A differential logger stores, into a log storage from a device memory, a differential log being a log of a device value that has changed at each execution of a control program. A collective logger collectively stores, at a set time, collection target device values into the log storage as reference data to be used to collect the differential log. A split logger acquires as split logs, after the set time, logs of the device values multiple times, and stores the split logs into the reference data storage. The differential logger overwrites data in the log storage with the differential log after new reference data is stored into the log storage.

The present invention relates to a method for introducing a substance into a plant. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: obtaining an enzymatically treated and isolated fertilized egg cell by (1-i) isolating a fertilized egg cell from a plant tissue containing a fertilized egg cell, and then treating the fertilized egg cell with an enzyme solution containing a plant tissue-degrading enzyme under a low-titer condition, (1-ii) treating a plant tissue containing a fertilized egg cell with an enzyme solution containing a plant tissue-degrading enzyme under a low-titer condition, and then isolating the fertilized egg cell that has been enzymatically treated, (1-iii) treating a plant tissue containing a fertilized egg cell with an enzyme solution containing a plant tissue-degrading enzyme under a low-titer condition, and simultaneously isolating the fertilized egg cell that has been enzymatically treated, (1-iv) isolating an egg cell and a sperm cell from a plant to produce a fertilized egg by fusing the cells, and then treating the fertilized egg cell with an enzyme solution containing a plant tissue-degrading enzyme under a low-titer condition, or (1-v) treating a plant tissue containing an egg cell with an enzyme solution containing a plant tissue-degrading enzyme under a low-titer condition, and then isolating the egg cell that has been enzymatically treated, and further fusing the egg cell with an isolated sperm cell; and (2) introducing a substance selected from the group consisting of nucleic acids, proteins, and peptides into the resultant enzymatically treated and isolated fertilized egg cell.

Method for introducing substance into plant

An in-case oil passage extending in an axial direction above a plurality of gears is formed inside an outer peripheral wall portion of the accommodating case. The in-case oil passage includes an in-case oil passage opening portion which opens from the cover wall portion to the one end side in the axial direction. The cover wall portion is provided with an oil guide member at a position where at least a part of the cover wall portion overlaps the in-case oil passage opening portion when viewed from the one end side in the axial direction, the oil guide member guiding oil discharged from the in-case oil passage opening portion to the oil collecting portion of the oil collecting pocket.

Transmission unit

An oil level gauge structure with an oil level gauge attachment hole functioning as an oil filling opening provided in a casing of an engine with an oil level gauge for closing up the attachment hole. The oil level gauge has a columnar portion formed on the lower end side of an external thread. The columnar portion has a predetermined length and is continuous with the external thread for attaching the oil level gauge to the casing. A guide hole into which the columnar portion is fitted to restrict the position of the columnar portion is provided on the lower end side of an internal thread of an attachment hole of the casing. The columnar portion of the oil level gauge is formed to have such an axial length that the lower end of the columnar portion exceeds the depth of the internal thread of the casing.

By changing coefficients of second-order and first-order calculation terms relating to respective hues, and first-order calculation terms in the form of comparison-result data relating to respective inter-hue areas, only the target hue or inter-hue area among the six hues of red, blue, green, yellow, cyan, and magenta, and the six inter-hue areas can be varied, without affecting other hues and inter-hue areas. Thus, the six hues and six inter-hue areas can be corrected independently, and the large-capacity memory is not required.

Color conversion device and color conversion method

A color picture display apparatus employs an array of light-emitting diodes or other light-emitting elements emitting different colors. A television signal is converted to monochromatic signals of the different colors. A color converter modifies the monochromatic signals, thereby changing the displayed hues to match the hues that would be displayed on a television screen, to compensate for ambient lighting conditions, or to achieve other desired effects. If each picture element has only a single light-emitting element, the modification preferably avoids unlit gaps in monochromatic areas of the displayed picture.

A curved surface designing method comprises the steps of a first step of inputting edge shape data of n-sides of a curved surface, a second step of obtaining a regular n-sided polygon in a parameter space on the basis of the given data of n sides, a third step of calculating distance parameters on the basis of the regular n-sided polygon obtained by the second step, a fourth step of calculating blending values on the basis of the distance parameters, a fifth step of mapping an inner point D of the regular n-sided polygon onto the respective sides so as to calculate boundary parameters, a sixth step of calculating at least one of three-dimensional coordinate points, and, if necessary, tangent vectors, on sides which are boundaries of the curved surface on the basis of the boundary parameters, and a seventh step of calculating arbitrary points on the curved surface on the basis of the distance parameters, the blending values, the three-dimensional coordinate points of the respective sides, and, if necessary, the tangent vectors, of the respective sides.

A work station of a computer system capable of batch storing and retrieving image data separately from a usual data file system, equipped with a main processor, main processor memory and direct memory access (DMA) controller connected to a common bus, equipped with a graphic processor and window memory between the common bus and an image data bus, and equipped with a frame memory in connection with an image display unit on the image data bus, wherein the work station is further provided with an image data memory, e.g., disk unit, on the image data bus, a memory input/output controller lcoated between the image data memory and the image data bus for controlling image data transfer using a direct memory access (DMA) function, and an image data input unit and output unit connected to the memory input/output controller, so that mass image data can be transferred directly between the memory and input/output units under control of the memory input/output controller without going through the window memory.
