A power conversion device includes: a DC/DC converter; and a control circuit unit that controls the DC/DC converter, in which the DC/DC converter includes a first power output circuit that converts first direct current power into first alternating current power, an isolation transformer that converts the first alternating current power into second alternating current power, and one or a plurality of second power output circuits, each of which converts the second alternating current power into second direct current power, and the control circuit unit includes a resonance characteristic calculator that calculates a resonance characteristic of the second power output circuits based on a load for each of the second power output circuits to output the second direct current power, and determines a drive frequency of the first power output circuit based on an output request value of the second power output circuit and the resonance characteristic that is calculated.

Provided is a flowing-water sterilization system that includes a flow channel for passing seawater to be sterilized, and a light source emitting ultraviolet light to irradiate the seawater passing through the flow channel, wherein the light source includes a light-emitting diode that emits light not including infrared light. The light-emitting diode may emit ultraviolet light that has a wavelength of not less than 250 nm and not more than 350 nm and does not include light with a wavelength of not more than 200 nm. The system may further include a cooling unit for cooling the light source.

Flowing-water sterilization system

The purpose of the present invention is to detect variations between the quantities of fuel injected into cylinders by fuel injection devices and correct the fuel injection quantity variation while minimizing the computational load on a drive device and the level of performance required of a pressure sensor. A drive device for fuel injection devices according to the present invention performs control wherein movable valves are driven so that predetermined quantities of fuel are injected by applying, for the duration of a set energization time, a current that will reach an energization current to solenoids of a plurality of fuel injection devices which open/close fuel flow paths. The drive device is characterized in that the set energization time or energization current is corrected on the basis of a pressure detection value from a pressure sensor that is attached to a fuel supply pipe disposed upstream of the plurality of fuel injection devices.

Provided is a high-pressure fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine, said device being capable of suppressing noise from collisions of a plunger rod and an air intake valve. A high-pressure fuel pumpcomprises an intake valve, a plunger rod that is formed as a separate element from the intake valve, an elastic member that biases the plunger rod in the valve-opening direction of the intake valve, and a solenoid that draws the plunger rod in the valve-closing direction of the intake valve when supplied with electricity. A control devicehas a first control unit that applies a first current to the solenoid in order to close the intake valve, and a second control unit that applies a second current to the solenoid before the plunger rod collides with the intake valve due to the biasing force of the elastic member.

Alternatively, the present invention is a control device for an internal combustion engine, for controlling an internal combustion engine provided with fuel injection valves for directly injecting fuel respectively to a plurality of cylinders, wherein the control device is provided with a valve-closing time detecting means for detecting a valve-closing time of a valve body of each of the fuel injection valves, and a fuel temperature estimating means for estimating the temperature of fuel on the basis of the valve-closing duration of the valves detected by the valve-closing time detecting means.

Control device for internal combustion engine

An engine control device sets a target value for the engine oil temperature appropriately in an engine that uses gasoline as a fuel, even when the fuel does not have a single boiling point because the gasoline is a mixed composition, or when the fuel property changes (for example, when the vaporization property changes due to deterioration). In other words, the engine control device prevents excessive heating or insufficient heating by changing the oil temperature to the high side in a condition wherein the fuel being used does not easily vaporize, and changing the oil temperature to the low side in a condition wherein the fuel being used easily vaporizes. This engine control device includes an oil temperature controller that controls the temperature of oil lubricating the interior of the engine; a fuel supply device that supplies fuel to the engine; and a detector for detecting the property of the fuel. The temperature of the oil is controlled on the basis of a signal from the detector.

Engine control device

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an engine control system that is capable of promoting mixing of fuel and air during exhaust gas recirculation, thereby suppressing combustion fluctuation of a gasoline engine, such that efficiency and exhaust gas purification can be simultaneously achieved. The engine control system controls an engine and is equipped with an injection device for injecting fuel directly into a cylinder and a recirculation device for recirculating exhaust gas to the intake side. When the temperature of the recirculating exhaust gas recirculated by the recirculation device is high as opposed to when the temperature is low, or when the amount of the recirculating exhaust gas recirculated by the recirculation device is large as opposed to when the amount is small, at least one of the following is executed: advancing of the fuel injection timing (IT_SP (n&#x2212;2) of the injection device; increasing of the fuel pressure (FP) to be supplied to the injection device; reducing the frequency (n) of divided multi-stage injection to be performed by the injection device during the period between intake top dead center and compression top dead center; and reducing of the interval of divided multi-stage injection (IT_RE (n&#x2212;2)).

Engine control system

Although a method for changing a combustion method taking place in an internal combustion engine depending on running condition is proposed, it can be considered that conditions under which a combustion noise occurs naturally differ with different methods. A detection method of prior art is not compatible with different combustion methods and the accuracy of combustion noise detection was low. Accurate combustion noise detection is enabled by identifying a combustion mode taking place in the internal combustion engine, selecting a sensed frequency or frequency band of a combustion noise sensor that detects a combustion noise in a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine according to the combustion mode, and detecting a combustion noise.

Provided is a control device of a direct injection engine, the control device that can prevent the amount of emission of soot from increasing and the exhaust performance from worsening when a restart request is made before an engine is stopped after an idle stop condition is satisfied. When a restart request is made before an engine is stopped after an idle stop condition is satisfied, at least one of the number of fuel injections in one combustion cycle and the air/fuel ratio of an air fuel mixture used for combustion is changed for each cylinder according to a piston position at that time.

Control device of direct injection engine

In a direct injection gasoline engine, at acceleration operation, an amount of internal EGR is increased by advancing exhaust valve closing timing, and also fuel injection pressure is increased. In this case, range of increase in fuel injection pressure is determined on the basis of the exhaust valve closing timing at present.

Control apparatus of a direct injection gasoline engine

Disclosed is a fuel injection system that is used with an internal-combustion engine to reliably perform a requested fuel injection operation a requested number of times even when a boost voltage is lowered. The fuel injection system monitors the boost voltage immediately before the start of fuel injection, and varies a valve open time in accordance with the monitored boost voltage. Even when the boost voltage is lowered, the fuel injection system performs a fuel injection operation the requested number of times.
