An object of the present invention is to provide a relay in which an external lead-out terminal portion can be arranged in an optional position so as to constitute an in-line terminal while forming a base and performing a sealing operation easily. Horizontal portions are formed by bending terminal portions of coil terminals of an electromagnet block, and the horizontal portions are laid along the under face of a base to arrange the terminal portions and other terminal portions in a line.

An anti-rotation mechanism in a linear actuator has outer and inner cylinders, affords high accuracy and rigidity, is simple in structure, not requiring the use of a tie rod, and is inexpensive to manufacture. The outer cylinder 3 has both end portions 3 of circular cross section and an intermediate portion whose inner surface has an axially uniform non-circular cross-sectional shape including a rotation inhibiting surface 3F. The inner cylinder 4 has a collar 7 on the outer peripheral surface which is guided and supported slidably by the intermediate portion of the outer cylinder and has a conforming non-circular cross-sectional shape including a flat surface 7B for sliding engagement with the rotation inhibiting surface 3F to inhibit rotation of the inner cylinder.

In an electromagnetic relay in which a contact mechanism 50 provided on a base 10 is driven by a card 60 which slides and moves in parallel to the axis of an electromagnet block 20 provided in the base 10 as the electromagnet block 20 is magnetized and demagnetized, the base 10 comprises a guide portion 17 for restricting the card 60 in its position. This prevents variations in the performance characteristics so that high productivity and long service life of contacts can be obtained.

Electromagnetic relay

A linear actuator in which the number of limit switches to be mounted, as well as the mounting position and direction of limit switches, can be selected with a high degree of freedom, the limit switch mounting spacing can be made short, and a positive operation is ensured while using a small number of components. Flat limit switch mounting flanges are fixed onto an outer cylinder of a linear actuator so that their positions are adjustable in both axial and circumferential directions of the outer cylinder, and a guide rail for slidably guiding a striker is supported by and between the limit switch mounting flanges. The striker is connected with the actuator rod of the actuator by a connecting rod. With projection or retraction of the actuating rod, the striker moves and actuates limit switches attached to the associated limit switch mounting flanges.

An electromagnetic relay comprising a smaller number of components and would be shorter than its predecessors. A movable block and a contact mechanism in a conventional relay are arrayed in a linear fashion, which tends to increase the length of the relay. This relay, however, has a movable block placed on a electromagnetic block, and a drive rod extending from the movable block drives a contact mechanism which is installed on one side of the electromagnetic block to short the length of the relay.

An electromagnetic relay which is small in size, low in power consumption, high in productivity, and long in service life and which operates with high accuracy. The electromagnetic relay in which the electromagnet is energized and deenergized to swing its armature to drive a slide card, and a movable contact piece forming a contact mechanism is swung by the card, wherein a small gap is formed between the movable contact piece and a part of an end of the card, when the card is returned.
