A vehicle seat adjustment device includes a first adjustment mechanism, a second adjustment mechanism, and a controller. The first adjustment mechanism is moved in a first direction upon driving of a first motor to adjust a position of a vehicle seat. The second adjustment mechanism is moved in both the first direction and a second direction orthogonal to the first direction upon driving of a second motor to adjust the position of the vehicle seat. The controller controls and drives the first motor and the second motor. A speed at which the second adjustment mechanism is moved in the first direction is lower than or equal to a speed at which the first adjustment mechanism is moved in the first direction. When the second motor needs to be driven, the controller drives the second motor while driving the first motor.

Vehicular seat adjustment device, position adjustment control device, and vehicular seat adjustment method

This vehicle seat device is equipped with a position detection unit which detects the movement position of a vehicle seat. The position detection unit is equipped with a forward direction counting unit and a reverse direction counting unit. The forward direction counting unit counts, in a forward direction, pulse edges during the driving of a motor and pulse edges during the time interval in which the motor current changes from a first polarity to a second polarity opposite to the first polarity due to driving of the motor being stopped. The reverse direction counting unit counts, in a reverse direction opposite to the forward direction, the pulse edges during the time interval in which the motor current changes from the second polarity to the first polarity after driving of the motor is stopped.

Vehicle seat device

A vehicle seat device includes a lock mechanism, a drive source, which has an output portion, a cancellation detection portion, which detects the cancellation of restriction by the lock mechanism, and a restriction detection portion, which detects restriction by the lock mechanism. When cancelling restriction on the basis of operation of the operation switch, current is supplied to the drive source such that the output portion moves in the forward direction until the cancellation detection portion has detected cancellation, and when the cancellation has been detected, the supply of current to the drive source is stopped. When performing the restriction on the basis of operation of the operation switch, current is supplied to the drive source such that the output portion moves in the reverse direction until the restriction detection portion has detected restriction, and when restriction has been detected, the supply of current to the drive source is stopped.

Provided is a vehicle seat apparatus including drive mechanism for moving configuring elements of a vehicle seat using a motor drive, in order to adjust a posture; control mechanism for controlling the operation of the drive mechanism; a rotation sensor which outputs pulse signals synchronized with a motor rotation; position detection mechanism for detecting a movement position of the configuring elements by counting pulse edges of the pulse signals according to the motor rotation direction; and reverse rotation detection mechanism for estimating that a reverse rotation has occurred in the motor rotation, in a situation where the pulse edges are continuously detected after the motor drive is stopped, if the rotation direction is unchanged, in a case where a motor rotation speed indicated by the pulse edges after the stop becomes faster than the motor rotation speed before the motor drive is stopped.

Vehicle seat apparatus

Disclosed is a seat sliding apparatus for a vehicle, the apparatus provided with a pair of lower rails fixed to the vehicle floor and a pair of upper rails fixed to a vehicle seat. The seat sliding apparatus causes screw shafts supported at the upper rail to rotate relative to nut members fixed to the lower rails and the upper rails to move relative to the lower rails in the seat forward-rearward direction. A speed reducer-equipped motor comprises a motor, a gear mechanism, and a gear housing. The gear housing is designed so that the axis of the output shaft of the gear mechanism extends in the seat width direction. A manipulation switch comprises a manipulating portion fixed to the gear housing such that the operation switch is exposed at a forward end of the seat.

Seat sliding apparatus for a vehicle

A glass breakage detecting sensor includes a strain detecting portion by which breakage of a window glass, which is provided at a door of a vehicle, is detected based on changes of an amount of strain, and an attaching portion attached to at least one of an opening and closing mechanism, which freely movably supports the window glass, and an inner panel to which the opening and closing mechanism is arranged within the door, the opening and closing mechanism and the inner panel functioning as an attached portion.
