A liquid paper container capable of preventing leakage of a liquid and intrusion of, for example, air into the container through a gap between a part of a corresponding one of top-portion horizontal folding creases formed in a blank sheet and a top-portion horizontal folding crease formed in a side sealing panel, which overlap with each other, top panels () and side panels () are respectively contiguous with upper ends of body panels through top-portion horizontal folding creases (). Bottom panels () and inner panels () are respectively contiguous with lower ends of the body panels through bottom-portion horizontal folding creases (). A side sealing panel () is contiguous with a one-side open end edge of a blank sheet (A). A top-portion horizontal folding crease () and a bottom-portion horizontal folding crease () are formed in the side sealing panel.

This invention concerns an ink jet recording paper characterized by comprising a base layer that contains an internal size, and an ink-receptive layer that is made out of a material having good affinity for inks, wherein the ink-receptive layer is superposed on either one or both sides of the base layer by multi-ply paper-manufacturing process; the structure of the ink jet recording paper is such that it has good ink-absorbency enough to catch up with rapid multi-color printing, and provides high optical image, vivid and uniform image definition, and almost no print through, having desirable paper-like figures and hand feeling.

A magnetic head drive circuit for driving a coil of the magnetic head performing opto-magnetic recording, is disclosed. According to the present invention, the switching elements are actuated on the basis of driving signals for commutatingly connecting three power sources presenting three different potentials to both ends of a coil of the magnetic head such that the potential difference across both ends of the coil at the time of magnetic field inversion is larger than that at the time of generation of the stationary magnetic field to render the rise time of the current flowing in the coil sufficiently short.

This invention relates to a recording sheet for ink jet printers which gives an image by the use of an aqueous ink containing a water-soluble dye, coated or impregnated with either of or a mixture of two kinds of water-soluble polymers: one whose polymeric unit is alkylquaternaryammonium (meth)acrylate and the other whose polymer unit is alkylquaternaryammonium (meth)acrylamide, said water-soluble polymers containing not less than 50 mol % of a monomer represented by the following formula (1), ##STR1## where R represents hydrogen or methyl group; n is an integer from 1 to 3 inclusive; R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represent hydrogen or the same or different aliphatic alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms; X.sup..crclbar. represents an anion such as halogen ion, sulfate ion, alkylsulfate ion, alkyl- or aryl-sulfonate ion and acetate ion and Y represents oxygen or imino group.

Recording sheet for ink jet printers

An ink jet recording sheet for overhead projection or blue copy comprising on a transparent or translucent support an ink-absorbing layer which is made by coating an organic solvent which contains a denatured polyethylene oxide being soluble in the organic solvent and having a water absorbing ability onto the transparent or translucent support. The ink jet recording sheet which results provides excellent ink drying ability and high optical density, and is excellent for overhead projection or blue copy.

In a system for recording and reproducing digital signals on a magnetic tape using a rotary head, in which the signals are recorded as a series of slanted tracks without guard bands between adjacent slanted tracks, a pilot signal that was recorded during the recording process is used to control the tracking of the playback head. The pilot signal is recorded at a specific position in a specific pilot signal record region, independent from the region of the track at which the informational signal is recorded and the pilot signal is arranged at a predetermined position or positions being a specified distance from an end of each track in its longitudinal direction and only alternate tracks receive such pilot signal. When the recorded tracks are reproduced by a rotary playback head having a tracing width that is greater than the width of the track, the pilot signals from the adjacent tracks will be detected and can be compared in level, with the comparison output being used to control the tracking of the rotary playback head.

Method and apparatus for recording a digital information signal
