A vehicle door lock device includes: a door lock body configured to be mounted to a door; an outside open lever mounted, in a pivotable manner, to a support shaft arranged on the door lock body; and a coupling member mounted to a pivot end portion of the outside open lever and having an insertion hole. An end portion of a rod on the outside open lever side is insertable through the insertion hole. The rod is configured to couple the outside open lever and an outside door handle configured to be mounted to a vehicle exterior side of the door. A mounting hole in the coupling member intersects the insertion hole, and the pivot end portion of the outside open lever has a mounting portion. The coupling member is fitted and fixed onto the mounting portion of the outside open lever through the mounting hole.

Door lock device for vehicle

An electric supply structure includes a body including plural shaft support portions, a housing being joined with the body, a motor being positioned between the body and the housing, being restricted from moving in an axial direction of a motor shaft by the shaft support portion and being rotatably supported about the motor shaft, a terminal being connected to the motor, and a connector being provided with an insertion hole. The terminal includes a bus bar portion movably mounted to the body, a motor-side terminal portion being fixed on the motor so as to supply electricity and a connector-side terminal portion being positioned to be inserted into the insertion hole. The housing includes first and second pressing portions having different stiffnesses and being configured to hold the motor while displacing a rotational attitude of the motor about the motor shaft in a specific direction by pressing the motor.

Electric supply structure

A door lock device has a high degree of freedom in the disposition of an open link for switching between a locked state and an unlocked state and has low operational resistance when being put into the locked state. When there is a malfunction in which the open link is jammed by the dust and therefore does not move from a lock waiting position to an unlock waiting position even when an unlock action is performed, when an outside handle interlock lever is turned, a sliding-contact tilt guide provided on a support body slides and makes sliding-contact with the open link and forcibly tilts the open link, and as a result, it becomes unnecessary to increase an energizing force of a torsion coil spring as a precaution against such malfunction. This makes it possible to reduce the operational resistance when the door lock device is put into the locked state.

Door lock device

A vehicle door lock device includes: a housing having an opening; a coupling member configured to be coupled to an operation mechanism arranged on a door; an operation lever arranged inside the housing and coupled to the coupling member through the opening; and a cover capable of opening and closing the opening and a coupling point between the coupling member and the operation lever. The cover is separate from the housing and assembled to the housing to be mountable on and demountable from the housing and rotatable between opened and closed states. Each of the housing and the cover includes: a temporary retaining mechanism to temporarily retain the cover in the opened state when the cover is assembled to the housing in a rotatable manner; and a full retaining mechanism configured to retain the cover in the closed state when the cover is rotatably assembled to the housing.

Vehicle door lock apparatus

A position holding device for a rotating lever includes a rotating lever and a torsion spring. The rotating lever is elastically held at two positions, that is, a first position and a second position. The torsion spring includes a coiled part, and a first arm part and a second arm part each extending from the coiled part. The first arm part has a mountain portion formed thereon, and the second arm part has a reversely urging portion formed thereon. An urging force of the reversely urging portion is applied to the rotating lever as a braking force against an urging force of the mountain portion. Further, a regulating member is formed on a base member so as to abut against the first arm part when the rotating lever rotates toward the first position through a neutral position.

Rotating-lever-position-holding device

A child protector mechanism includes a base member, a first lever, a second lever, a bush arranged between the first lever and the second lever, a child protector lever for moving the bush to an unset position or a set position, and a position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. The bush is retained at each of the unset position and the set position by the position retaining mechanism provided between the first lever and the bush. Therefore, when assembling the bush and the first lever to the base member, the bush is retained at a predetermined position (for example, unset position) with respect to the first lever so that the bush does not move. Thus, the easiness of assembly of the bush and the first lever and the easiness of assembly of the child protector lever are excellent.

Child protector mechanism

Provided is a position holding device for a rotating lever, which includes a rotating lever and a torsion spring, and is capable of elastically holding the rotating lever at the two positions including a first position and a second position. The torsion spring includes a coiled part, and a first arm part and a second arm part each extending from the coiled part and facing each other across an engagement portion of the rotating lever. The first arm part includes a mountain portion formed at an intermediate portion thereof. The second arm part includes an urging portion. As a result, an urging force generated by the urging portion can be applied to the rotating lever as a braking force against an urging force generated by the mountain portion. Consequently, it is possible to reduce an abutment noise generated when the rotating lever abuts against a stopper member.

