An image measurement apparatus includes: a setting section which sets a measurement element having a geometric shape; a storage section which stores in advance a correspondence relationship between a shape type or a size of the measurement element settable by the setting section, and positions and the number of contact target positions of the touch probe to be arranged with respect to the measurement element; and a control section which specifies a plurality of contact target positions of the touch probe based on a position of the measurement element on the workpiece image set by the setting section, the shape type or size of the measurement element, and the correspondence relationship stored in advance during the measurement execution by the touch probe, and relatively moves a stage or the touch probe to move the touch probe sequentially to the plurality of specified contact target positions.

Image measurement apparatus

A first contact target position, a second contact target position, and a characteristic pattern for specifying a position and a posture of the workpiece are set in association with each other. First and second contact target positions for measurement are specified from a workpiece image newly generated during the execution of measurement such that a driving section is controlled to bring the touch probe into contact with the side surface of the workpiece with the specified first contact target position for measurement as a reference, and the driving section is controlled to bring the touch probe into contact with the upper surface of the workpiece with the specified second contact target position for measurement as a reference. Three-dimensional coordinates of a contact point are measured based on a contact signal output when the touch probe comes into contact with the workpiece.

The image measurement apparatus searches for a workpiece by performing a first stage operation. The image measurement apparatus generates an image in each imaging field-of-view while moving the stage according to a predetermined sequence, and determines whether or not the workpiece is included in each image. When the workpiece is found, the image measurement apparatus switches from the first stage operation to a second stage operation. The image measurement apparatus generates an image in one or more imaging field-of-views located in a direction in which the workpiece extends, among a plurality of imaging field-of-views located around the imaging field-of-view on the stage, in which the image has been obtained. The image measurement apparatus joins a plurality of images generated in the second stage operation to generate a joined image including the whole workpiece, and displays the joined image.

There are included a display section for displaying a model image, an input receiving section for receiving designation, in the model image, of a measurement element for which measurement is to be performed by the probe, a storage section storing, in advance, an arrangement rule defining a relationship between a shape type or a size of a measurement element and arranged positions of contact target positions of the probe, and a measurement control section for identifying, at a time of measurement execution, contact target positions of the probe based on a position of the measurement element designated by the input receiving section, a shape type or a size of the measurement element, and the arrangement rule that is stored in the storage section, and for controlling a horizontal drive section so that the probe sequentially moves to the plurality of contact target positions identified.

Image measurement device

There are included a probe that can be arranged in an imaging field of view, a horizontal drive section for causing the probe to contact a side surface of a workpiece on a stage, a display section for displaying a model image, a contact position designation section for receiving designation of contact target position information in the model image, a characteristic amount information setting section for setting characteristic amount information, a measurement setting information storage section for storing a plurality of pieces of contact target position information and the characteristic amount information, and a measurement control section for identifying a position and an attitude of the workpiece from a workpiece image by using the characteristic amount information, for identifying a plurality of contact target positions on the side surface of the workpiece where the probe should contact, based on the identified position and the identified attitude of the workpiece.

Present invention is an image measurement device capable of easily identifying a degree of disagreement between contours for a plurality of workpieces, and including: an edge extraction unit that extracts an edge line from a workpiece image; an image comparison unit that compares the workpiece image with the previously held master image, an error calculation unit that calculates, based on the comparison result, an error indicating an amount of displacement between an edge position of the workpiece image and a position of the master image corresponding to this edge position; a statistical information calculation unit that calculates statistical information of the calculated error for a plurality of workpiece images and for each edge position; a statistical information display unit that displays the statistical information along the edge line extracted from the workpiece image or the master image in a display mode suitable for the values of the statistical information.

Image measurement device, method for image measurement, and computer readable medium storing a program for image measurement

An image measurement device capable of recognizing a relative position and easily identifying a measurement result is provided, the device including: a measurement configuration data storage section that holds characteristic amount information, information for portions to be measured, and setting value information; a placement state detection section that detects a position and a posture of each workpiece; an edge detection section that detects an edge of portions to be measured; a pass-fail determination section that calculates size values of the portions to be measured and performs pass-fail determination of the portions to be measured and the workpiece; a measurement result display section that displays a result of the pass-fail determination of the workpiece over the workpiece image; and a workpiece selection section for selecting any of the workpieces. The measurement result display section displays the result of the pass-fail determination for the portions to be measured of the selected workpiece.
