direction of the support layer.

A plurality of movable units is arranged in a matrix. First and second electrodes are used in common in the movable units arranged in a column. A plurality of third electrodes, which commonly connects tabular members of the movable units arranged in a row, is formed for each row. The drive circuit selects, in order and one by one, the third electrodes. Subsequently, the drive circuit swings the tabular member by applying a bias voltage to the selected third electrode and applying an approach voltage or a separating voltage to a plurality of the first electrodes and second electrodes. During a predetermined period of maintaining a swinging posture, the voltage applied to the third electrodes is maintained as the bias voltage. The tabular member is returned to a non-swinging state by changing the voltage applied to the third electrodes to a reset voltage after the lapse of the predetermined period.

A vibration-sensing gyro composed of a light alloy such as duralumin includes a base and a first pair of tines projecting parallel to each other from the base. Piezoelectric elements are mounted on the root of the side faces of the first pair of tines to excite the first pair of tines along an X axis. The vibrations of the first pair of tines along the X axis are then propagated to a second pair of tines to vibrate the second pair of tines along the X axis. Piezoelectric elements are mounted on the root of the upper and the lower faces of the second pair of tines to detect vibrations of the second pair of tines along an Y axis. When the second pair of tines receives the Coriolis force based on an angular velocity .omega. around a Z axis and vibrates along the Y axis, the vibrations along the Y axis are detected as electric signals (alternating current voltages) by piezoelectric effects of the piezoelectric elements.
