The disclosure relates to a fuel cell apparatus in which a stable installation state may be maintained even when a size thereof is reduced. A fuel cell apparatus according to the present disclosure may include a fuel cell module including fuel cells housed in a housing; a plurality of auxiliary machines which operate the fuel cell module; and an exterior case, shaped in a rectangular prism, which houses the fuel cell module and the auxiliary machines. A gravity center of the fuel cell apparatus may be located below a level equal to half a height of the exterior case.

Fuel cell apparatus

A fuel cell device is improved for operating conditions during a partial load operation. The fuel cell device comprises a cell stack formed by electrically connecting fuel cells for generating power by fuel gas and oxygen-containing gas; a fuel gas supply unit for supplying the fuel gas to the fuel cells; and a power adjustment unit for adjusting the amount of current that is supplied to an external load and a controller for controlling the fuel gas supply unit and the power adjustment unit. The controller adjusts, during the partial load operation of the fuel cell device and when the fuel gas supplied to the cell stack is at a low flow rate. The relationship between a fuel utilization rate of the cell stack and the amount of power generated by the cell stack can be nonlinear.

Fuel cell device

A module of the present invention is formed by housing, in a housing container, a cell stack device that includes cell stacks comprising an arrangement of a plurality of cells. The housing container includes a housing chamber that houses the cell stack device; a first gas introduction section provided in a lower portion of the housing chamber and configured to introduce a first gas supplied into the housing chamber; and a first gas circulation section provided on a side of the housing chamber and connected to the first gas introduction section. The width of the first gas circulation section is narrower than the width of the first gas introduction section.

Module and module accomodation device

A high-frequency antenna element that is easily downsized even when an electromagnetic wave absorber is used, and is capable of protecting a receiving antenna unit by covering the receiving antenna unit, and provides a high-frequency antenna module including the high-frequency antenna element. A control apparatus includes a control unit which instructs a constant temperature mode to the fuel cell unit as one of operation modes, the constant temperature mode being a mode for performing an control to cover power consumption of the auxiliaries by power supplied from the outside and an control to keep a temperature of the power generation unit constant within a prescribed temperature range. In the constant temperature mode, power output from the power generation unit is at least smaller than the power consumption of the auxiliaries.

A cell unit includes a cell stack, two manifolds. The cell stack includes cells. Each cell has a elliptical columnar shape. The each cell includes an inner electrode layer, a solid oxide solid electrolyte layer, an outer electrode layer, a first portion, a second portion, a middle portion and a distribution hole. The solid oxide solid electrolyte layer is on the inner electrode layer. The outer electrode layer is on the solid oxide solid electrolyte layer. The first portion is at one end of the each cell in the length direction of the cells. The second portion is at the other end of the each cell in the length direction. The middle portion is located between the first portion and the second portion. The distribution hole passes through from the first portion to the second portion. A first manifold fixes the first portions. A second manifold fixes the second portions.

[Object] The purpose is to provide a cooling and heating device. [Solution] This cooling and heating device includes: a fuel cell device including a fuel cell; a heating unit which utilizes the heat of exhaust gas discharged from the fuel cell; a thermoacoustic cooler () including a cooling unit which performs a cooling function with use of the heat of the exhaust gas discharged from the fuel cell; and an exhaust gas switching unit () which allows the exhaust gas discharged from the fuel cell to be supplied to at least one of the thermoacoustic cooler () and the heating unit, whereby there can be provided a cooling and heating device which effectively utilizes the exhaust gas of a fuel cell.

[Object] To provide a cell stack device, the power generation efficiency of which is improved, and a fuel cell module and a fuel cell device that include the cell stack device. [Solution] A cell stack deviceincludes a cell stackthat includes a plurality of fuel cellselectrically connected to one another and arranged, the fuel cellsthat each includes a gas channel through which a reactant gas flows. In the cell stack device, the fuel cellsof the cell stackare provided in the form of fuel cell groups that each include an arbitrary number of the fuel cells. In the cell stack device, the fuel cell groups are arranged such that average pressure loss values of the fuel cellsof the fuel cell groups increase sequentially from a central portion to an end portion side in a fuel cellarrangement direction. Thus, the power generation efficiency of the cell stack devicecan be improved.

A toner binder comprising a polyester, the end of which is partially esterified with a monocarboxylic acid and/or a monohydric alcohol, the polyhydric alcohol component of which comprises a Calkylene glycol (a21) and an aromatic-ring-bearing diol (a22) at an (a21)/(a22) molar ratio of 5/95 to 70/30, and which has an ester group concentration of 16 to 30 wt % and satisfies a specific relationship between the ester group concentration and the hydroxy value. The toner binder combines low-temperature fixability and storage stability under high-temperature conditions or heat-temperature and -humidity conditions, and exhibits excellent durability.

Heating medium composition for solar thermal power generation system

[Object] To provide a hybrid system of which overall efficiency is improved. [Solution] A hybrid system of the invention includes: a fuel cell device; and a thermoacoustic cooler. The thermoacoustic coolerincludes: a thermoacoustic energy generating sectionin which thermoacoustic energy is generated by a temperature gradient between a high-temperature side and a low-temperature side; and a cooling sectionin which a function of cooling is performed in the low-temperature side using the temperature gradient between the high-temperature side and the low-temperature side which is produced when the thermoacoustic energy transmitted from the thermoacoustic energy generating sectionis converted into energy. The system is configured to cause exhaust gas emitted from the fuel cell device to flow through the high-temperature side of the thermoacoustic energy generating section. Therefore, it is possible to achieve the hybrid system of which overall efficiency is improved.

Hybrid system

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell that generates electric power using fuel gas and oxygen-containing gas and combusts fuel gas remaining unused for generation of electric power; a fuel gas supply line that supplies the fuel gas to the fuel cell; and an on-off valve disposed in the fuel gas supply line. A shutdown transition mode in which the fuel gas in the fuel gas supply line downstream from the on-off valve is supplied to the fuel cell at a flow rate smaller than that at a time of generation of electric power and is combusted therein after the on-off valve is closed, and a shutdown mode which is started after the shutdown transition mode are provided as an emergency shutdown mode in which the fuel cell undergoes emergency shutdown when the on-off valve of the fuel gas supply line is closed.

Fuel cell system and operating method thereof

A fuel cell system may be capable of reducing an adverse influence which acts on a fuel cell at the time of restarting the fuel cell after emergency shutdown of operation of the fuel cell. A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, a fuel gas supply unit, an oxygen-containing gas supply unit, a storage unit that stores whether shutdown of operation of the fuel cell is normal shutdown or emergency shutdown, and a control unit that controls at least the fuel gas supply unit and the oxygen-containing gas supply unit. The control unit, in emergency shutdown, controls the fuel gas supply unit at a time of restarting the fuel cell after the shutdown of the fuel cell so as to reduce an amount of fuel gas supplied to the fuel cell to be less than that at a time of restarting the fuel cell after normal shutdown.