Position holding device for rotating lever and vehicle door lock device provided with said position holding device for rotating lever

A vehicle door latch mechanism includes a resin body, a base plate and a sub base plate nipping this body. The body has an accommodating portion capable of accommodating a latch and a pawl, an insertion groove through which a striker is inserted, a cantilever support portion nipping the striker with a facing inner wall surface, a receiving portion for restricting inclination of the cantilever support portion to a predetermined amount, and a cushion accommodating portion capable of accommodating a cushion for pressing the cantilever support portion toward the striker. A support portion for suppressing a deformation of the receiving portion when a free front end of the cantilever support portion is engaged with the receiving portion is provided in the sub base plate.

Latch mechanism for a vehicle door lock device

A vehicle door lock device includes a latch mechanism having a latch and a pawl, and a lock mechanism having an open lever linked with the pawl. The lock mechanism is combined with the latch mechanism. A latch-side axial support portion is provided in a latch housing of the latch mechanism. The latch-side axial support portion rotatably supports a coil portion of a pawl spring for biasing the pawl toward a default position. A lock-side axial support portion is provided in a lock housing of the lock mechanism. The lock-side axial support portion rotatably supports a coil portion of an open lever spring for biasing the open lever toward a default position. At least part of the latch-side axial support portion overlaps with the lock-side axial support portion, so that pulling out of the open lever spring is prevented by means of the latch-side axial support portion.

Vehicle door lock device

Provided is an automotive door latch device, including: a latch pushed to rotate by a striker; a latch return spring for biasing the latch toward a return position thereof; a pawl engageable with the latch to inhibit the latch to pivot in a door opening direction (return position); and a pawl return spring for biasing the pawl toward a return position thereof. A housing part of a body, which houses the latch and the pawl, is opened downward at a position below the pawl on one side of the body. The pawl return spring is assembled to a spring mounting part formed on another side of the body at a position spaced downward from a rotational support part of the pawl, and includes a pawl-side end part that engages with the pawl through a through hole provided in the body. Thus, dust or the like entering the housing part of the body, which houses the latch and the pawl, can be discharged out of the body with higher efficiency.

A vehicle door lock device includes a housing including: an outer housing body including a covering portion covering an outer side of an electric motor and an outer side of a worm, an outer shaft-supporting portion supporting an active lever, and an outer shaft-supporting portion supporting a worm wheel; and an inner housing body including an inner shaft-supporting portion supporting an active lever, and an inner shaft-supporting portion supporting the worm wheel. An outer surface of the covering portion of the outer housing body and an outer surface of the outer shaft-supporting portion, which is provided in the outer housing body, for supporting the active lever, are formed in the same flat surface, and an outer surface of the outer shaft-supporting portion, which is provided in the outer housing body, for supporting the worm wheel, is formed in a dented surface dented inwardly with respect to the flat surface.

A door lock device for a vehicle, provided with an opening lever driven as a door handle is operated, an opening link interposed between the opening lever and a lift lever of a latch mechanism, a lock operation unit for switching the opening link to an unlock position or a lock position, and a locking lever for driving the lock operation unit. A retaining portion is provided to the opening lever. The retaining portion holds the opening link at a retaining position between the lock position and the unlock position when the opening link becomes switched by the locking lever through the lock operation unit from the lock position to the unlock position with the opening link driven by the opening lever.

A vehicle door lock device includes an active lever configured to bring an open link into a locked or unlocked state, and a child safety lock mechanism configured to enable pushing force transfer from an inside open lever to the open link in an unset state. Under a condition where the door is in an opened state, the active lever is situated at an unlocked position, and an intermediate member of the child safety lock mechanism is situated at an unset position, when a door opening operation of an inside door handle and an operation of a child safety protector lever for the intermediate member to move from the unset position to a set position are sequentially performed, a pushing portion of the intermediate member is engaged with an engagement portion of the active lever so that the active lever moves from the unlocked position to a locked position.
